    When I seen that initial path made in the thick leaves I was immediately sold. My poor old Stihl just doesn’t have it in her anymore for heavy duty stuff, still runs great, but being out in the sticks this thing would save me so much time during peak fall leaf season

      Use Aspen or Stihl alkylate fuel with Saber or Interceptor oil. Burns clean and allows the engine to scream to the max. Enjoy.

      @@laurapalmerTDGE Is that any different than the 2023 model 9010 or is it the same? I'm looking to by one too now...was looking at the stihl 800ce but that needs more maintenance..plus coast more and less power but reaches 239 mph tho....I'm not happy with my ryobi 760 cfm 175 mph...2nd one I got in 3 months and still having problems starting it. I'm returning it for 9010...what you think?
      And hows ur 9010 runing?

    • @laurapalmerTDGE
      @laurapalmerTDGE 8 місяців тому +2

      @@goovitoo Hello.
      Above all, you have to remember that with a 9010 you get about the most powerful thing you can imagine, and that this should in no way be compared to Ryobi.
      A Stihl BR series requires little maintenance, possibly having the valves adjusted if deemed necessary. Other regular maintenance such as filters, spark plugs, etc. That's all.
      The 9010 has a simple engine architecture, i.e. two-stroke, with which little can go wrong. The Spark Arrestor can become clogged if the wrong oil and/or fuel is used. It is therefore advisable to use the correct fuel. Also, if you use the engine sufficiently wide open, the exhaust will reach temperature and then the carbon will burn.
      Don't hesitate, a 9010 literally offers you everything you need.

    This was a very good presentation of how the Echo PB 9010T works, and what it is capable of when blowing across various things in your yard, aside from leaves. That is a great blower! If people don't want to hire a landscaper to do your yard leaves, then the Echo PB 9010T backpack leaf blower may be what you need. If you don't have very large foot tall leaves in your yard, you may be able to do you leaves with a smaller/cheaper backpack or handheld leaf blower. Some brand leaf blowers last longer than others, so do your homework there. I have a smaller Echo PB 2520 that works good for me. I think Echo is a reliable brand. I think the key to getting rid of leaves in any yard is to determine the amount of leaves in your yard first like by the height or density, afterwards try to figure how much 'Mph' and 'Cfm' you will need in a leaf blower to completely remove the leaves from your yard whether they are wet or dry. Dry leaves are easy to blow and move, but 'wet ' leaves absorb the moisture of water and gain possibly 2 to 3 times or more of the weight of dry leaves. Wet leaves are hard to blow, move, and even rake! The higher the Cfm and Mph of any blower, the better chance you have to completely remove your leaves. All leaf blowers are not created equal, and the amount of CFM and MPH varies from each brand/model of leaf blower. I hope this info helps anyone viewing my comment here, because it took me a while to learn and understand all of this MPH/CFM technical stuff. I wish i would have knew it sooner, it could have saved me many hours of leafwork in my yard each year!

    • @IndyFarmLife
      @IndyFarmLife  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks! Yes. To keep it simple, find the highest CFM/MPH you can, and you are in business! The PB9010 has both. Just for fun, you should go look at the specs on the 3pt tractor blowers. They are insane!

      @@IndyFarmLife i checked the info on the tractor blowers. That was incredible! Never known of them. Have you heard of a 'Turbine' or 'Hurricane' blower? You can ride a Hurricane blower, and some put out 8500 CFM at 165 mph with 35 HP!! A Hurricane blower can cost up to $10,000. I just never realized there were so many types of blowers. There are other types of blowers also, may be too many to mention here though. Those blowers are timesavers though.

    I have the Echo PB-580T, really impressive blower, it actually looks pretty comparable to the PB-9010 in regards to moving leaves. I just moved about the same amount/depth of leaves this past week. The 580 does not have the reach, but it still gets the job done. Just for you folks on a budget.

    • @Trump985
      @Trump985 10 місяців тому +3

      I had the 580 and I upgraded to the 9010. Let me tell you it’s a nigh and day difference. This unit will get the job done in half the time. I’m my opinion spending a couple hundred more bucks more is a no brainer to save yourself a few hours a week of your precious day off is worth every penny. My only regret is that I didn’t buy the 9010 sooner. The 9010 just clears a much larger swath then the 580. Kinda like going from a 42 in mower deck to a 60 inch deck.

    It does not kick ass like I expected.
    I wondering if there’s anything I can do to increase its output. I’m considering fashioning a tube to extend the blower wand so the output is closer to the ground (maybe that will make it more effective)

I currently am working 3rd shift 10pm to 6 am and have 2 magnolia trees amd 9 oak trees from previous owner. The leaves are outta control and making my yard look ratty. I purchased a P.O.S. middle of the road model Husq off marketplace and it SUCKS man. This is what i need because those magnolias drop year round and the leaves are half foot thick in some areas. When i get up i dont need to stand and ine place 5 damn minutes and swipe swipe swipe swipe to move a half ass amount of leaves then have to go over it again and again and again. Power is great but ergonomics and cheapness in plastic have made many others stay away. Bare minimum mod that needs done is a buckle on the chest straps to keep them in place. If you can live w that and the cheap plastic you will be happy but till they step up the game in quality/ergonomics stihl 800 is a better choice imo.

      Ehh, I haven’t noticed any problems with the quality of the plastic. I’ve seen one review where someone complained about the straps, but that hasn’t been an issue for me either. I haven’t bothered to weigh them, but the 9010 definitely feels lighter than my 755. Stihl makes great products, I’m just not a fan. For the price and performance, I’m sticking with Echo.

      ^^^^This guy gets it! If I was Lou Ferrigno you can bet money I would be hulking out with 3k CFM on my back. Watch out kids, daddy is in tornado mode again!

      Plastic is everywhere these days. My John Deere 4052R has a poly hood and I wouldn't trade that machine for anything. Everyone has their preferences and that's ok. For me personally, I'll take the extra power/performance (+20% over the BR800) to sacrifice a few creature comforts. The chest strap would be helpful, but the shoulder pads on the 9010 are pretty nice. Thanks for joining in the conversation. I always like to hear other opinions!

      Straps seem fine to me. I would imagine the biggest complaint Echo may get is from those users who are under 150lbs! This thing would be tough to wrestle at that weight. ha

    Stihl 800, stronger , lighter and more powerful and I own both.

      How do you figure? The Stihl is lighter, but the Echo wins in all other categories but for air speed. It has 198 more CFM and 7 more newtons of force. I'll take the couple extra lbs on my back any day.
