Hi, sorry to hear you may have the same problem, I bought a complete unit from an e bay seller which included the full front wiper motor RHD and linkage. It turned out to be a relatively easy change over and so far it is working well. Hope you can get the noise issue sorted with yours. Best Regards Kenny
Sorry, just noticed this, I replaced the wiper motor and linkage. I bought the item complete from e bay at a cost of £30 plus postage and it had been removed from a 2015 model. An engineer from Hawco suspected that it was just the motor that was at fault but as the item I bought came as one I just replaced the motor and linkage together. Hope that this helps. Cheers
I have this same exact problem with my 2013 Jetta and it’s the most annoying thing to hear when it’s raining badly.

So what did you replace? Motor? Linkage? Both?
