Just came across your channel. Looks like and Onan DJE air cooled diesel generator. I have had one that I picked up for a song over 15 years ago. Had to replace the board, rotor, and stator. They are great little sets. Used mine through Irma, Ian, and several tropical storms. Only use about half a gallon and hour at 4-5 Kw draw. It beats and big box generator. 4 pole genhead, 1800 rpm slow turn. Your missing a cover that goes above the injectors. Also not sure about the extended shift. Mine and others I've seen have a fan inside and a guard that mounts on the three bolts on the end of enclosure where shaft extension comes out. Also if you have or can fab the top piece (onan P2393 stamped on mine) for your air intake, fernco fittings work great to plumb to a filter enclosure. The service manual is 967-0751, glow plugs ch41 (good luck finding), oil filter wix 51515, fuel filters wix 33365, and 33366. Great video.

I think Mr. Mouse had a screwdriver and backed out that 6-32 to be troublesome.
Did you hold the other switch on the right side down for a min before trying to crank at the same time?
