At the end of the video, I talk about not liking the Green Touch Industries blower rack for the Echo PB-9010T blower. Do any of you use the Equipment Defender blower rack and if so, do you like it? I want one that is better at securing my Echo 9010 than what I currently have.
1st time purchasing a gas powered leafblower (BP9010T) . Read the instructions but your video made things so much easier. Was curious about the static wire when looking at the photo and reading the instructions which wasnt too clear the until I watched your video. It was pretty easy to put together . Thanks for the vids and the comments
I have the 8010T version never had one issue. Thing is powerful and I have a bad back AS with flareups and sure it gets heavy on bad days but not overly heavy. Homeowner so I use it about 2 hours max about 8 times a year so it has low run hours. Only ever used Red Armor premix but its to high now think I have one can left. Still looks brand new and I keep it in our spare bedroom. Well worth the money. She can move wet leaves easy 😂 a true beast
Thank you for everything you shared. It was very helpful to me!😊 I figured the rest of the assembly process out with visual only. It was much easier for me up to the point where ceased vocalizing the process. Again, thank you so much for everything you shared! I’m subscribing! 😊
It is pretty easy and I thought it was going to be more difficult. Every other blower I've bought has been put together by my dealer before purchase. You're welcome too! Glad This video helped, no matter how small. I appreciate the comment and the sub!
Oil I use isEcho power blend gold I’ve been using this for years and all my trimmers and backpacks never had an issue. Some of my equipment is like seven years old never no problem.
I just bought one of these today to rotate into our fall clean up tools and It beats our Sthil BR800's hands down! Our enclosed trailer is out fitted with Equipment Defender racks and this thing barely fits and that bar does not fit very well, even adjusted all the way up the shaft the bar will squish down on the plastic and probably break it sooner or later specially when it's cold out and the plastic is brittle. I still use it but don't put the bar across the blower and when the tube is secure in it's bracket it's not going anywhere but on a equipment trailer like yours it might be a problem.
Interesting. My 9010 fits really well in the Equipment Defender rack and the bar doesn't interfere with the air filter cover at all. The only issue I have with the rack is the tube holder kinda being too close to the rack and it not fitting very well. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@LawnCareNinja I know a shop owner that swear by it and I had a echo pb-650 that was acting up and was about to rebuild the carb. I decided to try the red armor and in 10 minutes of switching it ran like new and has been for a couple yrs with no problems.
Interesting. I'll keep that in mind if I start to experience problems. DO you use it in Just Echo equipment or do you use it in other companies equipment too?
When 1st starting, don't forget to press the little primer bulb underneath several times to prime the engine. The instruction/assembly manual that comes with the unit does not make this clear. I never could get my new unit to start after choking. I must have pulled on the starter rope 30 or 40 times before I discovered the primer bulb. I was starting to get really frustrated and cuss after spending $700 for this blower. LOL😁😁
Yeah, I just figured that everyone knew that. I'll be sure to mention that if I do another video that has a primer. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks for the video I just purchased the same blower for fall cleanup where I live where did you get that gas can that is super sweet please let me know thank you
You're welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting! You will love the Echo PB-9010, incredibly powerful (and loud) and gets the job done so much quicker! It's called Sure Can. Best fuel cans out there in my opinion. Check them out here: www.surecanusa.com/
@@LawnCareNinja thank you very much for getting back to me I just looked at the website and I will be ordering one have a lot of lawn equipment I have three acres I have to bowl and then I have 40 acres of woods I have a lot of land to take care of them have a Merry Christmas
According to Echo, the octane rating should be a minimum of 89 and no more than 10% ethanol. If it makes sense for you to get ethanol free fuel, do it. The fuel i use I think have like 7.5% ethanol in it and my blower is still going strong. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I always get the ethanol-free for my 2-stroke gas equipment. It's worth it to have a little less garbage in it, imo. Bought a jug of 2 stroke Aspen gas this year. It was $30, but I don't go through a lot of gas until fall clean-up usually, & if it prolongs the life of the machines I've spent so much money on, it's worth it to me.
@5:41 There is a graphic saying it is an anti-static wire. Air moving through the tube can produce an electrical static charge. This helps discharge it, so it does not get you and potentially igniting a fuel source. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I love these blowers for leaves! It's a little overkill for grass clippings, but it makes quick work of that and everything else. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@lawn care ninja do you recommend the 9010 for kids? my uncle whats to bye my pb 265 of me and he said if i sell him the 265 i can get whatevery blower i want because i can grow into the 9010.
How old are you? It's a big blower, but I think most anyone could handle it. Even just for leaves, it makes a huge difference! You could maybe try the 8010, just a little smaller and packs a nice punch for grass and leaves. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@lorrokeefe110 If you can get a great deal on the 8010, get that. If all you can get is the 9010, go for it and don't look back. 8010 and 9010 are the best blowers out there IMHO. Both are time savers and money makers!

How much oil does it call for?
