  • Today my mom and sister make their way home from a weekend at my house and I busy myself with preserving the left overs from dinner as well as this past weeks canning activities! I hope this gave you inspiration to get creative with your left overs and maybe you might have a few ideas for me as well! Thank you so much for watching :)
    Kombucha
16 Cups of water (or 1 Gallon) *filtered is preferable
    12 Black Tea Bags
    1.5 Cups of Sugar
Scoby + 1 Cup unflavored Kombucha Liquid
Boil 2 cups of water to dissolve your sugar in. Add your tea bags and let steep for ten minutes. Remove bags and add remainder of room temperature water. Add to a vessel with scoby + liquid. Wait 5-14 days (depending on room temperature) . Taste test throughout the week and I found that having the house as cold as we do sometimes (65 Fahrenheit) has killed my scoby before so a heating pad is recommended.

    A. You could have used 75 mins for that broth and chicken. B.wide mouth jars arent the greatest for broth you have to make sure they have calmed down in the canner itself before removing them they are volatile, angry .... Nice video anyway.. Real life right?

Of course! Yeah, after thinking about it I’m wondering if I accidentally quick released the pressure on it without meaning to. I was pretty tired by the end of the night and after using my pressure cooker earlier in the day it’s definitely possible I got a little confused for a minute lol
