Thanks rm. Yes , I'll craft a thimble, I think wood combusts around 500 degrees or so, I bet that muffler is no more than 250-300but better safe than sorry. I have an 8 gauge soow, 100 ft spool I will use. I agree it could be better silenced, but at 100 ft, I can barely here it.
Hey man how the panel was wired from 240 to 120 at the same time , i have the same generator but doesn’t have the electrical box or diagram , only wires hanging
Are the wires numbered? If so, 1 and 4 should be the hots, and 2&3 form the neutral, as they are also usually tied to ground. so you should get 240v across 1&4, and 1 to 2&3 will get you 120, and 4 to 2&3 will get you 120, thats if you have labels on your wires, and no one monkeyed with it
