FUEL Series 30 Min Cluster Sets Upper Body Workout | Day 22

  • One set of a compound exercise, or isolation towards the end…followed by 3 mini-sets of a complementary exercise to really turn up the intensity! The need for focus, moving with intention and control heightens as we progress!
    A flow hitting the back, biceps and shoulders pop up throughout the workout too which I know you will enjoy!
    The timer will be varied during it comprising of longer sets and cluster sets! There will be the main exercise with a duration of 60 seconds followed by 20 seconds of rest before moving into a ‘complimentary’ movement in cluster format with the timer being 20 seconds of work with 20 seconds rest in between and performing this cluster set 3 times in total!
    There is a staple within today’s session and it will appear 3 times throughout the session. It will be 60 seconds in duration each time it appears! It is a flow sequence and for this, I will be using my ‘medium’ weights today which are 2 x 8kg for your reference!

    I loved the staple in this session! The combination of the smooth transitions, aiming for that precise movement and controlling that curl on the negative is exactly why I love a flow!
    I am sure you will agree with me that the first 20 seconds of the cluster sets feel so much easier than the last…the intensity definitely grows!
    There isn’t a muscle not challenged today…and I hope you feel very proud after this session!

    As a 15 year old girl, these workouts have done so much for me. They have switched up my mindset to the point where I don't care how I look, I just care how I feel. I feel amazing. I'm so proud of myself for staying consistent with these and I can't wait to interact with more workout series. I feel healthier than ever. I love these workouts ong!

    Isn’t it incredible how day after day Caroline keeps producing unique, innovative, exciting workouts for us to do! Today we have a new format yet again...and doesn’t it look brilliant with the long exercise followed by a mini cluster! The staple looks so interesting too with its “flow” movement! I’m really excited to do this...and like Caroline I’ll be using my 8 kg weights! Have a great workout everyone! Matthew

    LOVED this! It really flew by with the staple. Loved feeling the extra back & biceps burn on the staple after the curl & rear delt fly set! That finisher was super challenging -- I was able to keep going without stopping, but just barely; my muscles were collapsing at the end! Definitely one I'll come back to!

    What a fabulous workout! I loved this. Didn't even look at the completion bar before halfway appeared which is unheard of 😁. Just perfect. Fuel is one of the best series I've ever done.

    I think this just might become one of my favorite upper body sessions! Such a good format with a nice flow staple and it burned so good! Those arc raises are always tough and I was so happy to see the rear delt flyes. And I loved loved the finisher! Thank you Caroline!💕

    How Many 100s of Cx workouts have I done now 🤔 but this has to be my all time favourite 😍. Used 20kg for the Back and Chest ( 2 x 20kg for Diamond Press 🥵). The format was something else loved the long set into the 3 shorter sets which really did burn. Used 10kg DBs for the Shoulders and Bicep work and 7.5kg DBs for the lighter work. Awesome Session 👌 Thanks Caroline loved it 😀

    All finished, and I loved it. I might have been sweating as much as yesterday’s leg day which was also great. I really enjoyed the staple and finisher combo. Did the add-on too so now my biceps are toast. I ended up using 5 different DB weights for this workout today with the wide range of exercises and timer demands. Til tomorrow! I think Caroline promised us glute band work tomorrow so I’m really looking forward to that.

    I really like how challenging it ALWAYS is - of course, I am struggling a lot and sometimes slow down and drop the weights as always CG says :)) yet I like the feeling that I am doing something challenging for my body and muscles and this makes me feel so good, come back to her workout all the time. Not to mention that it's her actual workout and seeing CG also struggling (with heavier weights than mine, of course, hehe), I always feel like I am not the only one struggling, and also this makes me think of so many people doing this together all around the WORLD! ^^ Thank you, Caroline. I've been following your workouts and channels now for + 2 years and I am so honored that I found your channel so early you are the same as the way you were when I first found you, dedicated, authentic, hard-working, and motivational (and more). Also, your workout and your style (like it's for strength not for aesthetic physique, etc) made me fix my distorted attitudes towards workouts overall and even a negative mindset about my body. Now I work out for myself and my health (just in general), not really thinking about how I LOOK that much and I don't blame too much at all even if I miss working out for days, etc (before I was really harsh on myself) because now I really do know that I can come back anytime. It's all because of you. Sometimes hearing your voice from Q&A videos or just watching your workout videos before night motivates me again and again whenever I feel lost. I don't know whether you read these comments or not, yet I want to say thank you and thank you. I really do wish you health and happiness all. ^^

    I love these mini sets!! Caroline is so innovated, talented and just brilliant! Sometimes I have a battle in my head fighting whether or not to workout.… I always am glad that I do the workout. It makes me feel accomplished, challenged and rewarded. I’m sure this one would be the same too! Look forward to doing this tomorrow. “Let’s go!”

