Can't believe David Vincent isn't in Morbid Angel anymore, he's definitely my favorite vocalist from this band. I think it's the unique voice, rare to hear a death metal singer who is so audible with the lyrics and also melodic.
@@andrewsawdon2170 really? Personally I loved domination, however that album moved away from classic death metal to more of a sludge sound which I enjoy
Most brilliant live footage I've seen in a while, flawless mix. Absolutely Loved that snare echo, a lot more bands should do that....Theatrics is such a big part of music....that live atmosphere and dynamic needs to make a come back.
@@momomono795 nah I can understand Pete Sandoval. But Dave hardly contributed. Other than some lyrics and Lions Den. Every guitarist they've had contributed more than Dave. Dave is more charismatic but Steve is better
@@slicecuts21 Nah, Dave is tons better than Steve. Steve has boring, typical, death metal vocals. Dave still has some of the best vocals in Death Metal. And Dave contributed a lot more than you give him credit for. Trey did the riffs, but you can tell Dave did came up with the melody parts to go with the lyrics. Morbid's music is still technically amazing without Dave, but the songs completely lack any catchiness to them. Dave made those songs memorable. I find Steve's album's unmemorable. Dave's new band Vltimas is better than the last Morbid Angel album. Even a guy who loves Formulas Fatal to the Flesh told me it was forgettable.
Yeah me too... now the current lineup is not worth to interested. They're like regular one of the thousands death metal bands... nothing special and excited. I don't feel anything about them. Poor Trey...
I'm so fucking bummed I'll never see this performed live. When I was in 8th grade way back when this song defined how I wanted to play drums. That level of double pedal, the rhythm, the vocals, man this song has so much nostalgia attached to it.
@@molochz and Morbid Angel hasn't released a decent album since the late 90's. Like Metallica the newer, awful material doesn't completely negate the earlier work that was imapctful.
Seen them live on the Covenant tour and again when this album got released. At that time no one could touch top them. The mix on this show is awesome! How the greats have fallen since...
It does my head in nowadays when I go to see one of the classic death metal bands from the late 80s early 90s, basically as long as they have two original members in the band they use the name it crap I'd prefer them to use the band name but actually say featuring Such and such on the guitars, or with our new guitarist and drummer.
It’s a whole band of Glen Danzigs
I think he agrees with you @ 1:07
Morbid Danzigs
I was about to compare David to Nikki Sixx, but you might be right. Anyway this nerdy security guard steals the show.
i died

Agree, the vocalist in Vader is also really clear (KILLS live too)
David Vincent is indeed the greatest death metal front man of all time. Nobody comes close!
He was a fantastic vocalist until Domination imo. Nowadays he just seems like a caricature of his younger self
Love him on bass too.
@@andrewsawdon2170 really? Personally I loved domination, however that album moved away from classic death metal to more of a sludge sound which I enjoy
The main riff is massive as fuck.
Trey still has that same Ibanez Universe from when recorded this song. Love it.
I swear that man only owns 4 guitars. So sick.

Killin that double bass drum
Trey's solo sounds just amazing as in the studio album, this guy is legend!!
He is exactly who he says he is.. dark Enchanter, Master magician Azagthoth with phD in quantum physics who's fav game is Quake 3 arena
Nikki Sixx still looks pretty good.
He plays good metal too

dude? This band is way better than Fucking Nikki Dix and Motley Smue

The drums, guitar, bass, and vocals all sound good at this show...good mix
Haha the security guy in the beginning looks like he is just waiting for a bus, casually sips water and puts it down. Think about it lol

That stick spin tho
My brother Phil and I would smoke and listen to this before bed and they was like our bed time story. Damn that was the best.
Tim is the Mike Mangini of Death Metal. Flawless technique, clean, fast and accurate as f.
Vincent is such an amazing vocalist! By faaaar the best Morbid ever had/has
What a charisma that man and personality in his voice in comparison with Tucker.

Best Azaghtoth solo!
Dave has so much personality in his vocals. That’s sorely missing in Morbid Angel now. I do like Tucker, but he’s stiff as a board on stage.
no morbid without vincent

One of the best Morbid line-ups for sure
Not agree. Best Morbid Angel line-up was David Vincent - Trey Azagthoth - Erik Rutan - Pete Sandoval.
The sound is PERFECT!!!!
Saw them in 2005 with the Azaghthoth, Vincent, Sandoval, Rutan lineup. What a fuckin' memory.
Jeez, what a performance! I don't like death metal, but even I like it!
Tim casually doing stick flips like no big deal.
Saw them with tucker and he was no slouche. Wish I had oppurtunity to see them with Vincent
Tim young has so much style it's ridiculous.
The way he slowly raises an arm then drops it like a hammer while keeping his other rhythms looks sick.
Ten drummer jest niesamowity.
David only needs two strings on his bass.
One string and two frets. At times, he doesn't even need a bass, like starting at 2:07 :)
amazing drummer 🥁
this is glorious
I love this version.. Personaly it's better than orginal version from Domination
Just perfect
Can we take a moment to appreciate how incredible Tim Yeung is ?
That would be the drummer for those not aware....
thanks bro. when i looking at 1:49 this momment, i decide to find this guy.
