I 100% agree with everything you just said😊. I have completely stopped seeing my doctor since being on Carnivore. I figure my doctor has kept me sick for all these years. It only took a good diet to feel good. None of my doctors recommendations have worked for me. I might go back if I break a bone !
That’s kind of how I feel now too.
Hi Jay. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad that you're doing so well. My doctor wasn't very supportive either once I told her that I was on a carnivore diet even though I'm the lightest I've been since I was 12 years old. My recent bloodwork looked good also, except for my cholesterol being higher than ideal (at least ideal to them). They ran a CT Scan Calcification Test and I came back 0. I had my cholesterol broken down by size and I was off the scale to the good side. And I feel better so I'm here for the long haul. Thanks for making your videos.
I‘lL bet it feels good to know that everything is ok after all those tests!
I am so glad to see you letting people know how much your health has improved with a Carnivore lifestyle.
Thanks, not enough people know about this diet. I’m happy to be sharing!
Yes, sugar addiction is a real thing. I’m struggling with it and have forever.
So well said, couldn’t agree more. You would think your doctor would be so excited that you’ve found something that is working for you and want to know more.
I’d think so too. I feel so subversive…
Hey Jay. You’re proof positive CARNIVORE works!!!!! Congrats
Way to go! LDL is stored in the belly fat and can be expected to rise while losing weight as that tissue is shed. Many studies in recent years reveal LDL is not the culprit to be feared vis-à-vis heart disease, but these have not trickled down to primary care providers yet. I had to email them to my provider. Keep on keeping on!
Thanks!
Jay - my last doc (2x my current weight), is against my diet (carnivore / ketovore) and wants me to do Mediterranean diet. But I have tried all different diets and found one that works. All the diets my then doc then recommended for me caused my bg to get worse, not better. Since starting ketovore 15 weeks ago, I have had these changes for the better: dropped cholesterol med, dropped one blood pressure med, pain in joints gone, sleep better, no more fatigue (was very low on heme iron), have dropped 10 lbs. presently weight 347. Goal is 190. I am type 2 diabetic. My last official A1C was 6.2. My app says it should be down to 6.0. My cardiologist created this diet for me and is supportive. My new doc is too. I am 55 yrs old.
Well, the proof is in the test results. We’re all different, and while the Mediterranean diet is fine for many people, it’s not the right diet for all of us. Sounds like you’re going in a good direction!
Good deal. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing! This is totally awesome.
Appreciate you sharing Jay. Very happy for you that things are improving so much for you. I will be doing the same type check up and blood work in January. I hope to see similar results. Based on how I feel I expect to. (I have been doing carnivore since May).
I have a feeling you’ll see an improvement too. Good luck!
Great progress .
Fantastic results. Thanks for sharing. It could be that your fatty liver is still clearing itself out (Gluconeogenesis) maybe?
That might be it. I’ll see how things are in a couple months…..
Well done man!
So happy for you. Be well, friend.
Thanks much!
Thanks 4 this update Jay. I will say it AGAIN. WE R WHAT WE EAT. Simple as that. Garbage in Garbage out. Goodness in, better results. Carnivore baby.🍗🍗🍗🍗😁
Great video, Jay! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Wow Jay, great numbers!
You had the last laugh with your doctor....😅
i've seen other carnivore vids with higher blood sugar on the meat diet. i think its the fact we have blown out our metabolism like you say. it may take a while for that to change. i have high cholesterol. i keep stopping meat eating because once a food addict always a food addict. ground beef especially literally triggers me. i cannot stop and eat in a window as you are able. i want to keep eating beef until the pot is empty even every few hours. i'm 277 have heart n thyroid disease. i'm afraid sometimes to push through and just eat as much meat as i want. i know younger carnivores did that and eventually they ate a lot less. but it seems you were able to only eat 2 meals right from the start.
Yes, but that first month was friggin’ hard! It got easier after 4 weeks. I totally binge on carb rich food, but meat seems to leave me sated, so I just eat it until I’m full. We are all different. Pay attention to what your body is telling you because really, that’s the only way you can know what’s right for you. And this can be hard because our bodies and metabolism are a bit haywire . Carnivore really really helped me, but you may need to make some modifications. Maybe you blew out your metabolism even worse than I did! I’m not a doctor so this isn’t a recommendation, it might help to keep your meat consumption under 2 - 2.5 lbs per day, spread out in any way that you feel comfortable, and make sure you’re getting enough fat. That was important for me. I’ll add a couple tablespoons of butter to my ground beef, and I’ll even eat a tablespoon of butter as a snack if I feel cravings. They say it’s especially good before bed. Good luck!
There is some info on UA-cam about why glucose can rise on Carnivore
I wish you would put him on a 2 week challenge, then he would understand more.
Ha! He’s thin though, so hard to argue with him….
the parameters the lab is offering are way off.. ldl should be 0-160.. not that it matters, LDL which is bad cholesterol is no issue.. they keep lowering the bar.. your triglycerides have come way down which is brill, they will continue to drop.. you watch
Thanks for the info. I think you’re right, thst the numbers will keep improving.
Great job! We;re about the same age and I need to lose about 40lbs to get to my best ever weight which is 180.... I weighted less when I was younger and as I got older (about 40) 180 was the highest I got and still felt great. Then it kept going up and here I am lol. So my goal is back to 180 at least. Have not started the CD yet because I'm being held back by my pantry lol. Before and during the Covid lock downs I spent a huge amount of $ to stock up on food (lots of canned food and baking stuff), Now my pantry is stuffed (still) and mentally I feel I must eat what I have, But I'm at my ends limit here in needing to do something about my health as I'm on a sliding downwards spiral fast, I did try the CD for a week a while ago and felt fantastic so for me I know it works. Mayne I should do a food donation (bigger than my normal), esp. now that Christmas is here. I was raised to always use what you have 1st, So I'm fighting this ingrained notion. Maybe it's all just another way for me to procrastinate lol. But hearing your success helps a lot and I thank you for the motivation!
Yep, make a big donation to a food bank and get rid of all that food. It's time to get started!
You might be able to return some to the store for store credit and buy meat, just don't say you've had it a long time and take small amounts to different stores.
The doctors just dont want to know the truth.
