    I'm thinking about trying TL after I finish my current protein powders. I like how simple and easy to understand you make your videos but still with great information.

    I tried Transparent Lab Dark Choco based of one of your videos. It did not disappoint. By Far the best Chocolate flavor of any protein I had. I also got an example of 5 flavors, I was surprised with all of them, but oatmeal choco chip and strawberry were my fave. I'm looking at sugar cookie too.
    Def, their products are legit good. It is better getting them in bargain because you can apply promo codes on their website or at vitamin shoppe.
    Thanks for the info.

    I want to get Transparent labs but the cost justification isn't there for me. Grass fed doesn't seem significant as the benefits are in the fat.... which is removed in whey isolate. One day I will switch to TL but just cant be the cost savings on ON, especially because you can frequently find great discounts on it.

    • @feast_good
      @feast_good  Місяць тому +1

      Ya, I think I made the point clear that Transparent Labs is more expensive than Optimum Nutrition and that might be a deal breaker for some people. However, the benefit is not because it's grass fed. I've said in many videos that grass fed doesn't increase the quality of the protein. It only makes a meaningful difference if you care about the lives of the cows, which some people put more priority on when shopping for food.

    Don't understand why people care so much about taste like you're hitting the gym for the gains you're not having a Frappuccino. I know it's better when the product taste good but if it's gon to taste good it better be by using natural ingredients.

    • @feast_good
      @feast_good  3 місяці тому +2

      I think a lot of experienced gym goers have this perspective, but for people new to the gym, and new to protein powder, taste is usually the factor that either keeps them taking it or not.

    I use ON and get it at Costco.
    $60 for 5.64 lbs (depends on flavor), 80 servings.
    75 cents per serving.
    Some flavors are better than others, but I haven't had one yet that I would say is absolutely terrible, but have had some flavors that I wouldn't buy again if given a choice. Some are really good though, so your own tastes probably matter most. Besides, it goes down in three gulps and that is that, it isn't that big of an issue.
    IMO, it is the best value out there.
    An actually pretty good product, not the best, but it is a good product, and you can't pass up the price.

    • @feast_good
      @feast_good  Місяць тому

      I've been told by a few people you can get ON at Costco for a pretty good deal. Like I said in the video, if the main feature you're looking for is an affordable protein, then go with ON. But as you said, there are better whey proteins out there based on other criteria.

    "Natural flavors" is not transparent, the rest of the ingredients are good but still a huge red flag. Also grass fed is a vague term as well. Transparent my @ss 😂

      You'll see "natural flavors" in literally every protein powder except unflavored. My recommendation is to buy unflavored if you're concerned for whatever reason.
