Guitarist Eyal Levi: "It's funny to say this because ‘Where The Slime Live’ is a total classic, but I've been feeling like people have not been giving Trey and co their due for the massive impact they've had on the evolution of metal. Not that our version of this song is going to change the world, but if any Morbid Angel song deserves the modern treatment, it's this one. Everything about it more than holds up and showcasing it in this fashion really illuminates how ahead of their time they were. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed learning and interpreting this BANGER of a song!"

This is probably THE song I attribute to getting me into extreme metal. My uncle let me choose a song on his iPod and I saw the art thought the band and track name were cool and clicked it. Turned my ass into a metal head for life with that opening. This is an INCREDIBLE cover. I knew this would be amazing and it is.

Daath just comes out of a 15 year slumber and drops banger after banger. Still can’t believe they’re back and definitely can’t believe they’re covering this song with Dave from Revocation.
Morbid Angel is by far my favorite "OG" American Death Metal band. Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Edge of Sanity, and Dismember have made albums that I still go back to to this day. Domination, Formulas, and Gateways have some of the absolute best songs from any of those original bands who crafted and expanded the genre and subsequent sub-genres. Over all the times I've seen them live, this is one of those songs that is impossible not to headbang to. Amazing cover!
