How to get healthier hair | Healthy hair | how to condition your hair | how to make your hair look good | 3 minutes - Навчання та стиль
First you taught me the ten minute blowout trick with a curling iron and some duck bill clips. **Then** you showed me why my curls are so sloppy and how to style them like a professional in your tutorial on curling hair the proper way (oh yes, I know now to stay away from the devil's temperature ;)) And **now** you're telling me I can get stronger, healthier hair using the same conditioner that's in my shower, if I just let it sit while I do the rest of my routine and rinse with cool water??? Where have you been all my life?! I just love you, and I'm so so grateful you are sharing your expertise with us for free on this platform. That is so incredibly generous! :D Thank you so much for all the time and care you put into your videos, long or short. It's a blessing!
+Vanessa Pettyjohn I love how appreciative you are. People like you are exactly why I do this! Thank you so much for keeping this meaningful for me! I love you to pieces dear! ❤️❤️
This is what I have always been doing since I was younger when my hair was processed...good to know I was doing something right
So I'm wondering who gave a thumbs down on a tip. The video just came out. Did you execute the Tip and found it not to work. This tip goes back way before Linwood was born has always been a good tip. For him to reiterate for us to remember. Damn good tip. Thanks. Keep it coming. Not only that he told you how to do it. When you getting those dark areas Lol·llllolol. Now that should be the tip.

I just discovered you about two days ago and became a new subscriber within 10 minutes of watching your tutorial on hair porosity! The way you break everything down, your patience in explaining things in detail, and your sense of humor make me feel as though I'm sitting with a real, down to earth person that just happens to know all about hair and doesn't mind sharing the knowledge! So happy to be part of the community and I'm looking forward to future tutorials and just having fun with caring for my hair!
I strongly agree with you!!!

Thanks!!! Great advice!!! That's exactly what I've been doing when I wash my hair in the shower! Happy to know I am on the right track!
+Erika Hilliard my pleasure! Yay! That is always a plus! Keep that hair slated girl! ❤️👍🏽
+Erika Hilliard slayed not slated lol doggone autocorrect!
I usually leave my deep conditioner or hair masque on for 15-35 min and the rinse. The step I was missing was allowing for the "cool-down" before rinsing it out which I learned from you yesterday. Much appreciated. #highporosity
Great tip! I have long wild hair lol, I always do this and my hair is super soft.
+valkyreve thanks! Yes this tip really helps!
Thank you .
Caught your video right on time, will end it with a cold rinse....if you hear any loud screaming that would be ME! LOL Thanks for the quick tip, and YASS more please.
+Sylvia Carmona LOL!! It doesn't have to be ice cold, just cool! Don't have yourself slipping and falling trying to run from that cold water like that! 😂😂 lol I hope you notice the difference in your hair right away! 👍🏽❤️😊
OMG!!! Too late, I heard cold LOL!!! In the shower Like a baby deer learning how to stand up, can you imagine that LOL!!! I did notice a difference, like if my hair cuticles embraced one another. Thanks for the tip. I would be a repeat customer if I was in your area.
+Sylvia Carmona awesome! I'm glad you noticed a difference even though you were trying to give yourself hypothermia! Lol
I have always do this and wash my hair in warm water and rinse in cool/cold Im glad I've been washing it right. I just did it like that because I have bright colored hair (right yellow roots ombred into a lime green) and wanted it to last as long as possible. So far it has lasted a little over a month
Thanks!
I love your videos!!! Great Idea TIPS
+Christy Fulton thank you dear! 😊 have an excellent Monday!
Thank you. I do do this and realize that my hair detangles itself. To be honest I only finger comb if need be. And my hair isn't tangled at all. ❤ Please continue to do videos on how to keep the hair healthy. I do a lot of protective styles and my hair grows very fast in doing so.

+Princess awesome! I hope you notice the difference right away! ❤️👍🏽
That's exactly what I do... except I rinse with cold water now. since I've been doing both my hair feels softer and stays cleaner longer. I also don't put any oil or cream on my scalp. Since doing those 3 things I never have itchy scalp and my hair is healthy. Great tip! I'm proof of its benefits.
+Angela B awesome! Thank you for sharing your experience!
Gotcha!👍😊
Wow you look so young here and thank you
Hi, Linwood and family!! Just found your channel yesterday as well and it's very informative and loving tips! I went on your Salon's website and saw that you travel to different locations to do hair. Any plans to come the DFW area? ?
+ItsyBitsy5489 if we get enough clients in the area, yes. We don't mind traveling. That's not currently on our books. We will be in Colorado next month and are working on details for Philadelphia later this year.
New subbie here and enjoy watching your content
👍 good advice
+Gloria Jackson thank you dear!
I wash my 4c hair every 2 weeks, I detangle with my conditioner then shampoo 2x then add my conditioner mix with my deep conditioner for 1 hr. Rinse then LCO
Can you do a video on your opinion of DIY natural hair oils and creams? Would you recommend them and if so what's the proper way to blend, apply, and store them? Last month I purchased a bunch of essential oils and mango/shea/coco butter and I don't feel like the mixture is right nor does my hair really absorb it. I've been natural for 4 years and have wavy curly hair that is bra strap length. Should I stick to purchasing my hair care products or what mixture of oils do you recommend? Thanks so much for sharing your time and knowledge!
+JoNoonMianhae try incorporating a bit of jojoba oil. Just jojoba and a few drops of essential oils. Most of the oils you mentioned are butters and act more as sealants than moisturizers. The Jojoba oil works wonders. If that's too pricey, try grapeseed instead. 😊❤️
I have low porosity and other parts high porosity. Do I need to pre poo and if so how? Also I love your videos. Thank you
Yes!!
😊😊😊
Yep, that's what I do! Yay me
I always do that
+Avieon Mendoza excellent! 👍🏽👍🏽😊
Great quick tip👍🏽
Thanks! Thank you for watching! 😊🙏🏽
@@GetGlamFam ❤️
So do I prepoo>shampoo>conditioner>deep conditioner>cold water rinse to close cuticles or swap the deep conditioner and conditioner around plus if you close the cuticles with cold water, how then do you moisturise with a leave in as cuticles are now closed
Lastly how do you prepoo with a conditioner? Can you use the same conditioner for prepoo and rinse out. TIA
although i knew this already, i love the quick tip plus reminders are great!. Thanks Boo
+carla borens thank you love! Glad to help! Have a wonderful day!
you too!
+carla borens 😊
hey do you cut hair too? im asking because i wanna see you do some cutting tutorials
+carla borens I do, I just have to buy spare mannequins to make that happen.
