Hey awesome review just curious I only want to take half a scoop before my workout is it worth buying if I’m only going to be taking half a scoop?
Please if you’re watching this video, do NOT try PEscience select protien. It is absolutely monumentally disgusting. I fell for it a while back when another sponsored UA-camr pushed it. Never again. Ryse is delicious though
Hello, what do you think about beef protein? For example, what kind of protein is Musclemeds Carnivor? Or Mutant whey? Thanks
I've only tried 1 beef protein and it was from ATP Labs. I actually REALLY liked it. I would use it more often, but it's just more expensive than whey protein.
wasnt this the one that had a bunch of metals ?isopure vanilla
Nope, you can read more about that here: feastgood.com/best-protein-powders-without-heavy-metals/
Does the “foam” after shaking comprised of any of the protein?
Energy drinks do nothing to me, this was my first pre workout today and it was great, i felt it after 1 gulp. Tropical punch with 9oz of water and it tasted great. Although, there are natural flavors so idk if they changed the recipe but its got them as the 1st ingredient which isnt healty but its great
Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Keep me posted after a month, though, because that's when you'll really be able to tell whether or not it's making a difference. For me, Bulk is always in my supplement cupboard. I love it.
wish you had a review for heavy metals or contaminates - thx
I have that video coming out in the next 3 weeks.
There was a guy I worked with who was very skinny and wanted to build muscle so badly. He took my advice when I told him to make a big milkshake with a couple scoops of whey after the gym and he did start gaining a good amount. Mass Gainers are very expensive and only have like 30 servings.
Whatever way you can get your caloric surplus will be a success, whether that's your own mass gainer shake or using a mass gainer powder.
Iam a indian can buy it?
Not sure, go to the website and find out.
Carbon Diet coach does track micronutrients. Been using the app 4yrs! It does track fiber and EVERYTHING! WORKS GREAT! plus they have a great support team and have educational videos to help you learn the app.
Very good tanks
You're welcome!
repeat yourself a few times i didn't catch the caffeine content

The code doesn't work for me.
Did you try FEASTGOOD ?
Are you seeing a place to enter a code, but the code isn't being accepted some way? Or are you just not seeing a place to enter a code?
This is great and all, im going to mix this with my forbidden protein shake 💪🔥
Nah I be drinking and I feek woke asf
Dude I was looking for a good pre workout and asked chat gpt for a pre workout tier list and it recommended ur video
Woahhhh, that's amazing. That's just luck I guess. I don't know how to optimize for that sorta thing lol.
The inaccurate food entries are the worst part. I'm leaving for that. No one tracks food to get inaccurate numbers--they wouldn't be tracking otherwise.
Premier protein also sells a powder version. I add it to my cereal in the morning.
I haven't tried their powdered version, but maybe I should.
Just bought the new bottle. Would give it a try shortly
Let me know how you like it.
@feast_good well I certainly don't like the Lead poisoning warning on the bottle. Explicitly states that consuming this product exposes one to lead consumption
@@donversatile I didn't have that label on my bottle. Are you from California? They have specific labeling requirements. Mr Hyde is 3rd party tested, so you should contact them and ask for the verified lab tests so you can see how much lead (if any) is in the sample test.
@@feast_good I'm in Barbados and I recorded a video of the warning. Gonna try it anyway. Just spooky.
Would there be higher satiety if mixed with milk instead of water?
Yes, 100%.
Upset stomach gas and heartburn after taking half scoop
Ya, doesn't sound like this is the pre-workout for you. There's definitely a ton of ingredients in Kaged Elite, so it'd be tough to pinpoint exactly what's causing that.
Do you have a recommendation for the best vanilla protein? I strictly use transparent labs protein as a whole but I’m not a huge fan of the flavor in their vanilla protein. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Love your videos, keep it up!
Thank you, that means a lot. I don't know if you'd like my recommendation because I actually love the french vanilla from transparent labs. I've been using it to make protein ice cream in my ninja creami lately. What other brands have you tried? I'll see if I can recommend a couple for you.
