- Target was in the news recently for being Satanic, apparently. And some dumb theists thought some stuff was going down... which of course it wasn't... they just all got annoyed because rainbows, mermaids and unicorns...
So here's Colin... complaining that target is under the control of an undemonstrated demon, and I say why that's extremely silly!

This just further confirms to me that Satan is the good guy and God is the evil villain of their fictional stories.
They've been promissing a sequel for 2,000 years, but even James Cameron works faster than that.
Sometimes I think the Yazidi might be on to something. They believe God fucked off after Creation and left Melek Taus, the Peacock Angel, in charge. He's not really the equivalent of Satan, but that doesn't stop the ignorant Abrahamic religions from claiming they're devil-worshipers and persecuting them for it.
God killed over 2 million people in the Bible. Satan killed less than 20 people, iirc.

And to me that always comes off as disingenuous or ignorant when theists say that. They want to use their religious beliefs to dictate law but also believe their religion/religious beliefs isn't impacting others.

Funny, in my entire 60 years of life, I’ve never had an LGBTQ person corner me, and tell me reasons why I should devote my life to being LGBTQ! And that it was wrong to be anything else, or that it was important to teach my kids to be LGBTQ when they are young, so that they don’t grow up to be straight.

These types always take such a convoluted route to say they're upset that some people want kids to know that they can be whoever they really are. They also hate the idea that you can be accepting of people who may be a little different than yourself.

Umm...my wife bought the "Be Kind" overalls and a matching onesie for our sons a few days ago. I can confirm, our boys have been speaking in tongues and singing "Born this way" for 37 hours straight. Neither of them could make the F or Th sounds until now. 10 out of 10, recommend.

It's always been synonymous because many people are prudes and don't want to say the word "s3x" even UA-cam won't let me say it most the time, and even trans people don't get that right and trans women claim they are females and have periods and crap. If they would admit they're different they wouldn't be trying to compete against women in sports but they are in denial it's the same thing. I don't care how you dress or if you like sparkles you're not a woman where it matters.

Well, not knowing anything that goes against their world view is more specific to literal fundamentalists than to all theists. I went to a fundamentalist Independant Baptist church (the worst kind) until I was 8yrs old, and they tried several times to exorcise the demon in me because I sometimes got obsessed with odd things - like the patterns in the cinderblock hallway - and I'd flap my hands and cock my head like a pidgeon. Then we went to my grandmother's liberal Presbyterian church and a pediatrician there suggested I be tested for autism. Diagnosis: moderate autism, not demonic possession.
It's mostly the literal fundamentalist who reject reality in favor of their ancient superstition born out of fear and ignorance. I went to my former Presbyterian church until I was 18yrs old, and never heard anything prejudice or anti-scientific. They actually had an "All are Welcome" banner at the Pride parade.
But I think Christians have to cherry pick to be kind just as much as the have to cherry pick to be hateful, only proving how ineffectual the Bible is in determining "God's Will" and his "Absolute Morality". Christianity is just one big "my will be done" farce.
P.S. Does "dutchgut" mean your heritage is "Dutch" from the Kingdom of the Netherlands? My heritage is Danish, and I'm shocked at how many people (in the US) think people from Denmark are called Dutch, and that Holland is actually a country.
So what is the difference between biological sex and gender then ? I'll bet your going to say something along the lines of gender is a social construct or something. So what you are really referring to is traditional gender roles then. So if a man identifies with traditional female gender roles ( femininity, submissive, likes girls clothes, wears makeup, etc ) then that makes him a female. But if gender is a social construct then that means that there is nothing objective about being a woman. Females or males don't exist in a objective reality but it is all a subjective state of mind. At least biological sex is something that can be measured objectively and is actually reliable. It sounds like "gender" is absolutely useless besides for affirming people's beliefs about themselves. Which coming from a bunch of atheists is actually pretty hilarious 😂
As a part rainbow Giraffe I can confirm I ate all possible gods out of existence. They were pretty delicious but I had some gut problems after that.

I once attended a flea market (to sell Victorian corsets), arranged by a SMBD society and I got good opportunities to talk to a lot of people. I'm so glad you covered this. I stumbled upon his video last week, and for a channel called "fight for truth" he sure did like deleting my comments. Also the worst part of all of this for me is him calling young children "disgusting" for wearing clothes of the opposite gender. When I was a little kid I (F) got heaps of hand-me-downs from my older brothers. I wonder if he also considers that to be disgusting?
I grew up with a charming, handsome, and very manipulative diagnosed (non homicidal) psychopath in the family. An adopted cousin.
To cure his boredom he liked to manipulate people into fighting me, the smallest kid on the playground.
I got really good at controlling my anger, compartmentalizing panic, and recognizing the manipulation.

The best part is that for most of the history that they want to Harken back to all children wore the same clothes regardless of gender until they were teenagers.

I live in Florida, where a new law lets anybody carry a concealed weapon. Considering who would be offended to the point of boycotting Target, makes it the safest store in town.

I am super pro gun. But I do have concerns about who might take advantage of the new law in Florida. I would take advantage of that law only because I am trans and Florida is full of bigots. Here in Nevada open carry is legal without a permit. I have been tempted to buy a gun and start carrying. Thankfully I haven't had any problems here in Las Vegas. But things can always get worse. Hopefully they don't. As much as I love guns. I want to live in a place where I don't feel the need to carry a gun.

More people carrying guns in public just means more people will use them on other people. Inasmuch as the U.S. is full of crazies, it has already become dangerous to be out in public and probably soon even in your own home. Already there are tons of irresponsible gun owners who keep leaving their guns in the vehicles and have them stolen while complaining they need guns to protect themselves from criminals. Ironically, they are the ones supplying the criminals with the guns they supposedly need a gun to protect themselves from. Vicious circle leading to a lot of death and destruction.
@@rhondah1587 Where I live in Las Vegas I am more concerned about cops with guns than civilians openly carrying in compliance with the law. In general cars are a much bigger threat to me than guns are. I am a wheelchair user. There is a spot near my house that has unusable sidewalks, So I have to go in the street. I am much more likely to get hit by a car than shot.

As a ciswoman, especially one who isn't into shaving off all my body hair, I am all for swimsuits that have extra crotch coverage. I don't know why manufacturers think that women enjoy wearing something that doesn't cover that area properly. So, yay for Target.
And yeah, all of the queer-specific clothing shown in that stupid video were for adults, not for kids. That's a strange way to market to kids. (And even if it was for kids? Kids who are trans exist, and they can speak their minds, too. Just because Christians can't handle that fact doesn't make it less true.)

I can't even wear one piece suits because I'm very tall and long-bodied, so they give me the worst wedgie imaginable. I usually buy tankinis, but even in those the bottoms are usually awful AND the tops are usually not long enough. I need to move to Europe where I can go nude on beaches without being arrested/shamed and just be done with outrageously-priced swimwear forever.

I remember when my mother, who was somehow hyper-Christian while also hating anyone who refused to drink, smoke, curse, or listen to non-Christian music, told me that I "hate anything good and kind" because, at the ripe old age of 30, I found Barney the Dinosaur to be annoying. Despite their claims regarding their origins, most of which are just lies anyway, modern Christianity is about nothing except hate. There is one fairly small Target in my city and the Pride collection was up for less than a week before threats from homophobes forced them to take it all down.
I managed to get a couple things for my enby pan teen, but I’m still so frustrated and angry that things are still this backwards and that the bigots are this empowered.
But I’m also not surprised.
(In better news, the Michaels craft store in my city has had a small Pride display right at the front of the store for about a month and if there have been complaints, they haven’t been violent enough to force Michaels to take it down.
