"There are good ships, and wood ships, and ships that sail the seas. But the best ships are friendships, and may they ever be." My favorite saying. Thank you for including it.
What a nice saying. Never heard that before
The fact it came out before July 4th, makes it even more special. Food does bring people together.
That it does
and with Brits non the less. You know the people we declared independence from 🤣🤣😂
The limeys were very humble and I appreciated that. America should get nothing but respect from them especially on this Sacred Day of July the 4th. God bless
Yep, we'll be back for you one day @@BigboiiTone

The most American man ever cooking British food. Awesome video, and great guests.
Thanks, they are for sure
Thanks Kent and Shannon for sharing your visitor's Mr H and friends family with us. It was truly a delightful day around there and much to share with everyone. We had a great day watching the fun you all shared today. Stay safe and keep up the great videos and the fun you share with us on your channel. Will tune in on your visitors channel and really hope they had a great time visiting the different ways food is prepared throughout America, have a safe journey. Fred.
America loves Kent because Kent loves America.
Thanks, we owe so much to those who gave us our freedom, Happy Independence Day

Dear Cowboy Kent, I grieved with you when hearing the news of the Beag. One of my own dogs is like 17 and she is about to cross over to the great Ranch in the Sky. I've heard of Sticky Toffee Pudding from some of the British Comedies
I have never ate any before but it looks really good though.🇺🇲🤠🇺🇲
I've been watching Mr H since he started pretty much. The little one wasn't even born. I think the Mrs was pregnant or maybe just before. Lockdown was a bit of a blur😂. He started out doing reactions.
They are truly good people
My Great, Great, Great Grandfather (Joseph Eleander) came to Galveston and then to Cedar Bayou back in 1866. He originally lived in Dover England and was British. He started the Eastern Star in Texas and has a Texas Placard on his grave. My DNA test shows I am 77% British.
That is great piece of history
My grandmother was Eastern Star, thank you..
Yay
You're a good guy, Mr. Rollins. Thank you for taking care of the H family the way we do it around here.
Sticky toffee pudding would definitely go down well with the cup of tea / cowboy coffee. It's a british classic that's been a favourite for over 100 years. A must have for a British pub menu or after a sunday roast at home. The contrast of dark / sticky / soft / hot / cold cream - a comfort food for sure.
I had sticky toffee pudding in Scotland. It is great that two of my favorite UA-cam channels. Have a collaboration.
We had a blast
Me too!! Loved it!
Wholesome battle of accents.
The Cockney & Cowboy
@@Advocate005 Aren't they from the southwest? Cockney is from the south east last time I was in England.
I loved this video. I'm an American expat living in the UK and love both countries. It was just wonderful to see Kent's reactions, and those of his guests, to the different food and drink. God bless you and yours, Kent, and you are welcome in our home here in Blighty anytime!
PS: One thing I do miss, incredibly much, is the sense of open space: miles and miles of miles and miles. I've never really been able to explain the vastness of the Midwest, the Great Plains, or the West in general, to my friends here in the UK.
Thanks Brother Kent!
This is a beautiful crossover. I will admit I was more excited to see Little Miss H playing with the dogs.
Excellent Kent. I watched the video they posted, that was great too, and it's obvious they completely enjoyed meeting you. I've been watching them for a while and I knew they were excited about this.
Loved this I used to watch Mr. H on you tube when his daughter wasn’t born yet ! So glad you got to meet Our favorite cowboy !

Awesome collab! Thank y’all for taking the time and making the effort to make this happen. I love both these channels
Glad to see you happy again Kent

I'm not trying to be insensitive but I always thought y'all lived in Oklahoma, next door to the Texas Panhandle. I am very sorry you lost your home to the wild fires. Keep on keeping on is the only way to get through tough times. I'm sure you and your bride have what it takes to come out on top.

No way Two of my favorite UA-camrs in one video this is what UA-cam should be about
I think that I'l miss the Major. I grieve you loss, Cowboy Ken. He was a good dog.
It was the Beagle, we sure miss him
Cowboy Kent, I grew up in the very rural midwest. From dawn till well after dark, my momma always had a giant pot of coffee on the back burner.
It was the old percolator coffee pot. That way when family and friends stopped in throughout the day or evening she could quickly offer them some coffee lol. Or she could throw a splash into her gravy or other recipes. The aroma of percolating coffee in the house always smelled so good. Too funny though that with the part for the water and percolator was attached, that giant pot looked like a small pot belly stove. 😂
This one was every bit as good as the collab video from Mister H and friends. All of you really seemed to enjoy each others company a great deal and it shows in the video. You're all GOOD PEOPLE.....

I did the bloomin onion recipe. it's difficult to cut correctly if you're a newbie, but once you get it right, it's delicious.

