I had the same problem, it drove me nuts so I stopped dying my hair I know its not for everyone but I can't believe how my hair has improved thicker healthier no dry breakage, even though my hair is a dark graphite colour now the grey has come in, i use a blonde me detox shampoo once a week a leave in condition blonde me neutralising leave in conditioner then once a month the blonde me detox mask with the vitamin c powder mixed in my hair I watched an Austen Thomson video about looking after grey hair, Scottish salon.... My hair is finally lovely and easily managed glad you found your holy grail 🙏

I bet your hair looks great. Sounds like a brilliant routine you’ve got there. I just have gray at the front so I’m at an awkward stage where I need to colour it or I think it would just look a bit dull and uninteresting. When I get gray throughout though I think I’ll follow your route.

Interesting, I've had fine hair which has always been dry, prone to shedding and breaking, and goes frizzy and puffy at the first hint of humidity. Someone suggested to me that I might have some texture (wave) and I should try curly girl care routine. It's not been a miracle cure but it's improving. I use cowash, leave in conditioner and a gel on soaking wet hair (yes really. I was sceptical!). You then squeeze excess moisture out with an old t-shirt, and I use a diffuser to dry my hair. Once fully dry the hair will feel crunchy, i scrunch that out with an old silk scarf. And I have waves! You might too, who knows.
I loved the New Wash, but lord they are taking the you know what on the pricing.

Thank you so much Honest Channel for this video. I have use Renpure Cleansing Conditioner (a cowash) for about 8 years. Recently they discontinued it, and I have been researching to see what product can match the Renpure. I tried the Pantene cowash only to be very disappointed. I have read so so so so many great reviews about "AS I am", and I will purchase it today ! Thank you again for your well spoken, well articulate video.

That's so interesting. I'm a New Wash convert (it's amazing how regular shampoo just turns my menopausal hair to straw) but this something I'd be willing to try too. Once you get over needing suds to clean hair, it opens a whole new world. Thanks for the video - off to Amazon I go!

Hope this works out for you as it’s cheaper than New Wash. It’s been an absolute revelation. My hair is in SO much better condition!

I LOVE this cowash! Always leaves my hair soft and lush! I too have highlights and wash daily. I have like 2c type hair, wavy. And I LOVE this stuff, works wonders

Thanks for the video! Co-washes have very gentle surfactants in them, which is why they can gently remove oils from the scalp. You might even consider trying it with a head/scalp massaging brush when emulsifying it in the shower! It’s even more exfoliating and delivers blood to the hair follicle. As a luxe co wash, I love the Leonor Greyl Creme Aux Fleurs, which is helpful for coloured hair and acts as a treatment first, kind of like an oil-then-shampoo-then-conditioner. I was stunned at how it detangled my hair!

Omgosh TY sooo much for putting this out there!! I am 41, having same probs as u, the coloring is just brutalizing my hair, the products that were once my go-to is just not working anymore nothing is working on my hair like it used to. Even at the salon she had a hard time doing my hair she almost needed to do a Malibu treatment because my hair was in such a rough condition and I have never happened in all my life! I am losing hair n just starting to dread washing!! So i started looking up co washes n found u! See, i was using a co wash...it was my go to...i did not realize it was LOADED w protein annnd silicones! It actually coated my hair so nothinggg worked! So I cannot wait to try these ones!

Glad to help Katie. I still love this cowash. I now wash twice with it every second day (as in wash, rinse then wash rinse again) and it gives me such a silky smooth result.

@@thehonestchannel so i tried it! I LUV IT. I was honestly surprised bc i really expected it to be more greasy like or too moisturizing, but IT IS NOT!! It is just more striving enough to use without getting any Tangles or anything like that and without leaving my hair and my scalp is greasy and I do the same thing I wash it up rinse it and then wash it again and rinse it and then my hair is bit longer in a bit thicker than yours I think so I ended up using a bit of conditioner just on the ends and my hair was perfect! This also very much helps me as I am a disabled in my legs and it is extremely hard for me to stand for so long in the shower and mess with my hair as I have been since I have been trying to find the right products to use..so this really is a help to me n i can not wait to get the dandruff one n also the passion fruit one, which I've heards a bit more moisturizing. I do fear i may need to actually use a shampoo once or twice a month tho? Worried about a possible build up but we will see...ohh!! And 85% less hair loss in first wash!! My hairs been coming out awful..not w this!!

@@katiebelles3810 I’m so pleased this worked out for you! That’s great to hear. I find if I wash twice with it I don’t get build-up but I have used regular shampoo and conditioner every now and then and it doesn’t set you back so it’s all good to mix it up 😊

Thanks for the info, mine is like your before pic so used the link to try it, also the leave in conditioner fingers crossed, ever since Vitapointe was discontinued my hair is impossible, i've used it for 60 years on wet and mostly dry hair and my Mum before me. nothing matches it, but I refuse to buy from the profiteers on Ebay and Amazon charging ridiculous prices :(

Started using this co wash about 6 years ago when I got interested in the curly girl method .It is still a go to even now as it is so gentle on my hair leaving it soft and not stripped unlike shampoos that leave it frizzy and strawlike. (my hair is curly and very fine) I like their gels too though my favourite products are now from trepadora especially their Gojiberry mint hair rinse and Ginseng bamboo glaze gel.whch can still encourage curls from my now thinning post menapausal hair. Interested in the tree tree co wash as haven't see that one and my son finds the coconut one makes his scalp itchy too so will try the anti dandruff on for him instead

It’s been such a revelation in this house. Wish I’d heard about it years ago. I’ll look out for trepadora. Sounds interesting!

@@thehonestchannel Only if your hair tends to turn brassy after highlights, which mine does. However, it can be really drying and I wondered if that might be why your hair was so hard to handle after shampooing. I am really tempted to try co-washing, especially after your review. The way you describe your hair is exactly how mine behaves. Plus it can be quite upsetting seeing lots of hair breakage.

Nice review. I’m a bit confused is this only for thick frizzy hair. What if you have fine thin hair? Thanks

It says on the packaging that the coconut cowash is designed for 'coils and curls' and it is does a great job of moisturising and taming frizz, but I think the olive and tea tree oil wash (for dry and itchy scalp) I mentioned could work for any hair type. Definitely worth a try. It's great stuff.