@ I’ve had ghost, transparent labs and nutrabio along with ryse. Not their vanilla flavors respectively but just those are the protein powders I’ve tried. Wasn’t a big fan of nutrabio as it tasted like I was eating artificial flavors so I ended up giving that away. I’ve heard gorilla mode vanilla ice cream is good do you have any experience with that? I appreciate you taking the time! Also, Happy New year! 🎊
How to add a workout session
You don't log workouts with Macrofactor
Isolates are absorbed faster than concentrates but concentrates have better bioavailability. I have chosen concentrates for their bioavailability and significant savings. I supplement with 100 to 150 grams of whey daily depending on my diet. On weekends I have time to eat more meat and those are my rest days so 100 grams are fine for Saturdays and Sundays
Pros and cons for sure.
I’ve never had an issue with the Gold Standard Whey in my shake cup. I’ve been taking it for years. It’s great value. Flavor works fine for me. I take it every day currently. I mix in a scoop with 8 oz of water, nothing else, shake it up in my Helimix shaker cup. There could be a better protein, but you can’t beat the value. 70-80 servings at Costco for less than $60.
Change country on your profile on my fitness pal and you get the scanner back. Mine is set as Canada.
That's interesting. I haven't tried that. So you're staying it's available in other countries on the free tier?
@ yes ma’am
@@normgentry8796 Does that affect other aspects of the app too?
@@feast_good not that I’m aware of
I'm so sick of these nickel and dime monthly plans..
I've used a lot of free fitness apps and the best ones are paid 🤷
They do have to pay their employees. If you want features that take more research and development it's not unfair to pay for an upgraded version. It's not like these apps are created by highschoolers for a school project or in their free time to just do it for fun. When you pay for a service you are paying for the knowledge and experience of the people providing the service.
@@cli_sensei I agree, you're 100% right.

This video is excellent bro. What do you think about nutriticost? Thank you for the information about the percentages of actual protein in the products
You know what? A LOT of people have been asking for a review on Nutricost. I plan on making a dedicated video. I'm still in the process of testing it, so I don't want to say anything before reviewing it fully.
Bro please make a review video on exalt priority whey protein 💪
Is this a legit brand? I literally can't find anything about it online.
It is a legit brand by the bodybuilding beast roelly Winkler ❤ named exalt supps 😊
@@wattsmoksh5587 Okay. The website just looks weird that's all. I'll check it out.
Don't use Asana Rebel! It's a corrupt company that charges people even after their subscriptions have been canceled! Complete scam!
The ON vanilla ice cream is i think the best taste ive ever tried in a protein shake. This is magic
Your color scale is backwards. Intuition is red is bad/stop and green is good/go.
You're the first person to mention that. I never really thought about it. But when I make the next tier list video I'll make sure to include your suggestion.
Thanks for the video c4 I been using, but I tried transparent Stem free and that is working well with me because I workout late afternoon I'll try bulk next.
Ya, any time I'm working out after 6PM I'm grabbing Transparent Labs Stim Free.
I defended Bulk Supplements and have since found out that they failed several studies with their products not coming close to the percentage of content that they claim. they also have got to know how bad the closure on their bags SUCK. Not buying off of them ever again. Even their mushroom powder is stuffed with Dextrin. Gag
Can you send me the studies you're referencing so I can take a look?
@@feast_good I sent the link but its been deleted.
I bought their Turkey Tail and on Amazon the photo of ingredients does NOT show the Dextrin in it unless you click on that photo and blow it up and scroll down. I got it took a little tasted and it tasted sweet making me realize it wasn't just Mushroom Powder.
There was also a class action suit this year on their Magnesium powder I don't know the outcome of.
I have tried various mass gainers but haven't seen results. My current weight is 50 kg. Should I consider taking this supplement ?
Perhaps you should take a step back and re-assess a few things: -Do you know your maintenance calories? Have you calculated that properly? Are you consistently eating above your maintenance calories by 200-500 calories per day? -Are you training hard enough in the gym? Are you following a program that's focused on progressive overload? -Are you getting enough sleep and recovery?
Should i get godzilla or legion pulse?
Man, both are GREAT pre-workouts. I don't think you'd go wrong with either of them. If I'm leaning toward one or the other though, I'd pick Legion Pulse, it's slightly cheaper than Ryse Godzilla.
