An album that should be given MANY MORE POSITIVE REVIEWS than even MA fans give it. It's a great disc, it contains some crackers of songs, Trey is majestic, David Vincent sounds brutal as ever, and Pete is Pete!
I feel like the praise is dulled by the genuine stinkers on this album, at least in my opinion. The interludes are kinda crap, and hatework is just a boring slog of a song. Other than those tough, this album is fantastic

I catch myself wondering if Morbid Angel is better than Death? No matter though who cares anyway better or worse. Both seminal bands.
Trey and David tip it for me. Trey is the most brilliant guitarist I've ever heard. And David Vincent has the perfect voice for this kind of music ...Chuck just yelps and does these high pitched wails....just doesn't do it for me....

Morbid angel have more unusual musical stylings, and I would say are more "death" than death. Death have a more traditional "thrash" elements.both are amazing bands nonetheless.
