I've watched a few of your videos and just subscribed. Your videos are so detailed and straight to the point. I just bought the hygger hg 999 and it's an excellent light for the price. I just bought red root floaters from aquarium gardens and im so excited to see how the light grows them. Your video about floating plants was the video I needed to see. Keep up the amazing videos
Thanks...looks promising. There is another I'm looking at. the HG028, has bluetooth. Hard to find here in Canada atm. holding off until I can see reviews on that one.
Would you be up for buying and trying the susanoo led 10w? Is a bulb light with very good par in strength. Is a bulb that was made for macroalgea after alot of testing. Is created with help of ichistarium and barrenplantlights or what was called. Highly suggest check it out
I have a 6 foot aquarium enclosed with 3 lids to make it cat proof, therefore i had to adjust the brackets so they could slide further over the light to rest on 2 glass cross beams under the lids. The downside is that the light controller is very short on the lamp, so the cable should have been 1 foot longer. Other than that, the brichtness and colors are exelent.
Can u take the stand of this light I like the the light they don't make one wide enough for my tank I would just rest it on the braces of my tank will the left hand clip on piece fit over the remote to remove it
❤Please keep in mind: at least as of 2020, lumens are *not* a standardized measurement - I used to work in an outdoor hiking gear shop and whenever we sold headlamps we had to caution people that 100 lumens in one brand would not necessarily also be 100 lumens in another. (I hope that maybe by now this has changed but I have no idea. I left the outdoor gear industry at the start of the pandemic.) I really really appreciate your light reviews! Is there any way you could do a video showing how these lights look against corals that flouresce? I recently bought the Nicrew SkyLED because I liked the digital controller (I thought it might be more livable for me since I came from a Fluval Nano Marine - I couldn't afford a bigger Fluval light,) dead convinced somehow that the fact that it had blue LEDs meant actinic, but alas, it doesn't have actinic LEDs at all, so now I have to get me some actinic light bars to complement it so that I can see my corals flouresce again. (Yeahh I am not impressed. I wish there would have been clearer language on the listing in regards to whether actinic lights were present or not. I really miss seeing my corals in their full colourful glory!) (Maybe I should explain why I couldn't afford a fancy light? Anyway, I had a disaster caused by my two year old cat jumping on my Fluval Evo 13.5's acrylic lid which left it wedged in the glass, putting strain on it. Because my irritating family chose to leave the lid in place - so that I could witness what my naughty cat had done (que furious eyeroll) instead of correcting it, my aquarium burst. I had to use all of my Christmas money to buy a new tank and I bought a 30 gallon. Moral of this story? KIN CAN BE EXTREMELY ANNOYING. Especially because they were more concerned about nearby random inanimate possessions during the disaster than they were for my LIVING ANIMALS. I managed to save everything but my damselfish, but man, I'm gonna be grumpy about that for quite a while!)
Hello sir! I have a silly-deep tank (about 30 inches), so I am looking for all the lumens I can find... what's weird though is that the box in your video it says 4120 lumens, but on amazon and anywhere else I can find the hg-076, it says 3332 lumens for the 48W/48 inch version of the light... colour me confused! Do you know what is going on there?
I Literally Just Purchased This Identical Hygger Light And Placed It On Top Of My 55 Gallon Aquarium This Past Weekend. I Found Nothing Confusing At All About That Control. I Didn't Even Read The Instructions, And I Had Everything About That Control Figured Out In A Matter Of Minutes.
I like that it shows what brightness we're at.

It's very good I've been using it for a month it's amazingly cheap and great for growing plants with nice bt functions like the other premium brands
Does anyone know how to reset that light and set up 24/7 mode? I have tried to follow the instructions, but no luck.

Do you think it would be possible to keep lps healthy??
if you select the Blue would the light be suitable for a reef tank? Or is that too simplistic?
The light would be fine for soft corals and macroalgae I'm sure

Have had the light a few days now and can''t get any of the timings to work.
So i look forward to your video showing us how its done.