Can I still take it if I’m lactose intolerant or should I just take the isolate one
I'd take the isolate one
Please never buy the naked mass. You’re wasting money. It literally is the worse tasting protein powder I’ve ever consumed.
Yup, that's what I said in my individual review of Naked Mass: ua-cam.com/video/b_Se5a0j3qU/v-deo.html
MyNetDairy free version doesn't include macro tracking (anymore)
Could anyone say that how good result Dymatize ISO100 gives ? Can I use this for bulking?
You can of course use this for bulking. You can bulk with any protein powder. It's not the protein powder that will make you be successful or not. It's how hard you train and whether you can consistently stay in a caloric surplus over a long period of time.
I'm 60 years old. I haven't been on this app since 2016. It was great back then. But now I find it too crowded and complicated. It was so simple back then. Plus the constant badgering to upgrade to premium is too annoying to tolerate. If I want it, I'll ask for it. Otherwise, leave me be. Thanks for the video. Sorry I didn't watch it. I just wanted to vent.
Your sentiment is shared by many, including me. Do you still use calorie/macro trackers or not?
@feast_good Hello! Not really, because I'm mostly a carnivore now, so no real need to track macros. Basically, you simply eat until you're full. No need to track anything. But I do feel like I'm not taking in enough calories being meat doesn't have much.
@@borg386 That's something I haven't done. Would be interesting to track for a couple days just to see what your calories are at.
@@feast_good agreed. Thanks for the reply and your video as well. I will subscribe if I'm not already. God bless you and yours and have a Merry Christmas 🎄
Ive been using this as first time user foe 4nths ..I think it's great ! Very easy to use ..kinda can't complain for free
Are you referring to MyFitnessPal?
I get 10lbs for $120 from Amazon. The brand is now sports, and it is whey protein isolate. Very disappointing video. Even marked down it is $236 for 11lbs. I thought there may actually be something of value here, nope.
I'm sorry you feel that way. However, if I wanted to simply give you the cheapest protein powder regardless of quality, I could have definitely gone cheaper in price. But this is one of the cheaper proteins that is actually still high quality. Did you watch the video until the end?
@ I stopped when I saw the affiliate link and the discounted price being almost double what my normal price is. I started watching because of the “King of Budget Protein” in the title. That is not even close if your main priorities are price and protein, which the title implies. Gotta make money though. Don’t blame you for that.
@@colemanharris5950 Okay, so which protein is cheap and also high quality from your perspective? Also, I want to take a moment to explain how the video production works on our end so you understand that the content is not trying to steer someone into one particular product or not. I truly hope you read what I'm about to say because it took me a long time to think about how to respond to this. Once we decide we're going to do a product review, we independently buy that product with our own money and one, or sometimes multiple people, on our team use the product for at least 3 weeks. This includes people you see on the UA-cam channel, but also people behind the scenes, such as a Registered Dietitian and one of our writers who owns a supplement store in Saskatchewan, Canada, and has 15+ years in the supplement industry. Once we've gathered all of the feedback from everyone who has tested the product, we have a writer produce an article that gets published on the website. Those articles are often 4000+ words long and go into far more detail about our experiences (and testing process) than the UA-cam videos you see. After the article is published, we then start repurposing the article to become a UA-cam script. We then film and edit the UA-cam video and publish it. So how does monetization work? First, we never go into a UA-cam video expecting to make money from a single video. Our #1 goal is to build our catalogue of reviews. For example, if our audience wants us to make a review of a niche protein powder, we will do that and share our honest thoughts, whether that's good or bad. You can see many examples of that in our catalogue. Next, none of the companies know that we independently buy their product and make a review of it. We don't collude with companies to produce biased reviews. What you see is what we honestly think. On that note, this is how we maintain our integrity throughout the process: After we review products, the founder of FeastGood, me (feastgood.com/about/about-avi-silverberg/), might establish affiliate relationships with companies where the products exceeded our expectation. To be clear: (1) we have affiliate relationships with companies we want to recommend because we think the product is good and our audience will benefit from it (2) we only become affiliates of products AFTER we test them (3) none of our writers or video producers know in the review process who we have a relationship with and who we don't - there is a clear separation between our editorial team and monetization. It's also important to know that for any round-up article/video we produce, like "best cheap protein", we don't automatically put a