Having a 7 time champ take his time out to explain things like a break off to us beginners so we’ll is not something I’m taking for granted - Thanks Stephen, keep the videos coming!
The most impressive thing here is seeing Stephen rack up without a traingle!
No kidding - quicker and tighter than I do with one!
1 bit of advice to the channel creator's. Engage with your fans. It's a great channel and a little reply from the champ himself to some great comments we are reading or liking comments you like increases engagement from us all on another level.
Enjoying the channel thoroughly 👌🏼.
Cant believe im getting snooker lessons from none other than the king of the crucible. Thanks once again stephen
I never thought I would enjoy Stephen doing commentary and these instruction videos so much - but I’ve turned into a huge fan!
Simple still the best in my eyes professionalism combined with natural talent and dedication with all out attack you took the game to new heights and snooker wouldn’t be where it is without you. Still the champ 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
I've been playing 30years and I've always broke off 2inches to the right of the brown and I hit the last but one red with middle/top right hand side. Always get a great breakoff with the cue ball behind either green or brown. Works for me.🙂
really just a treat to watch stephen set up the reds with no triangle, never mind the rest of it
Love your channel Stephen ! Keep up the great content 😃
Keep up the good work Stephen. Class, as always!
Great channel.. your knowledge is invaluable, thank you for sharing it with us. Absolute legend of the game!
Free snooker lessons from one of the greats!! Brilliant!!
Learning from the best, brilliant! Thank you Stephen. Been watching you on TV for decades.
These videos are brilliant I’ve not even played snooker in years but stuff like this makes me want to! Keep it going Ste 👍👍
I'm loving the content Stephen! Tips from a cue genius is not always that easy to find! I'm a very bad player bad I love the game! We are very lucky!Thank you!!
Thank you Stephen! You teachings are fundamental & essential. Keep up!
More excellent instruction. Once again brilliantly and simply explained.
Hi Stephen. Loving the channel so far! I would love to see you demonstrate the staggered line up. I find that tough!
That’s a great, definitive explanation of the break off shot! 👍
Great videos Stephen. When I used to play, I always did the Mark Williams break off due to the fact I could never judge the pace and often left the white near the blue. Keep the videos coming please
Thank you so much for giving back. You’re such a great champion.
Free Masterclasses by my absolute snooker idol. Stephen was the reason, me as a German started playing snooker back in the 90s when studying in the UK 🎉
Wow, always broke off with bottom right and the results and ease of over centre right are just amazingly easy…fantastic! Love every clip, a must UA-cam subscription!
As a player in an amateur league this is so helpful from one of my favourite players of all time! Cheers Stephen 👍🏻
Starting up to play snooker again thank you so much for your tips, it really really helps
I, for one, love scrappy, 30-40 minute frames. It challenges players in other ways and we often see a more tactical game, which I like. It'd be a problem if was every frame, but once in a while it's nice to have the variety.
Yeah, you want to see them in the trenches, and battling it out, especially in the final. If you can't stand waiting for something exciting, this ain't the game for you!
I've never had a game shorter than 45mins
found this love this was one of my favourite players to watch cant wait to see more
Thank you for these videos, they are fantastic, I've always loved playing but I get frustrated as i know what I want to do, but not how to do it. I'm glad you are giving these tutorials, hopefully it'll improve my game.
Can you do a video on any of your favourite drills you'd do as a kid when you were starting out in Snooker?
Thank you. Loving hearing the theories and expert opinion.
Great work Stephen, the channel is getting better every time.... thank you
Being in the USA, the only knowledge I have of snooker is gained listening and watching the events on the internet. I certainly enjoy your comments and enjoy learning the game. This does transfer nicely to the pocket billiards I do play. I have a curiosity for the pattern of eye movement as you sight and execute the shots. The great camera work on current snooker play has given me clues for different players.
This eye-look pattern is very interesting to me too! Flicking between cue ball and object ball.
Been practicing this to improve my game, only started playing again a few months so this has been very helpful, thank you 😊
Keep up the good work Stephen. Class, as always!. I love how humble he is, real champion!.
Love this vid Stephen and excellent tips. Even today after playing the game for over 45 years, I can still mess up the break-off shot.
Off to Scotland at the end of the week for a couple of weeks travelling, so I’ll be getting in a game and thinking of those tips when I return home in December
Excellent videos explaining the intricacies of playing snooker.
Thanks Stephen for clearing the basics of opening break was really impressed with the way you can explain things professionally. ❤❤
I'm really enjoying what you're doing here Stephen. Great tips!!
Thanks Stephen!
This covered everything I wanted to know.
Stephen we love you. You should be the one coaching this world on snooker. Everyone needs it
Always appreciate sound advice from the master
Great tips! Love to see a video about your aiming. Thanks cheers
Thank you, sir! Lovely content and great inspiration for all of us snooker-lovers ❤❤❤
When the great man speaks, we listen . Love the channel
Great work Stephen, more vids please!
