This is what I hope lights start turning into. I shoot weddings and I'm trying to keep my kit manageable, and lighting is the biggest space and weight burden I have. I'm currently using three Amaran COB 60x and one Lightstorm 60x. They function great, and although those are all considered "small" and "portable" lights, I would love to cut them in half.

100W? This is insane 🤯. I just got the M40 and it gets noticeably hot in seconds after turning it on. The M40 is already strong, just not stronger than the sun 😅

Looks like a great addition for a small light kit that can use USB-C PD power banks. Been following a kickstarter project Slite that promised shipping since last July but this looks more legit.

Hey mark! I have a question though it's not related to this video. Why it's too saturated after color space tranform in DaVinci Resolve when using HLG3. Any fix or tweaks?

In my detailed test, I found that not only the color temperature of 1-3% output is abnormal, but also 1-7%.
For example, 5% output 6300k is cool white light, but when adjusted to 6400k it will become warm white light.
Do you also have this problem?
My x100 is using Firmware V1.7.8
Yes - the light is not displaying accurate kelvin in the lower percentages. Zhiyun said they are going to fix the color temp problem in the lower percentages in the next update.

I want the same light with 200 watts. I dont mind if it is a bit bigger. 100 watts is fine but with 200 watts you can do almost everything.

Also unrelated, but are you going to review the SmallRig Advanced Compact V-Mount Battery Mounting System 4063 that I keep getting bombarded with ads for? Seems like it might be a good fit for on the go footage with the ZVE-10.
Zhiyun will release more lights soon I am sure - don't know if this one will come in RGB. Haven't heard anything from SmallRig yet - I'll take a look
I’m concerned about it’s light output. 3881Lux at 1 meter. The Godox SL-60w is rated at 4100Lux.
I use the SL-60W and I’ve been wanting a more powerful but smaller/lightweight light. 😕
It’s very hard to trust those ratings as the conditions, and modifiers have a lot to do with it. But I would suggest getting the smallrig RC 120d as a step up from the SL-60w. the bicolour lights will have significantly less output
Can it be used for a wedding photography shoot? To use with a trigger on the camera etc?

yes - look at the channel for some budget options. the Godox SL60W is bigger, but it’s a great light for much less.

Can you talk about the power brick plz? That seems to be larger and heavier than the light itself.
The power brick is great. It actually acts like a comfortable grip. It weighs about as much as the light, but the light is very light-weight so that only makes sense, The whole unit together is still very small and very light. There's nothing like it
other youtubers have tested it and its not 100w so stop promoting scam marketing products as amazing...
it is 100 watts. Markus Pix measuring brightness is not the same as wattage. Brightness output will depend on a lot of things like if a light is bi-colour, what reflector is used, surface area spread, modifiers, and more. Be careful who you listen to, check the facts for yourself and try not to accuse people of scams based on what a youtuber says.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis seems that you're trying to get out of this but you're only making it worse by basically saying that its a light that uses 100w of power but can't output the same amount of brightness...
I was just being polite. Wattage does not determine brightness. Markus Pix measured a bicolour light vs a daylight balanced light. Bi-colour lights have roughly half the brightness output because they have half tungsten and half-daylight LED’s . Markus also used different reflectors. He seems like a nice guy but he is wrong. if he had measured the amaran 60x (the bicolour one) against the X100, he would have discovered the x100 is brighter. Many people pointed this out to him in his comments section. Try not argue for other people who are giving misinformation. Like I said - all the info is there for you to find for yourself. You should engage with people with curiosity instead of accusations. Ask questions if you have them and you may discover new things. But insulting people is not going to make them want to respond to you.
I’d much rather have this on hand than a certain noisy inflatable monstrosity
