@@EverydayAquarist It is my understanding and experience from guppies, temp. determines sex with live bearers. I had the same issue with guppies till I turned down the temp. Never hurts to do your own research though.

Why don't you sell some of your excess macroalgae online? Lots of people around the world are interested in buying some, but can't get hold of any, especially the rarer species of red algae.