Such an amazing session
Thanks Stephen. Something worth practicing and hopefully mastering.
Thanks so much for doing these!
Thanks Stephan - a thoughtful description of a very important part of the game. Time to subscribe and see what else you have for us.
much love from turkey, amazing that you have this channel now
Thanks Stephen. I love this channel. You're doing a great job as snooker ambassador!
Yes brilliant how he sees it from our perspective and everyone's preference of which of the ways of breaking that he shows
I have always preferred and break off the way he shows end ball right hand side
Such a great insight to the game, the guys a legend.
Great break- off tips ! Thanks 😊
Learning from one of the greatest. Thank you Mr Hendry 👍
Great tips Stephen and thank you. Deserves a follow 😊
learnt a lot and very much enjoyed it!
Great vid. Would love a video about imparting side spin on the ball. I use it to play shots but feel like I cue across the ball a lot. Not sure if the cue should be going through in a straight line, or where I should really aim at the object ball.
Brilliant. Many thanks. All I need to do is put it into practice!
This channel was missing! Thanks for opening it!!!!
Love the content Stephen. Absolutely top tier, amazing production. Keep this up! This channel is gonna blow up 😃
Loving the new channel Stephen. Be good to get an in depth video about side. I understand the principles of side but talking through side used to influence position and shot choice during a break would be really informative. Keep up the good work 👍
Great video, everything is explained nice and clearly.
very instructive. Thank you.
Fantastic channel, I throughly enjoy every video. Thanks Stephen :)
Really enjoying the channel Steven. May be you could run us through the deep screw with side/ reverse side. Was always a shot that I struggled with when I ust to play. Not that I was ever very good but would like to see your slant on it 👍
I love how humble he is, real champion!
Thanks for that knowledge ☺️☺️
Thank you for everything you’re doing Stephen. Really enjoying it and super helpful. Now we just need to get kids playing before all the tables disappear…
New channel good tips, thank you 👏👏👏
Stephen is definitely getting the hang of this UA-cam stuff - he's even started putting arrows in his thumbnails!
Love to see some tips on bending shots around colours and also escaping snookers.
Great content thanks for the tips 👍🏻
These videos are so helpful Stephen. Thank you from the U.S. where snooker is basically non existent. Haha. It's terrible but true.
Stephen Hendry giving us insight into his own approach and tips on what to do…. Cant really argue with that can you 😂
You ain't gona say to the 7 times embassy world champion.. 'hey mate your doing it wrong' 😉😉
Thanks a lot, Stephen!
I am really enjoying watching your channel.
Brilliant from the champ. When the champ speaks you listen and watch
Thank you so much for this great content
Great video Stephen thanks for the tips, really enjoying the channel so far. Great work. 👏
Absolutely fantastic how Stephen explains these tutorials👌I just need 2 new eyes and a lot of practice 😂
Cheers Stephen!!!!!! A video on the use and effect of side would be very much appreciated. Thanks again.
After doing the “extreme break” I half expected John Virgo to say “your time starts the next time you strike the cue ball”
Great video learned a lot thanks
Another great video, thanks Boss!
Youre a legend Stephen, Ever since a kid I admired you, first snooker player I ever liked
I saw Jack Lisowski recently saying he plays every pot with some element of helping side. I'd love to see you explain how and why. Great videos so far, really enjoying this channel Stephen.
Thank you Steven , more videos on control and position of the cue ball please .
Love the videos
Great production Stephen, love the fact it isn't overedited
I love all these cue tips and I want to try and play snooker again but I'm watching a lot of your cue tips several times first so I remember what you have said. If I can start by getting the right break off I'll be happy with that. Thanks again Stephen and keep making these great videos. I can't wait to go to my local snooker club to try again now. Also what is the cheapest price you would suggest for a decent cue? I don't want the cheapest cue but I don't want to pay a grand for one either!
Great tutorial ,very well put over ,great video
Hi Stephen
Thank you so much for this channel. I've watched three or four of your clips and thoroughly enjoying it Brian from Melbourne Australia,
I never realised how nice Stephen is. Thanks for sharing.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on adjusting aim while allowing for playing with side
Pleasure to listen to the Master! 🙂
Excellent wee channel this, cheers
Handy to know. Thanks for that.
Top tips from the goat
Hello Stephen.
I'm a long-time fan of yours (from South Africa) and I think I've watched every single televised game you've ever played; some more than once!
Your new channel is AmAzInG and thanks so much for these lessons; they ARE being tried-and-applied!
I've always admired your shot-selection and willingness to take a risk if the potential reward is of value.
Enough "Fan-boying" and back to practice...
😎
I'm also in SA port Elizabeth
