I believe the stopped making the fortress in the late 90s. Unless they made them again they would all have the brass nut. I had one for a short while. Very nice instrument.

The way the guitars play around the melody makes me think of a ritual summoning a goddess- the bass and guitar being the devoted worshippers chanting and dancing in a trance, skipping in a circle, while the melody is the goddess, singing and crying out a shrill tune, as she appears before them.
nice interpretation, if the cosmic gods exist, for sure they dance at the rhythm of Meshuggah songs, the way they play with the patterns and melodies just blows my mind, totally inspiring and evil tho...
