    Great video. I just replaced the motors too but when Intested in intermittent settings, the wipers goes a little bit down, them up, then down, and then stops half way. Any clues why? By the way, on constant running settings it works fine but when turned off it still stops half way

      @@GremcoGarage from Florida! I wanted to change out my husband motor and felt I could do it with the help of your video. I always say oh this should be easy to him and he says things are never as easy as you make them seem to be lol! But I did it and so I wanted to comment and say thank you! My husband is appreciative as well.

      @@GremcoGarage Deltona, in between Daytona and Orlando. Took me about two hours. I’m a slow person in general but I almost stripped a screw because the bit I originally used was just a tad bit to small but found the proper one before it was to late. The hardest part for me was putting back the plastic cover. Hurt my hand trying to hit it back in. Once I did I check the wipers and realized I forgot to plug in the power source. So I had to deal with the plastic twice. But I did it!! Lol

      Thanks for the comment. Did you end up getting that wiper motor installed? How often do you work on cars in? What year was your mom’s car?

    Ok, what next?!?! Replaced it and the wipers still don't work. So bummed. Also checked the 7.5 fuse of the top row in the 8 spot.

    We replaced our wiper motor but now the wipers turn on automatically for about 30 seconds each time we start the car and the intermittent option on the wiper lever is not working. The wipers work in normal and slow mode, and in one time mode. Help....

    thanks man I just changed my motor wiper the jobs is done but the problem is run only one speed is that correct, have a doubt with spare. Please reply me when you have free time

    • @GremcoGarage
      @GremcoGarage  9 місяців тому

      You should have multiple speeds , if they worked prior to if failing you likely have a bad motor

    Of course I thought this would be easy. Got the 13mm nuts off the wipers and they are completely rusted and stuck on. Going to have to hit it with pb blaster and try again tomorrow I guess

      @GremcoGarage I haven't gotten the wiper arms off thats the problem. I got the nuts off easily but the arms are rusted onto the studs.

    • @GremcoGarage
      @GremcoGarage  11 місяців тому

      @zzygmuntowicz16 try the CPR they should come off relatively easy once you lube them up if needed

    What brand do you recommend? OEM dorsnt seem to be that good.

    • @GremcoGarage

      Me personally and I always do OEM everything my personal car has 462,000 miles on it. So I’d say it’s a tried true OEM test

      You also should go to a junkyard and just pull the motor yourself