    Caroline, I really enjoy the staple movement or any kind of flow movement that you previously shown us. It just really taught me to learn how to synchronise each movements altogether gracefully, like a smooth flow. Like to learn/watch how you make all the staple movement together seems so easily.     I must mention about leg day yesterday Caroline!! That was such an another brilliant session which left me feeling so amazing!! Your workouts are truly exceptional.     Happy Tuesday Girvanators, I love upper body workouts 🥰 I also love the color Caroline is wearing today, this is so cheering up 💙💙😊 Have a wonderful workout , and listen carefully to the musics playing, maybe you will notice one that you particularly like 😁
    Edit: I did this workout very early in the morning but can only comment now 🙂 I loved it, it was quite challenging, especially the part with the 15 kg dumbbells at the beginning, but I felt it less intense than yesterday’s workout….😅 I was happy we did not have any push ups in this one 😜 My favorite music starts at 90% REVENANT HEYSON

Io per fortuna ho la possibilità di allenarmi al mattino presto e con l'aria condizionata, ma è dura ugualmente.... Oggi ho già fatto i glutei.... Oddio, quelle ripetizioni bodyweight sembravano non finere più 😅... Ottimo allenamento anche questo mercoledì! L'hip trust, per quanto lo ami, è sempre molto tosto, più che altro per la banda elastica che Caroline ci fa usare (lei ci tiene moltissimo.... Remember... Push Push those knees!... Ti fa davvero piangere ma quanto lavorano i nostri muscoli!!!!).... Tu come ti trovi? Ti piace l'hip trust?

      Fiorellina eccomiii! 🌸 Ho finito adesso 😅 ho aggiunto anche 20 di calestenico così passa la paura🙈 oggi dalle mie parti si stava decisamente meglio ma ieri...un inferno...calcola che abito in piena campagna dove il fresco generalmente non manca mai ma ieri è stato un delirio... in serata è persino venuta una tempesta che ha spazzato tantissimi alberi...il caos!!!.. ma almeno oggi si è rinfrescato.🙏 In estate in realtà anch'io potrei allenarmi di mattino presto, cosa che tendenzialmente facevo...ma ultimamente sto diventando pigrona e dormo di più...oioi sarà la vecchiaia 😂 comunque la lezione di oggi è stata strepitosa e aggiungerei una delle più toste che Caroline ci abbia proposto fino ad ora. Per quanto riguarda gli hip trust diciamo che li faccio senza problemi, oggi ho usato 26 kg. Ovviamente non posso dire che adesso sono fresca come una rosa ma li faccio abbastanza tranquillamente...A me la cosa che strazia di più sono gli hamstrings lift, hold, pulse e chi più ne ha più ne metta...sono in assoluto gli esercizi che odio di più... la mia bestia nera!!! 🦿☠️😅

    Thank you Caroline! Tough Upper body and arms - shoulders got to cry a bit more than other muscles. Front raises activated chest muscles as well. Such a great workout 🤩 loved the non stop finisher👍💪 upper body is pumped and strong, soreness is slightly kicking in too🤫🤩👑💎👑

    Oh my god Caroline!!!! What an amazing workout!! There is something so special about the Fuel series, this is the first time a am able to keep being consistent and on schedule. The duration, the structure of the workouts is amazing. I especially loved today’s structure.

    After 2 years training with Caroline, I took some time running, then a month at the gym unguided, a few weeks on minor moving, and now I’ve done two months of Pilates to address weaknesses in my spine and joins and knees - and now I feel so ready to train with Caroline a few times a week mixed with the Pilates I really need for overall health.

    This was an incredibly a tough one. You'll know how strong you are or getting. 💪 I know we all felted Caroline's pain .     Caroline - this is one of my favorite upper body workouts that you have put out. I focused on slowly lowering the weights and ooof! It was a great challenge. Loved the music for this workout too!!

    Fantastic arm day!! I struggle with dips but got through it today. My triceps are strong in theory but when put to the test they fall apart. Will continue working on this until I can conquer it!

    I love your fun workouts! I recently returned to upper body weights.( I have no left arm, lats, pecs, or intercostals on my left side.)
