Bad mouthing Smittybilt, (even jokingly), then claiming Warn is an upgrade (which I agree with), but opting for the standard duty Warn? Prolly should've sprung for the Cadillac model rather than the sub-modelVR Evo, imo. Why not the Zeon?
when working on the electricle, disconnect the ground first. then it dosn't matter if you short out the positive! And reconnect the ground last, with out ground your wrenches will stay shiny, longer
Good install video , other then the crack at a winch that has worked well for you , but seriously how much cash do you have in the Jeep ? Just a mall crawler or wheel often and hard? If it is not a mall crawler there is no excuse for putting a budget winch on that thing. You replaced a ok made in China winch with a nominally better made in China winch , makes no sense. Now on my 91 Ranger that I have 10 k into in 13 years ( about a million bucks in my labor) putting a $800 canuck buck winch on to use 5-10 times a year makes sense , my rig costs less than your shocks . And yes, I have replaced my 100% reliable Smittybilt XCR 10 ( failed due to overloading warping the bumper baseplate) with a Warn VR EVO 10 which is waiting for bumper replacement to install.
By the title I would have assumed this was a comparison of Smittybilt vs Warn, but I guess I was wrong
No it’s just all 99% clickbait advertisements and sponsored free product placements 😢
So how did this winch hold up for you? Thinking of putting one on my daily driver/weekend warrior 4Runner as a "just in case" type thing.

upgraded from made in china to.... still made in china, stop supporting the commies lol
I hope your channel takes off. Not sure if the "shocking" part was planned but, usually once is enough to learn your lesson.
Not planned, was just lucky enough to do it on camera, twice! Never good to be in a hurry. And thank you 🙏🏻
Where is the VS part of the video?
Both Smittybilt and the Warn VRs are Chinese made winches.
I just bought the Warn VR EVO 10S winch. Installing this weekend! Batteries make me nervous!

Just so everyone know.. the warn vr evo 10s don't fit the 85-88 toyota trailgear bumper ...
If I had your budget I'd get the Zeon not the EVO 😂
