Accurate depiction of what its like to visit Hollywood
One of the greatest death metal tracks of all time. Doesn't get much better than this.
Where the slime livuh!
@@T.2.S.A. And now the slime gets washed away HAHAHAHAHAHA
True
Such a sick intro, heavy ass riff with that big note bend
Pinch harmonics*
The bend remember me to: celtic frost - procreation of the wicked.
@@Tharsis_ theres def bends and harmonics
In the wild slime mold prefer dark places and move away from from sunlight. They prefer dark moist places such as under decaying logs or beneath decaying leaves.
well thats metal af 😂\m/
Where the slime lives and where the slime breeds, if you will.
Thank you for the myxogastria facts.
Somehow the Most Christian Song I've heard in a while, going on the Doom Playlist
I’d love to see that playlist
Where the slime live
(They are the lowest forms of life)
Where the slime breed
(They make a new one too corrupted)
When the wind blows
(The winds of truth are blowing now)
And the cradle falls... down
Their poison fingers that wrote the poison lines
Their poison lingers
What a tragedy when their fingers are removed
Where the slime live
Their burning dogma
Introducing to our mind - lies
They plot for the total control of the morals
And what a tragedy when the "god-heads" are removed
They crawl, they breed, they hide but we see
They burn
I see the smoke of the funerals rising
God lives in their heads now laid to rest
What a sight
As their kingdom comes tumbling down
We burn - the ones with contrite souls be gone!
Long gone are the filthy liars
Long gone are their filthy lies
I know they'll come again some day
Where the slime live and how the slime gets washed away
Favorite song on the album 🤘🏻
On the most underrated album in their catalog.
@@sole__doubt Funny its their second album I bought after Heretic
By far!
@@sole__doubt this album is one my favorites from morbid angel. This is my top 3 in order
1.blessed are the sick
2. Covenant
3.Domination
This song and dawn of the angry are tied for me when it comes to this album
Originally slime was supposed to be included with the domination album but it was later recalled for being toxic. That would of been cool though. Slime was definitely popular during that time in the 90s: There was nickelodeon, the ooze from ninja turtles and ivan ooze from power rangers
Does anyone know if it was actual slime mold or just a hazardous synthetic goo?
@@coffinfeeder7732 Probably synthetic goo.
Though a slime mold would have been dope. I've always wanted to see one in real life, pulsating and wriggling.
Looks like pantera was somewhat influenced by this track when they wrote floods.
Especially the vocal mix and style sounds quite reminiscent. And Phil, being a huge Morbid Angel fan, makes it more evident.
the album's even called domination 😭
@@drag0n55oh I missed that. Good observation 😊
They burn.......I see the smoke of the funerals rising.
God lives....... In their hearts now laid to rest.
What a sight.......As their kingdom comes tumbling down.
im redescovering death metal, morbid angel was always one of my favorites
Cattle decapitation has become a behemoth, also the zenith passage is a incredible newer band.
"Domination" is one of the best Death Metal releases of all time🤘😈🤘
I met the guitarist of Morbid Angel at Morrisound studios.. I told him I loved the riff in the middle of "Where The Slime Live"
He said he got that riff from Sonic The Hedgehog ...
Im guessing its Sonic 2 "Oil Ocean"...
That sounds like a very Trey thing to say. Dude's a huge nerd.
@@jessecurle716 indeed
That riff is from anime ROBOTECH.Check it out:Robotech The 15th Squadron, right after the first minute...Trey has admitted that in varius interviews...After all,it's so obvious...
@@tsav8449 I think Trey might be a weeb
Those pinches are legendary
My favorite Morbid Angel song \m/ It`s annoying, because people always seem to think that you haven't listen to the band and only naming there most popular song.
Invitation of the continual one for me, so loud, epic
Funny, I thought "God of Emptiness" was their most popular song...
Fuck what other people say. If you know this band well, you know them well. And I hope you do. No need to justify why you like something mate....but then I guess if no one did that, UA-cam wouldn't exist....or at least, the comments section wouldn't....
The whole back catalogue of this band prior to 1995 is magnificent. There are stunning songs on all early MA albums. They're all favourites. I can't really speak to post-David Vincent MA, because for me, MA is a vastly superior band with him in it, and I kinda stopped listening after this album.
Pain Divine, World of Shit, Rebel Lands, Caesar's Palace, Dawn of the Angry, Abominations, Rapture, Desolate Ways....it just keeps going, on and on....
I like all Morbid Angel songs from the David Vincent era but this one, I mean, it's so catchy and dark at the same time. I love it🤘🤘🤘
I habitually forget there is anything other than a David Vincent era.
@@tomchips8297 totally true!
To bad Mike Browning play drums, however ENTOMBED.
3:53...."Hey Eddie, I've been listening to all your records forever and love your playing mate. What do you think of this?". 😆
Urrrghh...
The transition at 3:40 is beyond perfect!
Brrrrutal
Heard this one in the late 90's for the first time. Still coming back to it...
This album just blows me away
So. Fucking. Heavy.
Holy SHIT
"Slime mold" can refer to several varities of single-celled eukaryotic organism with the ability to join together as a larger multicellular organism. Originally considered to be a monophyletic clade and classified in the kingdom fungi, slime molds are now considered to be a polyphyletic and are classified in the kingdom protista. Many slime molds spend most of their lives in the liquid-like gelatinous state, for which they get their name, and contribute to their environment as decomposers of dead matter.
That's all very interesting, but can we not stick to what David Vincent ACTUALLY means when he sings this? Ie the repulsive leprous growth that is Christianity and its parent religion, Judaism....
this is gonna be the next album i trip too, i have a feeling this song is gonna FUCK ME UP
Nice one. It's gonna sound like Satan is speaking to you through your speakers....
They breed .....they hide---..but we see!!!! (ak47sounds)

