Frigidaire 5.0 Cu. Ft. Chest Freezer

I need a bigger freezer than the 3.0 Cu Ft freezer we already have so I bought this 5.0 Cu Ft Chest Freezer from Wal-mart.

I took mine out of the box but there's something sharp under the freezer. Poked a hole in my vinyl. I am not physically able to get on the floor and look under it to see what is under there. Someone said it had wheels but it doesn't. Help

Yes, there are wheels under the freezer. There metal plating under the freezer to provide support for the unit. There are sharp edges on the sides of the freezer but I had no issue with them. Transport and move the freezer according to the instructions in the owner manual will prevent damage to the freezer and your floor.

I got this same one few days ago and seem to be working ok but the outside sides get warm when it running, is this normal?

It is normal. A refrigerator or freezer works by extracting the heat from the inside to the outside walls. You can touch the side of your refrigerator in the kitchen and you will feel warm whenever the compressor is running.

I put the freezer in the living room/dinner room area. I can hear it when it is running during late night hours. You can barely hear it during the day due to other noises.
