People with dandruff/scalp flakes can benefit from co-washing. Do it in between shampooing and conditioning for as many times as you need to for a healthy scalp and retain moisture for dryness. *4b* curl types too because I'm 4b.
I personally do STILL advocate shampooing - or some variation of it (i.e. bentonite clay mask, ayurverdic herbs, etc.) - just to be sure your hair is cleansed. However, I won't go as far as to say everyone needs shampooing. Some naturals have seen success with their curls without it. It really depends on the person, their curls, and what works for them!
Thank you RJ! I'm so glad to hear how they've helped you! Cowashing is a process that has the potential to be done up to once a week, but it's really going to depend on your hair characteristics, your current routine, and what you feel like doing! I recommend you watch my free training How to Make Natural Hair Grow to learn more definitively when to do it specifically for your hair! This is my favourite hair channel on UA-cam and my hair it’s not even curly but I learned so much because of this channel
This means so much to me 💖 Thank you so so much Waddha, I’m beyond happy you still find value in it!
All this sounds good yeah, but you STILL need shampoo. Don’t neglect shampoo when starting to co-wash!🤎

Hi do you have a video about steaming our hair? Pros, cons, and how often we should be steaming? 🙂
I have fine hair, but I have been cowashing since 2015! Also, I ALWAYS prepoo first to avoid hygral fatigue.
Ooo that’s a great suggestion for finer textured naturals!
Where have I been!!!??? This girl is da bomb!
I love co washing my type 4 curls I do it once a week
Same! I love it! So quick, easy, and keeps my curls manageable!
I just love all your videos it’s helped me so much 💜. But I have a question: How often should I co wash? I wash my hair every week. Thx in advance!

Soo, you just massage your hair and wash it out like shampoo
Yep, just like shampoo! It’s great to do in between wash days for some extra moisture and light cleansing!
