I went to the Institute of sport to watch a couple of qualifying matches for the crucible. The wrist action was very noticeable watching live rather than on TV for some reason. It was the biggest take out for me. I also have a long backswing so that I ensure I have a slow transition avoiding the dreaded snatch. My biggest challenge is taking this to match play when the pressures on.
Bro i used to watch you back in 2019/2020 and loved watching your vids every Saturday morning! You randomly popped into my head there and i searched to find your channel and was glad that you still upload every Saturday! will defo watch from now on
I'm really struggling with my cueing. I am suffering from the yips due to not being comfortable with what I am seeing with my eyes while down. I feather but when it comes time to pull back, pause and then stroke the shot I can't release the cue to accelerate through the ball, I choke, I hesitate, I tense up and I have to stop and go back to feathering. Because I tense up my grip I've noticed my cue rotating as I cue the shot. Any suggestions?
@Breakfromlife : Could you make a tutorial for screw shots with different distance and also from the rail. I miscue 5 out of 10 times when I try to screw it back.
I’ve got a problem that if I spend one extra second taking a look at the cue ball to make sure I strike it in the center, I will lose my sight on the object ball potting angle. It seems that my eyes just drift ever so slightly on some shots that I can’t continue focusing on the potting angle once I get down on the cue ball.
I have little question from Pakistan 🇵🇰 What is the perfect grip and fingers And define finger by finger that which finger will work for aiming and which finger can hitting and provide power I am your oldest subscriber and I learn much things from you and now I am 50 breaking mostly 🎉
@@messageforworld869 that’s great. But players grips vary massively. Unfortunately there is no such thing as the perfect grip it’s just what you can make work
Would you ever consider visiting the crucible for the world championships? Maybe as a vlog and mayyybe meet Stephen Hendry and have a frame or 2?? Love all your videos btw
Great tips, but honestly, I think the idea of focusing on the picket line before the shot is wrong at a first place. You will have to use a little bit of side spin for most of the times, so it seems better to just imagine where the desired pocket is right before the shot and hitting the target ball exactly into this direction including the side spin required to compensate for the throw or allow it. This makes you learn the geometry much better.
Snooker is the worst game ever in terms of confirmation bias. If you’re playing well, every little technique thing you THINK makes a difference seems to be ‘the answer’. But when you’re playing bad, NONE OF THEM seem to work anymore!

make a video on tips to buy your first cue.

Why you wear beanie hat to play snooker?
Comfort and recognition.