What a wholesome video
This video makes me happy I've been a hugh fan of Kent Rollins for years and you two for the last years❤❤
English guy here I did not know that treacle and molasses are the samething Edit: Looked it up they aren't quite the same but It's a pretty small difference treacle is a bit sweeter and molasses is a bit thicker.
Back Bacon isn't the same as Canadian Bacon but im guessing you couldn't find it in the US, a full English would also normally include Black Pudding but that was also probably hard to find in the US.
Yep its not at small little grocery store
Bacon is complicated. The stuff Americans call Canadian bacon, Canadians call ham. There is nothing a Canadian would call Canadian bacon. We have back bacon in Canada, we also (usually) call it pea meal bacon, it's the same cut as British back bacon, but the cure is slightly different. English back bacon is cured the same way as streaky bacon, Canadian back bacon (peameal bacon) usually has a different cure than our streaky bacon, which we just call bacon.
You can find English back bacon in America, but usually only in big cities. There was a store in Las Vegas that carried it, along with a half aisle of other English products like Marmite, Heinz beans, HP sauce and Spotted Dick. It's not something you'd find in stores in smaller cities but I did try it, along with the Marmite AND the Spotted Dick. The back bacon was delish, as was the Spotted Dick (though a bit dry from the can), but the Marmite needed a lot of getting used to, like more than two weeks of getting used to. I gave up after the two weeks. I wish I had tried the HP Sauce but the prices were really crimping my budget.
@@charliedavis8894 yeah I don't really like Marmite either you can cook with it but I'd never eat it on toast.
I absolutely loved this video! 😊 i also loved your t-shirt Mrs H 🤠👍 I haven't got a clue about that bacon though but it does look good 😋 I would also love to try proper Cowboy Coffee. Honestly, all that English tea, cowboy coffee, breakfast & pudding has made me hungry 😂
Depending where your area in America if you're in area of hard water table ie ground water comes through limestone need try Yorkshire Tea Hard water bags its only Tea manufactured for Hard water, in North Yorkshire my county in UK our water is Hard with mineral content the Hard Water Tea bags make massive difference really fabulous cup of tea.
I never thought I'd see this crossover when I first started watching both of y'all's channels. I've been waiting weeks for these videos.
And it's cool to see international visitors in our "flyover" state of Ooooklahoma. I randomly encountered a Brit at 3am one time, working a gas station just south of Muskogee. I was taken back by her accent and listened to her complain about her workers that didn't come in. I think that's the only time I encountered someone with that accent in person, and was shocked that it was in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma.
loved seeing you on bbq showdown kent

Chef Rollins, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS VIDEO❤❤. My son in law is from Liverpool, England. I agree, sometimes it is very hard to understand their Broug. 💕🙏🙏

What a great video to have the "H's" drop by camp.
Yes it was
Love it. Makes me want to come back down Hollis way and have some home cooking.
I loved that Kent - really really enjoyed it.
They are sure good people
Fantastic collab Kent and Shan. Being Canadian and having relatives from the UK who come over every year I'm used to their eccentricities when it comes to food but you did a great job in bringing it all to us, your viewers. For the record however, I have never seen "Canadian bacon" in a Canadian grocery store and what Mrs. H referred to as "backbacon" is a completely different cut here as well. It's peameal bacon (equally confusing because it is coated in cornmeal) of the pork loin after it has been pickled. Delicious. Peameal is wonderful with a little squeeze of lemon juice on it right at the end of cooking. Now you've gone and made me hungry all over again! Nose scratches for Maj.
The good thing about a full English breakfast is you don't really need to use authentic versions of any of the ingredients, the better you can make any of them the better the whole meal will be, your cowboy baked beans would do just as good or better, the only thing I'd change there is to have more sauce on the beans to go with everything else, if you don't have that I would be reaching for some ketchup, those canned baked beans are pretty much cooked already so you only need to heat them up, cooking them more makes them taste better but you lose some of the sauce.
Also, there's alot of other ingredients you could have with it, one missing there was black pudding, people also have some sliced tomato, mushrooms, sometimes some fried onions and different seasoning to go with the other ingredients, the eggs can be scrambled or fried, the bacon can be any bacon really, I think that was just their taste.
It's basically just a big meal to keep you going throughout the day.
Also, that sticky toffee pudding is very dense/rich it goes well with a tea or coffee to balance it out, especially if you don't have any ice cream, cream or milk to go with it, same could be said for alot of British puddings.
I visited the UK awhile back. Went to Scotland for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tatoo, which I highly recommend should you be so inclined. Couldn't understand a word the Scots were saying, which reminded me of that famous quote by George Benard Shaw “The British and the Americans are two great peoples divided by a common tongue". But the people were so kind and the food and beer was delicious.
That was wonderful!
Thank you

In 85 I was in the Navy and our ship pulled into Portsmouth England. I had some of these treats with hot tea. NOW, I know how they are made. I WILL try this!
Thank you all for sharing.
Such a shame you can’t get Black Pudding (Blood Sausage) in the States, it’s lovely.
Fish and chips next week mate.
loved the vid as a scotsman we call it a fry up and we would have the same but we would have tattie scone ( potatoe scones ) the irish call them farralls and black pudding ( blood pudding)
Does the variety of date matter? Dome are sweet and others like degĺet noor are significantly less so.
I’d go for sweeter ones as the treacle we use here is a bit sweeter than molasses so it will give you a better overall taste
We may give each other hard times but its all joke we love eachother really 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Sounds like Malcolm from The Andy Griffith Show 😅 Pip Pip Cheereo 😋