Totally Awesome track.
i bet this would be a good song for lifting weights
Yes it is, I lift weights on it.
It just went on my gym playlist. This whole album must be great for it
This song lifts weights
@@TheAnalPunisherthis song is the weight lmao
They just sound SO MUCH BETTER with David Vincent
Permanent stink face. Shit is groovy as fuck.
2021 still makes me shit my pants
@John Rice thanks for the heads up mate, edited
Exelente
3:53 El solo mas Chimba de todos🤘
I can tell you where the slime lives
Gojira's whole sound in one track 🤘🏻
Totally ripped off from Gojira
I love Gojira to death, but holy shit I hope that's a joke
@@soulbrother5435Did gojira even exist before this track?
@@soulbrother5435such a troll!
And Mastodon
HEAVY AND FUCKING HARD! CRUNCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Top notch production on this album. The guitars gurgle, the voice here is divine (Satan is a god, after all), and Pete's drums sound crisp and well in the mix. This is groove metal for serious metalheads, not rapping poser wannabes wearing Skechers and bitching about hoes....occult literate, death metal with a sublime evilness you only find in great works of art, like some Lovecraft, and Baudelaire....
Sound like has been produced in the room of your sis
We're the slim lives is on the inside on the outside of an outlet drainage pipe.
Trey's tribute to EVH.
And Robotech (The 15th Squadron)
Does a non-live version of this song even exist?
dat solo
They added this on my birthday

I wanted to like this video but I can't just look at the likes
Gojira before it was a thing.
The bass fckin is so heavy on this track and depressing.
A lot of metalheads I've met hate this album. Don't really know the reason.
The album before it featured very heavy death grunts from Vincent. He went with more of a plain, Anselmo-style vocal on domination. Love the guitar and bass on Domination but the vocals are just bad. You can understand what he says, but at the cost of the guttural distortion he once had. Listen to the first lyric on God of Emptiness, that "LIES, & YOU FILL THEIR SOULS..." is heavier than any vocals Vincent's ever done after
1.25x Playback Speed Recommended.
You can always change it back to snail slime speed.
Damn that hits just right
eeh Nooooo sounds like crap :)
Does crap have a sound, i thought it just smelled?
@@doric_historic It sounds on the way out :)?

This true deathmetal with more talent than lorna shore... Lorna shore is the slime that lives
Deathcore is pretty soulless sounding compared to real death metal. These songs each have a distinct feeling and sounds, but shit like lorna shore their songs all sound the same
Imagine going to a comment section of a band you like to talk shit about another band. If you don't like it don't listen.
@PROJECTJoza100 imagine being as mad as you are to reply to a month+ old comment. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 lorna shore is some fruity stuff dude, it aint metal
@@Jordan.930 I replied to a comment I stubmled upon in its comment section. You feel the need to trashtalk another band in a comment section of a classic band like chill. Just listen to what you like and you can compliment that without having to shit on something else.
@@PROJECTJoza100 dude, quit being such a bitch and grow a pair
Terrible album cover, but awesome music.
Personally I think it's pretty fuckin' brvtal
@@aza7658 same here, especially the time it came out, certainly set the mood
I had this poster I got for free when I met them in 95 at a meet and greet at a local record store. David, Commando & Erik Rutan were there, Trey for some reason wasn't. Vincent was actually the coolest of all the guys, they all signed the poster
agree, it might look more brutal with more black colors tho
Yeah Monstrosity's 2nd and 3rd album covers are terrible. I am sure they never took off because no one would buy some POS cover
Buuuuut isn't this Black metal?I thought black people liked BLACK metal???🤔
Morbid Angel is death metal. Also, the song is about any (eventually) dogmatic institution, whether it be religious or not, and not about race.
Instant add to gym playlist. xD
Dedicated to Israel.
