My heartrate was so high when I started this routine while trying to power down for bed. Somewhere along the lines of this video, it slowed waaaaay down and when I finished it was a noticeable difference. Love it!
So No. I'm not asleep by the end of this video. However, I will tell you what this video has done for me. I've been doing this every night for two weeks now and I can finally bend down to pick up my daughter without wincing in pain. The transformation isn't just with my flexibility. Its helped calm my mind so that I can sleep, and so that I am not the "crazy lady* in quarantine that the kids go "mom, its gonna be ok, school starts on Monday" lol. And this week, my oldest and my youngest daughters have taken to doing yoga with me, and it's all because of this video and the 1 week beginner's challenge you're doing right now. this video has gave me another way to bond and love and have quality time with the people that mayter most. Thank you so much.

Perfect timing. Almost midnight here when i found this and was going to bookmark for another time but decided to do it now. It's poses i often do in bed but having your instruction to follow makes it much much better. I have inflammatory arthritis so am pretty stiff and sore but this is still manageable.
You do a good job Sarah Beth. I have used many different methods to sleep and you are right at the top. It’s like you get inside our minds and hypnotize us into sleeping.

The sad part is everytime I try to do this I get interrupted by family. But I have tried this and I have to say it improved my sleep. I was usually up late struggling to fall asleep, and also I would randomly wake up around 1-5 AM either out of no where or bc of bad dreams but these yoga videos have helped so much. Thank you! Agree. Same thing with meditation. Every time I tried to meditate I felt that it was actually burdensome on my mind. This routine wasn't. I didn't fell asleep but felt relaxed and calm

I am a full time wheelchair user, due to cerebral palsy. This bedtime yoga video was wonderful in stretching my muscles and joints to help me sleep better, and it also reduced the spasticity I get in the middle of the night.

I loved this. Unfortunately I couldn't go to sleep, but it's helped me to relax. Your audio makes it really easy to follow without having to crane my neck constantly to see my phone. 🤣🤣🤣I did this in bed and between the cat and the dogs, well, I wouldn’t call it sleep inducing, but it was the silliest yoga I have ever done. Knees to chest? Now there’s a cat perched on my shins. Reclined twist? Dog chin resting on my knee. And now that I’m done, dog #2 has removed his head from my shoulder and has taken his bone into the living room. I’m definitely relaxed, but next time I think I’ll do this on my yoga room (aka the empty spare bedroom). But thank you for this. 🙏

I personally feel more relaxed when you end the routine with the final laying-down-thingy. I know I could just do it on my own after, but I like listening to the music and how you say when to stop and then you say namaste. This was a good routine, it just ended a bit abruptly. It worked for me though I think I prefer the 20 minute bed-time beginner routine, as it gave me a deeper sleep and quicker. However this one will come in handy when I'm too tired for 20 minutes I'm sure :-)

I must've really needed a good cry before bed tonight, because when you mentioned about maybe adding force and it's time to let go, that's exactly what I did (pent-up aggression and sorrow that turned into gratitude which turned into tears..). You know, I don't really know or talk to anyone these days except a few times a year, and tonight I'm keenly aware of what a privilege it is to live during an era when teachers like you, with these public offerings, generously help pave the way to self-care and self-respect, to softening and being attentive in the present. Thank you, I have been looking into starting yoga. I think this is a good starting point. I workout daily at 6am, so this is a good way to wind down.. done once and feeling relaxed. Will definitely look into doing some of the hour long ones from now on..
This was great. I stumbled across this video because I wanted to ease into Yoga practices and this went by so quickly that I was in shock when we reached the end...and it felt good.

This is the bomb diggity! Didn’t fall asleep yet, but I am a lot closer to it. I have had lower back issues for years and the half wind has been my go to stretch. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Also watched the legs up the wall video. Totally doing it tomorrow.
Amazing, tried it for fun. Seriously my back legs arms fingers toes... whole body for once felt light. It took 20 mins for me to get back up, cos I still have shit to do. Defo doing it again and again and again. Its a melt into sleep spell

I have a hard time usually just drifting off to sleep so was really excited to try this and see if it would help. I heard all the way to the end of this one and thought, "well, that's ok. It really is perfect Sarah Beth... After a long day with 7 kids it's so wonderful to even just in bed take that time to know I did some* yoga.

So much tension comes out with these poses and deep breathing. And the hip stretches are great for bedtime

I fall asleep every time!
I didn’t fall asleep immediately BUT my entire body feels like a marshmallow. So relaxed! I feel great. Definitely adding this to my bedtime routine!

Thank you. I must've really needed a good cry before bed tonight, because when you mentioned about maybe adding force and it's time to let go, that's exactly what I did (pent-up aggression and sorrow that turned into gratitude which turned into tears..).

Thank you, I have been looking into starting yoga. I think this is a good starting point. I workout daily at 6am, so this is a good way to wind down.. done once and feeling relaxed. Will definitely look into doing some of the hour long ones from now on..
This was great. I stumbled across this video because I wanted to ease into Yoga practices and this went by so quickly that I was in shock when we reached the end...and it felt good.
It actually works, it just relaxes you and I fall a sleep quickly,
WOW. As soon as I finished this...I yawned deeply. I was getting a migraine all day..then decided to some yoga to help...saw this one...and I must say....I without a doubt don't feel the pain as much😯

This is the bomb diggity! Didn’t fall asleep yet, but I am a lot closer to it. I have had lower back issues for years and the half wind has been my go to stretch. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Also watched the legs up the wall video. Totally doing it tomorrow.

Amazing, tried it for fun. Seriously my back legs arms fingers toes... whole body for once felt light. It took 20 mins for me to get back up, cos I still have shit to do. Defo doing it again and again and again. Its a melt into sleep spell

I have a hard time usually just drifting off to sleep so was really excited to try this and see if it would help. I heard all the way to the end of this one and thought, "well, that's ok. At least I got a good stretch in". The next thing I knew I was walking up a couple of hours later. Will definitely be revisiting. Thanks!
Out of all the yoga-tubers that made a video on bedtime yoga, this is the best. Why? It's quick, simple, easy to follow along, ACTUALLY makes you feel sleepy 😴💤, unwinds and truly relaxes you. The other yoga tubers stressed the heck outta me but you, Queen Sarah Beth, have outdone them all. 😭❤️
