Having recently started to try and collect Stormblood Triple Triad cards I have a new appreciation for them as Moogle Treasure Trove prizes. Took my days of grinding out to get Poisontongue. I'll be taking that Gilgamesh card (or at least saving some tomes until I unlock it as you suggested), kind of lame that I have to unlock Titania to get her card, like why is it that Triple Triad are the only kind of reward that are restricted like this?

I had no idea that you can't get Triple Triad cards in the Moogle Treasure Trove event until you are able to get normally. Why bother with putting Triple Triad cards in the Moogle Event if you can't buy them until you are able to farm for them? There goes my plan to get a killer deck early. X(
I would disagree about the MGP being low priority. The fact that you can get tomes while doing Gates is huge because it can double dip your efforts. For people who are working on the Triple Triad mount, there are several cards that can only be obtained from the Triple Triad trader for upwards of 200k+ MGP. And that doesn’t even account for the ones that can only be gotten in packs Couple that with the expensive MGP mounts, and the ticket becomes a high prior item, for sure.
I'd say that using Gates to get tomes devalues the Platinum Cards even more so as you are now gaining MGP from the even without even need to use tomes. But I appreciate your perspective.

Anyway here are the high priority items: Mameshiba Neckerchief Antelope Doe Horn (For mount collectors) Titania Barding Dhalmel Whistle Twilight over Thanalan Orchestrion Roll Late Allagan Armor (only High priority for trial players) Stormblood Gilgamesh Card Little Leannan
I can't wait to do this with my bf. I can finally get some free mounts! We've been trying to play 14 together but I'm lvl 50 and he's 80 lmfao I'm free trial and he pays, so it's hard for us.
I can't ever get a party as a free trial player to farm mounts maybe Im just too shy lol. I got all the ARR ones do you think free trial can solo any of the other ones?
I have never attempted, maybe a full BiS 70 Warrior could successfully attempt a 60 EX trial if you know and follow the mechanics (I have my doubts about Throdan's Reign). But my real suggestion is get in the habit of keeping an eye on the PF and look for mount parties. I've seen quite a few lately. Just while you are playing every once in a while open the PF and check the trials tab. You'll be surprised how often a mount party is up.
wuss ? you are able to farm MGP as soon you set foot into the Gold Saucer because GATEs happen every 20 mins, mini cactpot every day and jumbo cactpot every saturday. aside from those fixed events other activities in the saucer are available immediately Wondrous Tails also pays MGP it you decide so, comes lvl 60
I think getting an easily obtained currency during a limited time event sits fine at a low priority, especially because this is a prize at every Treasure Trove event.
3:30 regarding antelope mount and for confirmation: my _antelope stag mount_ was earned via retainer and field exploration. it may take a while though :)

Well the Stormblood Gilgamesh card is still worth it, because it is a pretty rare drop from the trial. But I get what you are saying.

The bomb mount is absolutely worth it to save you the gil cost. Even if you do rank up the tribe it will cost you 120k gil.
Well from a trial player's perspective spending 120k is not only worth it, it's a bonus.
I think you are underselling the MGP ticket a little. MGP is not that farmable, 50k makes difference

Um, there is rarely a time after doing a single set of Ishgardian Fetes that I don't get an Antilope Stag Horn as a prize. Barely any time at all.
