    Great video. I have both the 8010T & the 9010T and both are great. I really like the 9010T, its very strong and handles all my lawn care needs. Inregards to the small jobs, I use a smaller hand held blower. Several of my lawn care owner/ freinds, also have the 9010T and love them. Lots of power and sounds great !! If you are taller, like me at 6 foot 2, this long blower tube works perfect.. Nice job Echo X

    I love the PB9010T blower and the speed in getting the job done and the Red Armor oil the best combination that will keep your blowers running
    for years with no down time. by far it's the best by no question.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess

      Yes no doubt it is an awesome blower. I love mine as well. The power it puts out and the ability that gives you to move leaves quickly outweighs the cons it may have. That being said this unit is definitely a specialty blower meant for big cleanups and not meant for daily lawn maintenance. Thanks for watching.

    I have the 9010 and I absolutely love it. Others have complained about the weight, stiff tube, and the fact it snags on things like bushes. Personally I don’t think it’s heavy but I’m not a commercial user so running it for a few hours a week is a different animal then running it all day every day. I agree the tube is not as flexible as other blowers but it’s a non issue for me I just turn my body and walk sideways when I need to blow at a sharp angle. As for snags I don’t go into brush with it as I use it after I clear the brush out with a brush cutter. All in all I have only two complaints with mine, I wish it had more power! Seriously I thought it would be overkill when I bought it but honestly I’d gladly take one that is heavier and has more power. I wish it had a bigger gas tank this thing is thirsty and requires frequent refills I get about an hour out of a tank and it would be nice to have more runtime.

    Thanks, I was looking to upgrade my PB-580 for this grass fire season. I may look at the 770 but will avoid the 80cc units for sure. I am a smaller guy and need the lightest thing I can lug through the pastures and woods. Appreciate it.

    It’s a lot lighter than that 75 pound rucksack I carried in the military. I just bought one and have zero complaints. It blows the doors off of Bernie other leaf blower I have ever owned no pun intended. They should’ve sent one to me for free

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  Рік тому +1

      Yes definitely a lot of other things you can carry that are heavier. Thank you for your service by the way. It does pack a punch and is great for leaf cleanups. The rest of the year the additional power is overkill and unnecessary, but use whatever you feel the need for in your business. Free stuff is cool. Unfortunately nothing is free. It all comes at a price. Most of that is paid in advance in the hundreds of hours creating content and helping people consistently for years without earning a dime to build an audience and following big enough for brands to send you something for “free” with no guarantee that they will. Then when and if they do, you still have to spend hours to document and record your experience using the “Free” item to create even more content around that item. Thanks for watching.

First I thought I would go to Echo PB-9010, but now I will keep using RedMax EBZ-8500 because it still works well for my yard. Thanks for sharing your review of pros & cons of Echo PB-9010T.

    I bought the 9010T. I have a LOT of leaves on my small property, and I have been able to blow areas that I've never been able to get to before! I borrowed a Stihl 800 X from my job, and it doesn't hold a candle to this Echo. Weight and fuel consumption aside, this is the level of power I needed for my yard!

    I’ve used one a couple years now. First yard, the elbow started popping out from the pressure. Never could get it fixed. That and the weight have been the only issues. It’s fine in the spring and fall (probably when it should realistically be used) but in the summer, every pound matters when it’s 100 degrees out. And it feels like a load of bricks on your back.
    Oh and it really does suck down the fuel.

    Its definitely a beast of a blower, moves massive amount of air. almost 2 or 3 770 blowers worth. i agree with most of your cons. I hope they continue to refine and improve it. like you say more of a heavy cleanup blower.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess

      Yeah it’s a beast for sure, and I definitely recommend it to anyone doing leaf cleanups. Especially if your a solo operator. Even for just using it strictly for fall leaf cleanups. In fact that’s what I would recommend. Just use it for leaf cleanups only. According to the specs it’s actually more like 1.5 of the 770’s by air volume. Thanks for watching.

    Excellent review, Julio. Very thorough and specific. I got a chance to try out the 9010T at GIE, it was impressive that this thing can roll bricks on grass but bigger isn't necessarily better. I did notice the weight. I run a Redmax EBZ7500 and am used to that pretty much. It still is a bit on the heavy side for me but the performance of it outweighs the weight of it. I can see where the added power of the 9010T is beneficial to you in the fall with the wet and dense leaves. Having something as powerful as the 9010T is almost like having the output of a walk-behind blower with the portability of a backpack unit...sort of. I can imagine close quarters cleanup can be a bit difficult with not only the size but also keeping the output in check. Interesting you note the open engine design, my Redmax is the same way. I've not had any issue with torn lines and it does make working on the carb easier. I guess overall it depends on what your needs are. I agree with your assessment, this isn't a blower to use for post mow cleanups - it's for fall cleanups. Overall, Echo makes great stuff across the board. I have owned trimmers and hedge trimmers made by them through the years, not an ounce of trouble outside of an occasional carb cleaning/rebuilding.

      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  Рік тому +2

      Definitely. Always room for improvement. Unfortunately ECHO doesn’t seem to concerned when users point out minor improvements that can be made. For example I pointed out the terrible top handle design on the 770 blower. It’s smooth on one side and very uncomfortable on the other side when you grip it. Would be very easy to make a cover or a smooth rounded plug to snap into the injection molded part or something that would make it easier to hold without the plastic digging into your hand. I’ve seen others point out the same issue and they don’t do anything about it. Thanks for watching.

