Gary, try planting white dutch clover over your lawn mixed with the grass. You'll have a green lawn all summer long with almost no watering. You won't have to fertilize either. When we hit 117 in Oregon last summer, everyone had brown lawns, up and down the highways were brown. My lawn was lush green minus the spots where the bunnies have been grazing.
Our split leaf grew more along the ground. Now it's growing toward the pool and it seems we have to cut the trunk. Ugh... such a beautiful plant. Ours is over 20 yrs. How did you get yours to grow like a tree?
Gary, absolutely gorgeous and spectacular plant!!❤
Thanks!
😮🤯 I am in Shock..WOW!! Amazing!!! I had no idea they would get that large in the wild

Why would someone let it go like that?
Is that thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum
yes
used to be classified with philodendron
Those aerial roots are invasive. Mine wrapped around the chimney and went through a screen window
