    All this sounds good yeah, but you STILL need shampoo. Don’t neglect shampoo when starting to co-wash!🤎

      I personally do STILL advocate shampooing - or some variation of it (i.e. bentonite clay mask, ayurverdic herbs, etc.) - just to be sure your hair is cleansed. However, I won't go as far as to say everyone needs shampooing. Some naturals have seen success with their curls without it. It really depends on the person, their curls, and what works for them!

    Yeap! I co wash mid week every Wednesday using Queen Helene super hair cholesterol and the week of wash day I skip co washing to do my pre poo Thursday night using sulfur 8 shampoo for my scalp and queen Helene regular hair cholesterol. Co washing with Queen Helene hair super cholesterol is a real game changer for me, because I noticed more moisture and shine to my hair compared to when I was using an actual co wash product, the co wash product actually made my hair dryer. My hair needs a lot of moisture so chose Queen Helene super cholesterol and it helped my hair to stop breaking and prevent dryness.

    Hi do you have a video about steaming our hair? Pros, cons, and how often we should be steaming? 🙂

    I have fine hair, but I have been cowashing since 2015! Also, I ALWAYS prepoo first to avoid hygral fatigue.

      Ooo that’s a great suggestion for finer textured naturals!

      Thank you RJ! I'm so glad to hear how they've helped you! Cowashing is a process that has the potential to be done up to once a week, but it's really going to depend on your hair characteristics, your current routine, and what you feel like doing!
      I recommend you watch my free training How to Make Natural Hair Grow to learn more definitively when to do it specifically for your hair! Here's the link to register: sales.collegecurls.co/masterclass-landing-page

    Soo, you just massage your hair and wash it out like shampoo

    • @CollegeCurls
      @CollegeCurls  3 роки тому +2

      Yep, just like shampoo! It’s great to do in between wash days for some extra moisture and light cleansing!
