Used to float fish for ballan wrasse off the rocks just south of Port Logan in the late 70s during hot summer days when I were a lad. Kept then in a rock pool then released them. Great memories.

Hi mate, we are all good thanks. Great to be back out on the water. The weather has been truly awful for the last 6 months! I hope you and yours are well and good luck in your tournament! 👍🎣
Enjoy your channel and being a geordie myself, nice to see, looks like your having great fun😊 I do a lot of fishing from Eyemouth and I just bought a honda honwave from marine chandlery in north shields and getting a 15hp honda 4 stroke outboard of them on the 31st January and be fishing Beadnell, seahouses and Eyemouth, anyhoo tight lines m8
Sounds like you’re gonna have a cracking summer mate! I love it up Eyemouth and St Abbs way - North Berwick is another belter but Beadnell I think is my banker spot. Tight lines pal 👍🎣
Fantastic to have you back out, since your last video due to family circumstances I've had to sell my set up but will live my kayak fishing vicariously through you till I get back up and running again 👍 All the best and hope the weather gods smile upon you 😁
Thanks very much it was great to be back in the water. I will try my best to give you an excellent vicarious kayak life until you’re up and running buddy! Hopefully it won’t be too long 👍🎣

First drop, second lift.........AND we're back.😂 Absolutely brilliant first session Chris, including the sunshine, the calm sea. Happy days pal. Arthur.

Yeah I think they might be quite useful. I had a day at Beadnell yesterday where I didn’t use them and it was non stop but when it was really quiet at Whitley on Sunday I stuck one on and took a few fish. I think might be worth keeping a packet in the box for when the fishing is hard 👍
I’ve been over it once and marked it Steve but I changed my fish finder this year and my old card wasn’t compatible so I struggled to find it this time! Thoroughly enjoyed it though. Bodes well for later in the year 😊 tight lines mate 🎣

And then you drop in a wonderful backdrop that was quite stunning. Look forward to my first outing, have only manged 5 beach sessions this year due to the constant storms. Hoping se get a better summer....best wishes, Kevin

Hi Chris. I've kayak fished many times this area usually by trolling artificial sandeels, from the pier up to clanyard bay. Carefull with N/W winds there. Once took me over an hour to paddle 100 yards around cairnwellan head back into port Logan Bay after a sudden wind blew in from Ireland. I'd landed my pb pollack that morning, but it was washed out of the kayak along with lots of gear. As soon as I rounded the point the wind and tide took be back in really fast, but at one point I didn't think I'd make it.
