- #SGBudget2024: MINDEF and the SAF have made sizeable investments in building up infrastructure to train our NSmen and Regulars. This year, training in SAFTI City Phase 1, together with three Instrumented Battle Circuits will commence.
Murai Urban Battle Circuit is equipped with an enhanced battlefield monitoring system, smart targetry and realistic battlefield effects, leveraging technology to help our soldiers train more realistically and effectively.

This is good leh. I know a lot of people are gonna say “waste of money” “waste time”. But, do remember that this will help out soldiers such as infantry to build combat instincts and readiness. Good job SAF!
Best is to waste money on simulation rounds and do force on force. Red Vs Blue team etc.. Real people vs real people but in a paintball kind of simulation rounds.. Technology is very expensive to maintain if broken down.
@@yusamirulputrayusof-og3bv I know. But this is good for newer soldiers to build up their combat capability and skills. So that they will be a bit more experienced after the simulation.

Well done SAF for using technology to enhance soldier capabilities while keeping safe. But what difference is this as compared to having a human OPFOR? A human can creep, crawl, dash, hide and shoot back using TES. Is this to reduce the reliance on OPFOR?
Need less solider to be used for opfor, I guess? I don't see SAF have a dedicated OPFOR company like the US

If they play cod mobile. Do you think that they will be well trained? That’s like telling me that you want to be NBA player but you train by watching you tube vids. If everyone watch youtube videos in order to be NBA player. Then everybody watching UA-cam videos will become NBA player. So my friend, use common sense and think about the necessary training to become a better combat soldier or whatever your occupation is. Hard work is involved.
