Thank you, Lexus, for giving me the opportunity to test drive the impressive 2023 Lexus LS500 AWD FSport. The car's Atomic Silver exterior and red interior perfectly complemented our emotion for this overnight girls' trip. With our group comprising ladies who individually own various prestigious brands like Corvette, Audi, BMW, Volvo and Lexus, as well as myself with a X350 SUV, we set off on a memorable journey to the historic town of Flagstaff, Arizona.
Throughout the three-hour drive from Phoenix to Flagstaff, the Lexus LS500 impressed all of us with its remarkable features. As three ladies sat comfortably in the back seat, they appreciated the generous legroom and supreme comfort. The car's spaciousness allowed us to relax and enjoy the road together.
One of the most notable aspects of the Lexus LS500 was its exceptional pick-up power. Overtaking the many trucks on the road and maneuvering through Route 66 was effortless, adding an exciting element to our trip. Even under the Arizona sun, the A/C system efficiently kept the ladies in the second row cool, enhancing the overall pleasant driving experience.
The cargo area of the LS500 turned out to be a godsend for our girls' trip. Despite it being only 24- hours long, we packed as if we were going away for a week. The generous trunk space accommodated five small suitcases, pillows, a cooler, and even props for my photography of the car.
During our whirlwind trip, we had the chance to explore various exciting places in Flagstaff, and the Lexus LS500 made parking and getting around a breeze. From enjoying the best burgers in town at Diablo Burger to stargazing at Lowell Observatory at dark, the LS500 ensured a smooth and luxurious ride to all our destinations.
For breakfast, we stopped at the famous Brandy's, as featured on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri. Driving down Route 66, we felt the nostalgic charm of the road with the roaring train right beside us, creating a unique and unforgettable experience.
The LS500 AWD FSport allowed us to visit the historic Riordan Mansion, which played a significant role in Flagstaff's logging history and development of the city. And not to forget, we also stopped to enjoy the mesmerizing sounds of the Celtic Bag Pipers who were in town from all over the country, followed by refreshing beverages at the Historic Weatherford Hotel, established way back in 1897.
As we embarked on the drive back home, the fun continued with games and reminiscing about our cherished 37-year-long friendships. The Lexus LS500 brought us all closer together, fostering laughter and camaraderie throughout the journey.
Thank you once again, Lexus, for making our girls' trip in the beautiful LS500 possible, even if it was only for a day. The luxurious and feature-rich sedan left a lasting impression on all of us. With its tested price of $88,965, it's evident that the car is worth every penny for those seeking comfort, adventure, and the creation of beautiful memories.
