Mr. Kent, I'm still misty-eyed about Beags. You're such a good man and gave Beags the best life ever. Thank you sir and I can't wait to try my steaks with this recipe!
Great grilling tips. Since i retired about 8 years ago, been grilling in the back yard, tomahawk steaks are fantastic, being a retired navy Chief Petty Officer on the busy decks of The George HW Bush aircraft carrier, I ended volunteering my time during the Steel Beach BBQ where I got to BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs and most cuts of meats that was delivered to the air craft carrier, it was with great pride and enjoyment to cook for my fellow sailors and their families during Memorial Day and Independence day celebrations.
Isn’t it wonderful to be able to do things like that? You get to pass down a little history with the food too! Thank you for your service. Dad and Uncle were both Navy men in WWII. “Don’t join the army!” Their great grandpa told them. “At least in the Navy you won’t be knee-deep in mud.” 🤣

So good to see your other puppers drawn to steak. I don’t eat steak often, but when I do it must: be an excellent cut from a skilled butcher, be temp probed, seasoned correctly, grilled or stovetop in cast iron, rested, sliced across the grain. Thank you for your videos!
This is another great video today with ribeye steak and cowboy butter that definitely sounds really good right now, it's 96 degrees down here around Ardmore and I just want to say stay cool up in your part of Oklahoma take care and God Bless You and your family.🇺🇸🤠🐕🇺🇸
I haven't been able to afford ribeye steak for awhile now. Miss those steak dinners, but when one steak runs almost $20 and up, chicken and pork are my options these days. Ty Kent for all your content.
Try a chuck steak or a chuck roast. I like mine thick-cut so, most likely a roast. It’s what my Mom would make us as a treat every now and then! Cheaper than fancy steaks and more flavor too! (Just a little bit more chewy). And that’s probably a GOOD thing because it most likely has more collagen in it to help with bones and joints.
My dad when he would cook out on the grill would soak the wood mostly Hickory, mesquite, or pecan in water over night and get the coals good and hot then through a chunk of what ever wood he was using for the smoke on to the coals and the water in to wood slowed it down from burning added a little steam in to the smoker and took less of the smoke wood to get the flavor from the wood. Some of the best smoked sunfish was when he used some hickory in this manner and basted the fish with garlic butter. He cooked it in an old cast iron potbelly stove converted to a smoker. I remember he had the stove propped up on one corner with a brick cause the stove was missing one of it's legs. He also used some bricked up on end to hold a grate on the inside of the stove that he put what ever he was cooking on.
This is information Cowboy Kent has given before and it works like a charm. My wife doesn’t like steaks warming up on the counter so I don’t do that but I still get great results!

I tell you when it comes to cooking steaks Gordon Ramsay better retire cuz Kent is absolutely out of the world when it comes to steaks this man could feed God himself and he would be even more pleased than anything else
This is very regional. Dad pretty much did the same cooking technique. The flavors that Mom would use are very different. These flavors are very cowboy. I would describe how Mom did it as Italian flavors. Dad always used hard wood, no smoke wood. Oak and Maple I think. He did get a hold of an apple tree that he used for a couple years for other stuff besides steak. It is interesting to see it done the same, as dad, but different.
Thsnk you for the awesome video. I suggest wiping the breadboard with a wet cloth and then put your cling film/ glad wrap/plastic wrap on the board and it will stick down and behave itself.

Cowboy Kent Rollins for me he is the traditional patriotic chef of this great nation... I call him The Great National Patriot Chef! Good Bless this Man and his Wife...
the BEAG is having fun since he crossed the Rainbow 🌉
Yep lot of rabbits to trail
My husband and I have had beef tallow to put on our steaks as they rest after cooking. It is so good and so simple.
I know this most have been. A hard video to do without the Beags. Missed not seeing that sweet head pop up over the table. He was my favorite. Will miss you beags❤. The steaks look so good. Thank you for the cooking tips. God bless ya'll.
Hey Cowboy Kent, I am a huge fan of your channel! Thanks for the awesome cooking videos! If I had one request that I might make it would be that you show us how to make cheap cuts of beef into a delicious barbecued treat. Thank you very much! God bless you and the United States of America!
It’s 180 degrees out of phase from what most health professionals say, but a carnivore diet has stunningly improved my cholesterol and triglycerides.
Kent, Praying for y’all with your loss, it’ll get easier but you’ll never forget, Love and Prayers from central Fl. Brother!
Miss seeing beagle trying to sneak a bite . Rest in peace little bud
Those Tomahawk Ribeyes look and smell so good they'll almost make you cry. And that cowboy butter... That there is heaven on earth. My, oh my those look good. Sure appreciate the instruction and tips. Godspeed Beag.
I tell you when it comes to cooking steaks Gordon Ramsay better retire cuz Kent is absolutely out of the world when it comes to steaks this man could feed God himself and he would be even more pleased than anything else
I really appreciate you sharing this video! I’ll be honest, I got pretty teary eyed not seeing the Beag. God bless you!!!
I'm the first one
Hi Kent, you can also wrap the butter in bakingpaper. Great videos. Thank you from the Old country
Glad your doing well. Keep cooking , God bless you and yours.
We are sure trying it has been a rough two weeks losing the Beagle and our home in Ruidoso
Those are some amazing looking steaks. Ribeye IS my all time steak favorite. Thanks for sharing the tips.
Thsnk you for the awesome video.
I suggest wiping the breadboard with a wet cloth and then put your cling film/ glad wrap/plastic wrap on the board and it will stick down and behave itself.
South/East wind. Cowboy Kent, you are a good man and Shannon, your the best. Peace to the Beag and all of you.
Just heard a short synopsis of your life Kent , and what a sweet , heart warming love story. Thank God for your recovery. Happy trails to you. 👍❤️👍
Hi Kent, I love this recipe. I have a helpful hint for you. Keep your Plastic wrap in the freezer. It will unroll so easily and be really easy to handle.
We love you Kent, we love you Beag. A corner of my steak goes to both of you. May God Bless us All.

Small World, Mr. Self. I hope you get to feeling better. My late grandparents, Clifford and Mary Artman, were from Rome. (I miss them dearly.) No telling who we bump into in this old world. 😊
Wow, it is a small world isn't it. Sorry about your grandparents. Life is so very short. I lost mine as well years ago. But, they are in heaven so I'll see them again someday as Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Thank you for sharing that. Know you miss them dearly. Hope you have a great rest of the Day and God Bless you!