specific product in the #1 position because we have an affiliate relationship with them. Like I said, I'm not the one selecting the products for the list. It's the content producers and our internal team of experts, who based on their testing of those products, select the positions. They have no idea how the monetization works. If we put a brand in the top spot and we have an affiliate relationship with them, great. If we put a brand in the top spot and we DON'T have an affiliate relationship with them, great. It doesn't matter on an individual article/video level as we know eventually with the volume of articles and videos we produce (700+ articles, 120+ videos, and counting) we'll be able to pay our team and earn a living. Notwithstanding, we make money in other ways that are more profitable than affiliate links (like our nutrition coaching services). The only criteria I have for our "best lists" is that we don't put a product in a video that we haven't thoroughly bought and tested ourselves. This is why a lot of people were upset with our "Protein Tier List" video because they're saying "why didn't X or Y brand make the list". Put simply, it's because we haven't tested that specific product yet, and we're not going to speak on a product we haven't personally used. Another thing I'll say is that we’ve published plenty of product reviews where after our testing process we very bluntly tell you we DO NOT think it’s a good product (i.e. RP Diet App). I decided to become an affiliate for RP Diet anyways because there's one specific use case where it does work very well, but overall for 95% of people, there are better products out there. Regardless, in the RP Diet article/video we very bluntly tell you (after multiple years of testing) that you should NOT use RP Diet. But, we leave it up to you to decide whether you want to try it or not. So just because we're an affiliate, ultimately, we're going to tell you who it's for, who it's not for, and leave you the choice. Affiliate links are ways that content creators and businesses make money and there's definitely a right and a wrong way to do things. This brings me to the next point... Any product or service we recommend has been first-hand tested. Believe it or not, many websites and UA-cam channels claiming to review products simply rely on third-hand accounts by reading people’s experiences on Amazon or forum sites like Quora or Reddit. They have not actually tested the product themselves. If you want to see an absolutely dog shit example of this, you can check out this protein tier list: ua-cam.com/video/ERwj1zXYLks/v-deo.htmlsi=GpbUHBqniYmYULFi. The channel never bought and tested any of the products. Feel free to contrast that with our protein tier list video, which was 2.5 years in the making. This is why, for any product review we publish, we use the product for several weeks and sometimes months, before sharing our thoughts and opinions. When testing a product, we do so based on several criteria, which are specific to each product category. For example, when we’re evaluating a whey protein, we use criteria such as ingredient label transparency, taste, mixability, satiety, price, and several other factors. Also, when possible, we test the claims made by the manufacturer for a specific product. We’re not just relying on a company’s sales page to tell us how a product performs, we actually try to stress test the product based on different use cases. While we do receive affiliate commissions for referring sales to specific products, if you end up being disappointed with our recommendation and don’t come back to our site or channel, we lose our audience. This is why we always set a very high standard for our review process, and constantly strive to provide the best, most honest, and most helpful information. Happy to hear your thoughts on this, too.
@ that’s too much man. I did read that you first tested the product before recommending, I apologize for assuming the sponsorship came first. I still feel like it ain’t the king of budget protein. That’s an opinion though. The protein I call king of budget is Nowsports. 10 pounds for $120 dollars. 26 grams of whey protein isolate per 32 gram serving. Merry Christmas!
id like to hear your thoughts on Dr Ben Bikman HEALTH CODE protein.
I've never heard of it. What's good about it?
You mentioned you can add progress photos, but does the app calculate anything with that since it has a AI features or is that just for the user to take notice?
What sort of "calcuation" would you like to see?
Transparent labs I just sent e mail saying I could get it cheaper in the store because they want you to buy from store they don’t want to deal with set up business and walk away that’s how they do it
This sucks. It wont f'ing mix. I got 5KG of this sh!t. I dont know what to do with this.
Well, there's reasons why it's not the best protein in the world, but it's still pretty decent for being as cheap as it is. I don't find the mixability to be a huge issue. But I have tried 30+ different brands, so I just know there are worse protein powders out there when it comes to mixability.
Misleading
How?
Did you watch the whole video?
I personally think the Isopure should be one tier up. If it was Grass fed organic then it would 100% be S tier.
Ya, I've addressed this in other comments, but I agree. Isopure probably should have been one tier up.
