Nice review, Mikus! No bs to make it longer than necessary, real life examples... wish every reviewer out there took a page from your book and followed it!

I bought a Molus x100 recently and this video helps me better understand it. Thank you for that. In your experience is the light EXTREMELY bright even at 1% power? My light is so bright at 1% that I almost think I might have a faulty unit.
Glad to hear this video was helpful!
I wouldn't say it is extremely bright at 1%. It seams proportionally normal. Well it is much brighter than a smartphones flashlight, but still not like crazy bright.
@@MikusAusters Much appreciated! I tried to use it at an event video shoot a couple weeks ago and it was so bright at 1% that I had to turn it off because it was bothering the event guests. I think I might have a defective unit. Otherwise this light has been great in other circumstances.
Yeah... from what you are saying, it sounds like it is too bright. That's a shame. Well, maybe before you get it replaced, try updating the firmware to see if that gets things sorted. I am not saying that it will work like that, but just an idea.
@@MikusAusters Thanks again!
Or you can drop down to the g60
Hi !!! According to your opinion, which is the best light for journalistic stand up , who struggles with the sun light ?
I am still getting into that topic and looking for options. But from my recent tests, the X100 won't be powerful enough, especially during bright sunny day. It can help for some products close-up shots or to light a portrait even, but not to light a person entirely. Because then to have the light out of the frame you would have to bring it back. Plus it would have to be used on 100% which means you have to be sure you won't need it for a long period of time.
How do you activate music function from the app?
I don't think you can. I activated it with a button on the fixture itself.
love your voice
Thanks!
Can i use it as a ring light for tattooing for about 4-5 hrs a day?
I wonder if I have used it for 4-5 hours straight. Probably had little pauses and turned it off in between. And that is when using it with the DC power adapter, because the batteries definitely won't last that long. I guess if you are looking for a ring light, then you should just get that. With only the reflector, the X100 light will be harsh with sharp shadow lines. But the ring light makes a softer more defused light straight out of the box. Sure, you could use the X100 with adapters and soft boxes to get the light more softer and defused, but that will take up much more space and in the end cost you more as well. Very important note - I am not a tattoo artist and I am just guessing what could work better. :D
More dancing please.
Finally, someone appreciates the moves. 😬
