    Great video! Does it have the option to manually enter a food by putting in fat, carbs and protein and then have the calories calculated based on those macros? Since the calories shown on the label aren't always accurate, especially if they base them off net carbs.

    I haven’t had another protein since switching to these. The flavors get a bit of time to get used to. Even switching between flavors. Then after a bit I start to like it. I’ve tried samples of things on the market from time to time and yeah 99% of everything else on the market has the artificial sweeteners and fillers do not sit well with me at all. That’s basically why I can’t have anything else except another brand that has the same standards: promix. I enjoy the thinness of the shake, no bloating feeling.

    Thank you for this review. It was super useful! I'm on the MyFitnessPal premium and was looking for an app that shows all the nutrients which ended up being Cronometer. But then you mentioned International Traveling... I live in Panama, I'm from the USA, I do travel. I'm still going to use both apps this month and then make an informed decision.

      Let me know what you think of Cronometer living abroad. I get SO MANY questions about that. You should upgrade to the "gold" level on Cronometer just so you're comparing apples to apples with MyFitnessPal Premium.

    I’ve been using the scoop provided in the tub and I’ve been doing two scoops in the morning and two in the afternoon. I’ve definitely been using this for longer than 11 servings/ 11 days. Am I using the protein correctly?? Going off of the label, I’m confused why I still have a decent amount left.

    • @feast_good

      @@feast_good I'm using the scoop provided, which is 90cc. I weighed the amount of grams in one scoop and it came out to 63g (even with a little bit of extra powder on the top). It seems like 5 scoops are needed to come close to 321g, not 4 scoops. Maybe using 5 scoops a day would make it last for only 11 days. Or is there a larger scoop that I should be using than the one provided? I know I'm reaching now, lol, but I am very confused about the labeling on this product with regard to serving sizes and how long it should last. Just want to make sure that I am using it properly.

    MyProtein unflavored impact whey protein went from 76% protein down to 73% with the new packaging. MyProtein then advertised it as "more protein". I asked them if the product changed with the new packaging and they stated, "Rest assured, it’s still the same consistently high-quality product, just as you’d expect." VERY untrustworthy! I remember buying my 55 per serving protein from Academy for 49 bucks, good old times. I haven't bought protein in a long while cause of the expense. Best thing to sometimes is to just not be lazy and cook some 3 eggs and boom, that's about 1 protein shake equivalent right there. Chicken breast, prepare it yourself that's 39 grams of protein right there, cheaper than restaurant, just get your lazy butt to the kitchen.

    Here's the best price I can find for Transparent Labs Pump: feastgood.com/recommends/transparent-labs-pump/ This is an affiliate link. Feel free to use it or don't. There's no extra cost to you. It simply helps me purchase more product to review for the channel. Also, it's important to mention, an affiliate link is NOT a sponsored link. I paid for this product 100% with my own money and reviewed it independently. I have never received any financial compensation from manufacturers for reviews. Companies never know that I'm reviewing their products before a video gets published. It makes no difference to me whether I love or hate the product, I simply tell you my candid opinion. So while I can receive commissions for referring sales to products, if you end up being disappointed with my recommendation and don’t come back to the channel, I lose my audience trust. You advertise grass fed alot. You sure you dont work for them? Lol. What are the top two powders you recommend?

    • @feast_good
      @feast_good 15 днів тому

      I've actually been pretty clear that a protein powder being "grass fed" doesn't make the quality of the protein any more or less better. It's only better if you care about the quality of life for the animal. In terms of top protein powders, in the next month or so I'm planning on releasing a tiered protein list of all the protein powders that I've tested, which is 24 different brands now. So stay tuned for that.

      @@martinpalm5 Cool, that makes sense. I generally tell people they shouldn't consume more than 1/3 of their daily protein intake from shakes, which it sounds like you're under for sure.

    If it’s has a low protein content per serving is that factored into the nutrition label? Like if it say 30 grams of protein per serving am I actually getting 30 grams?

    • @feast_good
      @feast_good 18 днів тому

      No, there's no whey protein that is 100% protein. Take the grams of protein and multiple it by 4. That will give you how many calories come from protein. Then divide that number by the total calories in a scoop, then multiply it by 100. That will give you the percentage of protein per scoop. For example, 28 grams of protein in a scoop. 28 grams of protein X 4 = 112 calories. If there is 130 calories in a scoop, you go 112 / 130 = 0.86. 0.86 X 100 = 86% of protein per scoop. At FeastGood, anything above 86% per scoop is considered excellent.

    I just ordered this and the scoop seemed pretty little for 4 of them to be 1260 calories. Drank the whole thing and didn’t even feel full afterwards as compared to the serving size of six larger scoops of GNC bulk 1340 which is supposed to be 1340 calories. I could barely finish that as it felt like I was drinking 3x the calories of the naked mass. I feel like there is an error in the scoop size in one of these two products and wondering how many calories I’m actually getting.

      Did you weigh the scoop with the powder in it? Compare the weight you get to the serving size on the container.
