I used to have a super oily scalp, literally two days after washing it was a greasy mess! Then I started using rosemary water and I can go two weeks and it’ll look like day one post wash. 10/10 Rosemary water

Baby shampoo is actually worse than "harsh chemicals" since the pH is too high for both the hair and the scalp of adults
Except for Johnson’s or OGX, both brands’ shampoos are carcinogenic

Hi, I’ve seen a few of your videos talking about your hair and was wondering, have you checked your ferratin levels? Having an iron deficiency (my ferratin is 18, but is supposed to be 100!) Has totally changed my hair for the worse.
Yes! Due to my mum's job and her own persistence, I've been getting into co-washing myself. I try to do it every second or third wash x

Though maybe I like co-wash for hair, it's the worst for my oily-to-normal scalp. Don't want to sacrifice skin health and hair growth to whatever co-wash benefits.

When it comes to clarifying, although ACV has some benefits for soothing the scalp or dealing with hard water, it doesn’t have the power to remove sebum and product buildup the way surfactants in clarifying shampoos can so they’re not interchangeable

Hey idk if you’ve ever tried those garnier tub conditioners/mask/ leave in things before, but I LOVE them for getting rid of frizz as an overnight mask, (I never use shampoo after a mask i usually shampoo first, mask, rinse and condition) I think you should try it

I just watched your amazing hair journey video and I really sympathized. I am currently very interested in hair growth and have learned that there is much more in hair than just how it looks. I think you feel that too and that's why you need your long hair. You can have hair revitalized with an energetic haircut at a natural hairdresser to find out what the hair needs. Im from Switzerland but im sure that they are in your country too. Good luck!

Could it be that you have over moisturized hair? Looking at your hair growth video, you never mentioned protein treatments. It could be your hair is lacking protein or over moisturized or both.
“Hair in moisture overload will have some distinctive symptoms:
If you pull one strand of hair it will stretch and stretch without bouncing back, and eventually fall apart and tear
The hair will feel mushy, limp and excessively soft
Your curls will struggle to hold their shape, they will have little definition and tend to fall flatter than normal
You will have more frizz than normal, a fluffy, soft type of frizz
Your hair will feel weighed down, as if you applied too much product”
I just viewed your ACV video (I know it’s 4 yrs old), in comparison to Co washing and ACV rinses, what’s your take on the two now?

Hmm that’s odd, they told me it is for both in the briefing but I did find it strange that it wasn’t more specific… perhaps it is only for the skincare and 50% anything added on including haircare. I will get in touch with them to double check!

There are plenty of ingredients that will work in lieu of detergents to clean the hair pretty effortlessly in a co wash.

Thanks so much Isabella, you've really helped me learn more about haircare! A question - when you're washing your hair in between co-washes, are you using shampoo with sulfates and conditioner with silicones?
I do not know specifically about what she uses, but you have to use a clarifying shampoo with sulfates in it at least once a month, which she mentions around four minutes in to the video. Co-washing and similar routines over time can lead to scalp rot which is why DevaCurl products over time were causing hair loss and damage. It's likely she doesn't use conditioners with silicone as hair cannot absorb silicone which leads to product buildup much quicker which leads to scalp rot. That doesn't make silicone bad for your hair; silicone coats the strand to act as a barrier between your hair and the elements which makes it the best solution for frizzy hair and humid climates. Also, keep in mind that if you had COVID, it can lead to temporary hair loss for more severe cases. Hope this helps! Much love! ❤

How long should you let the conditioner sit in your hair for a cowash or should you wash it out immediately?
Usually you leave the conditioner in your hair for like 2 minutes or more before rinsing it.

This products unfortunately contain micro plastic, which clocks the hair-follicles. Its like silicones. And very bad for the environment. I don't use shampoos which include this ingredients
Silicones don't clog the hair follicles, they're not comedogenic. Coconut oil is more comedogenic than silicones are
@@malloryknox6802 yes but micro plastic is not permeable as silicones are. Per example acrylates copolymer which is in this shampoo: this ingredient is also in nail gel for artificially nails, it is not permeable. Its liquid plastic
