I appreciate when the instructors repeat what they have already said. I know some people get annoyed by this, but it really helps me. Alejandra talks at a very nice pace which helps me absorbe all the information much faster.

Thank you Micah and Alejandra, you guys gave us great driving lessons. You are cool and calm. Easy to understand. I've been watching most of your videos countless times before I took my test. Thanks God, I passed my test today! To all who are going to take the test, watch the videos and apply it in your practice. Be confident in your driving. This video helps alot as i feel very discouraged taking my first lessons yesterday and i kept overturning and I still need to learn to when to make a sharp turn and when to just go easy on the wheel. Lifes been pretty hard for ne growing up and i guess that also can prevent me from concentrating.
Thanks for sharing! Keep your head up and keep practicing, it gets easier as you get the hang of it. You can do it for sure!!
I feel you. My instructor just yelled at me while driving for overturning and truth be told, I wanted to give up driving as a whole after.
The best video I watch here
Commenting out again for this video. I have applied all these tips and lessons here for the Left turn (and Right turn in your other video) in my Practical Driving Lesson yesterday 25 July 2023. This video is really a great help for new learners like me. Thank you so much 🥰
Thanks for sharing that with us, best of luck to you as you continue learning and practicing!

Thank you so much very helpful information
Glad it was helpful! Thanks!!
Finally i got what i wanted thanks dear
Thank you!
I’ve watched a bunch of videos & this is by far the BEST - clear, concise, shows each step & shows each POV.
question: for rolling left turns with oncoming traffic, would you not pull up to the middle of the intersection & then wait for the car to pass before turning?
Thank you so much and great question! Regarding how far you should pull into the intersection while waiting to turn left: it really depends on how big the intersection is. You should always AT LEAST pull out until your left-mirror passes the curb (like this: ua-cam.com/video/QEds_x1c6Ow/v-deo.html), but on wider intersections you will probably go out a little further, about 1/4 or 1/3 of the way into the intersection. I would not recommend going ½ way into the intersection - that will be too far and if there is traffic across from you also turning left, you will be in each other’s way (if you can envision that).
Hope that helps!

Very good

Nice video. Watching many videos, I noticed there are variations in push and pull and hand over hand. On other videos, when doing a push pull and turning left, it will begin with the left hand going at 12 oclock, then pull at 6 oclock with the right hand meeting it there. What's the best push-pull method for beginners?
Hello! Great observation and you are 100% correct, there are many ways for a proper turn to be executed. Sometimes that will depend on what your local government requires, other times it will be a personal preference. We teach our students hand-over-hand first because we want them to fully understand how to control the vehicle. Once they have the hang of that, we teach the push pull or shuffle method because it can be a little safer when it comes to airbags deploying. In general, this is the best advice I can give you, whatever method you use:
- Always use two hands if you can, and position your hands on opposite sides of the wheel
- When you choose a hand position, use the one that makes you feel most in control of the vehicle. Depending on your body size, arm length, and the size of your steering wheel, that can vary from person to person. In general, 10 and 2, 9 and 3, and 8 and 4 are all good positions, but the lower down on the wheel you go, the safer for when an airbag deploys and the less likely you'll over-steer.
- If you are comfortable with push-pull, that is a good choice because it adds additional safety for airbag deployment.
Hope that helps!
Very useful video thanks

I was looking for some information on making Left Turn against on coming traffic, and making sure the way is clear with a vehicle in the opposite turning lane obstructing the view of oncoming traffic lanes.
Here's a specific example that might help you out, but give the whole video a watch if you struggle with left turn anxiety: ua-cam.com/video/Zgg9tg-BC_4/v-deo.htmlsi=ZlyOBTNe1OKYvVP7&t=1399
Thanks for watching!
I came back again in this video to simply say "Thank you" to both of you for this simple and yet very informative video (same thing goes with the Right Turns Video)
Last oct 22, i passed the final road test and got my driving license. we got our car last 6th of nov. and i've been enjoying it.
whenever i make right and left turns i remember you guys. :) Thanks a lot. 🥰
This may not be the only video/channels i watched for car driving lessons/tips but this channel is one of the best choices for those learning how to drive safely and defensively.
God Bless your whole team.🙌
P.S. this does not mean i will stop watching videos from this channel, there's still a lot of things to learn.
Hello again and thank you! Really inspiring feedback and it means the world to us that you found our videos helpful. Please stay safe out there and see you on the road!! 😊
I like your video
Thank you!
Now I know how
Thanks for sharing!
A steering wheel is mandatory for the left turn.
I wish I could apply in there school ❤
Awe, thank you!
Me too I wanna be in a driving class
Sometimes I just want to suddenly come to a complete halt so tailgaters hit the back of me.
omg at 20.11, the text is being taken by a passing by car, nice editing hahahaha
I believe that you just made our editors day by noticing that lol. Thank you!
Hello if going left turn and theres 3 lanes on the left going to the right, when should i put my car or mirror before turning?
Hello, great question!. You'll want to go about a third of the way into the intersection before you start your turn. I think this video will help you with that concept: ua-cam.com/video/Zgg9tg-BC_4/v-deo.html Hope that helps!
I like ur bidio
I go to sleep while listening to this Video. 3 or 4 time I tried but it mad me sleep 🛌 sleep 😴 😅 I don’t know why 😅😅
Thanks for listening, glad we could help you get some rest😅

I am unclear on why blind spot checks are needed on left turns. Do you also look over left shoulder before moving into left turning lane where center median is present? Thank you guys
Hello! That is a great observation and question, and one many students ask... "why are we looking over our left shoulders before going into left turn lanes?". Checking our blind spots before changing lanes allows us to see what we may have missed in our mirrors. Entering a left turn lane is technically a lane change, so we need to check our blind spots first, just in case. For example, an impatient car behind you might be trying to get into the left turn lane and pass you quickly on the left (this has actually happened to me a few times). Also, checking over your shoulder allows you to quickly scan the bike lanes and sidewalk for bikes, scooters, and pedestrians who may be approaching the intersection where you plan to turn. When there is a center median, it might seem counter intuitive to check over your shoulder, but the reality is you never know what might be in your blind spot... a motorcycle or cyclist could sneak between you and the median, or even a pedestrian might be on the actual median itself that you need to be aware of.
It might seem like overkill to always check over your shoulder before left turns, but I guarantee you that one day it will pay off when you find something hiding out in your blind spot. Hope that helps!
@@DriversEdDirect much appreciated for your answer . Thank you for taking the time out to do that and help everyone become a safer defensive driver . Keep up the great work
