FILM DESCRIPTION:
Thornton Melon (Rodney Dangerfield) is concerned that his son Jason (Keith Gordon) is unsure whether to go to college, so the uneducated self-made millionaire encourages him by signing up as a student as well. As Jason tries to establish himself among his peers and make the diving team, Thornton falls for a pretty professor (Sally Kellerman) and gets others do his schoolwork for him. When the suspicious dean (Paxton Whitehead) finds out, Thornton needs to show he can get by on his own.

I always thought that Robert Downey Jr's character had alot of balls talking to Zabka's character the way he did here, considering how much bigger he was. But, it is funny the way Zabka blames Melon for it, "I won't forget this, Melon"

It was wonderful poring over the course catalog, full of hope and excitement for what the future would bring.

The movies from this era are SO MEMORABLE. Not like now. The movies Hollywood makes nowadays are all so generic, bland and forgettable. It's just sad.
Saw this at the drive-through, double feature. With Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Great movie!

I don't get why this got so many likes..they're in college in this movie, not high school. William Zabka was 21 in this. So he literally fits the age demographic that he's portraying....