    I definitely prefer the 770 for my daily blower. My 8010 just doesnt fit my body like the 770 and the weight is an issue like you said. I'm not sure but the weight difference in carrying more fuel has an impact as well, and it does suck down the gas. Adding a hand held blower to daily use is on my agenda as well. Great content! Thank you

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  2 роки тому +2

      The weight difference between the 770 and 8010 would only be the increased fuel capacity as both blowers weigh the same despite the size difference. With the 8010 they utilized carbon fibre for the entire frame and fan housing to keep the weight the same. With the new 9010 they ditched the carbon fibre and went back to traditional material which is why the unit weighs 2 lbs more than the 770 and 8010. Thanks for watching.

      I’m not sure. Lots of things to consider. I don’t use a backpack blower for snow but I would guess the more power the better for that job. Especially if you’re in an area that gets lots of snow. The biggest downside with the 9010 is the extra weight and noise. It’s very loud. But then again the extra power would mean you are done faster. Thanks for watching.

    I just purchased one two weeks ago. I have mixed feelings about this machine. I previously owned a BR 600 and I swear that blower works better than the echo. I don’t know if it’s the circumference of the Echo tube or what but I don’t see or feel more power from the 9010T. I guess I should give it more time. Example: we had grass over growing the edges of the concrete parking lot and the BR600 would LIFT THE GRASS AND DIRT UP. I don’t feel like the 9010 blower could do it due to the size of the tube. It may be blowing more air volume but it’s doesn’t feel directed and powerful

      The PB-770T is almost the perfect blower. Just wish they would put some rubber or something to make that dang top handle more comfortable to hold. 😂 For heavy cleanups though, the PB-9010 is like using 1.5 of the 770’s. Sew on a chest strap and a waist strap - put the weight on your hips,
    Get rid of the orange plastic,
    Cut off some of the nozzle but epoxy the curved end onto the stub because you need a convergent duct to maintain pressure gradient as designed,
    Get rid of the air filter and inlet duct monstrosity and fit a motorbike pod type filter to the carb,
    Look for frame stuff to cut off and maybe replace with something lighter - does that tank need the massive support it seems to have - it weighs only 3.9 Lb when full,
    Does the steel muffler weigh much ? I'd replace it with a larger lighter aluminium one - would be easy to fabricate and do better noise suppression, keep the same outlet size but facing downwards not out.

      It’s a huge machine and totally overkill for most situations, but the thing I’ve come to learn is everyone’s needs are different. I have seen guys on social media doing some insanely huge leaf cleanups and I guess having the extra power would be good for that. For most guys though I agree it’s not necessary. The 770 has enough power and is heavy enough. I use a handheld blower all season until leaf cleanups start and even then I wish I could use the handheld. 😂 Thanks for watching.

      Ahh. That’s kinda funny as it was how I felt about that Honda trimmer. It was good but just too much of a pain to need to do oil changes so frequently. Two stroke is so much easier. Pour a pre measured bottle of oil mix in your preferred fuel can of the correct size and fill with fuel. I use a small 1 gallon Jerry can and use the smallest size ECHO Red Armor oil mix container that are designed to be used with 1 gallon of fuel. Super easy and no measuring. Plus the red Armor oil mix has fuel stabilizer inside. So no need to winterize equipment either.

    Not a bad blower, but I prefer redmax...overall, I don't really like echo, because most of it feels more homeowner quality and I had a hc2020 absolutely sucked wrote a negative but honest review and echo keeps deleting it...does not take constructive criticism from customers...not hating on the video or people who use echo, I actually work very closely with another guy who uses echo, but I've had subpar luck with echo, though they're not the worst in the world

      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  2 роки тому +3

      Gotta use what works for you. Redmax is not even a factor to consider here. They seem to be a more east coast regional brand. Heard good things about them but they are just not really represented on the west coast. For me ECHO has been solid and ultra reliable. But it’s no surprise. Tough to beat small Japanese engines. (Yes all their 2 stroke engines are made in Japan) I use to think like you as well that ECHO was homeowner quality. What I learned was that is a lot of great marketing by Stihl to have ads that say you can only get stihl at your dealer. You won’t find us at Home Depot etc. Essentially programming your sub conscious mind to believe that, and it works. It’s the number one thing I hear from people. What they fail to mention in the ads is that stihl does make low end homeowner equipment. It’s all the stuff they sell that is mostly in grey plastic with touches of orange, where as their commercial line is mostly orange with touches of grey. Every brand has different levels for different price points. I use to use all stihl stuff because I was told or led to believe that it is the best. My experience was that it requires a ton of maintenance. Especially the 4 mix engines. Once I switched to ECHO. The maintenance became almost nothing. In fact since 2017 the only maintenance on any ECHO stuff I have done is clean out the spark arrestor screen on a 2620. That’s it. Still same, spark plug, air filter, fuel filter etc and run on regular 87 gas with ethinol mixed with red Armor oil. Thanks for watching.

I found after using a backpack blower all year for the first 10 years in business that it was actually faster for me to use a handheld blower for most of the year until leaves start falling. I know that there is a good chance that executives at ECHO will see this video with me being a part of their UAG program and this gives them an idea on ways they can make an already excellent machine even better for more people. Since this video was published I’ve had lots of people comment or DM me about ways they have added their own chest straps or that they cut the blower tube shorter etc. so obviously these are pain points for lots of people. Companies truly trying to make the best products will welcome the honest feedback. ECHO and Exmark are two examples of companies that have encouraged me to share my honest feedback in videos. In fact in a video I did about an Exmark product where I pointed out a design flaw they thanked me for the video and redesigned the product because of what I pointed out. Thanks for watching.
