I like these deceptively simple puzzles, but that's not what I want to leave a comment about.
I've watched a bunch of your puzzle videos and love them all, but I didn't even realize how they've helped me out and expanded my problem solving skills until recently at my fast food job.
A while ago I was cleaning the soda machine in the lobby, and part of that had me partially disassemble the ice dispenser chute to get some mold from between two plastic pieces, but what I didn't realize was by doing so I accidentally "broke" it so that the ice no longer dispensed.
Long story short, using the critical thinking and mechanical analysis techniques I've learned from watching you solve puzzles, I was able to fix the machine without needing to call out a repair technician. Keep in mind that prior to that, I had zero clue how the machine worked nor do I have any sort of specialized technical training, I just managed to figure my way through the process using puzzle solving techniques I've picked up from this channel and other similar channels (but mostly this one because I love your voice) so thank you for making me smarter.
Interest and curiosity are key to understand an learn! Congratulations you applied it. Keep this mindset when facing further issues in the future. Great comment!
Thank you for making these elaborate puzzle videos! I really do enjoy watching you solve these! immensely amusing!
Welcome, enjoy!
Why dont you show a video of you actually trying to solve them instead of the answers would be a lot more entertaining
You should start doing live streams of you trying to open a new puzzle for the first time. That would be real interesting to see
I see this request from time to time. I think I really need to work something out!
Mr.Puzzle yes that would be awesome!
Bruv, there's a spider on your puzzle, if there's ever a time for the hammer its now!
Hammer!
whack!
The puzzle is mostly wood...
Kill it with fire!
ROFL
Mr.Puzzle 1q11
It looks perfect for storing my bottle of nitroglycerine.
Don't drop it!
An important point here, don't store anything fragile in this box.
Aw darn, and I was going to put my heart in it...
ahh.. that´s sweet
Great box! For added fun i'd put a realistic model spider inside it!
YVONNE WILSON yeah
Oh yes, I will try it next time I give it to someone.
I would put a real spider inside it
Varhaisperuna yeh
This is one of several puzzles you've shown on your channel that was made in Germany, but is sold by Puzzlemaster in Canada. So now the question is... Can it be bought directly from Germany instead somehow for those of us who live in Europe? Seems like such a pointless thing to have products travel back and forth between continents.
You can buy puzzles from Constantin also directly from the manufacturer. But they do not have a web shop. They only sell their products on fairs an Christmas markets.
Damn... Well, that's not helping then. But thanks for the response!
One day I really hope to see something rated 5/5. Or to see more 4/5 ones. Sometimes I think that to every puzzle that you show you give 3/5 rating which is a bit unfair, where were much more creative and diccicult ones. 1 smack puzzles are worth 1/5 I think. Just a thought :) Keep up the interesting work!
Just check the 4/5 or 5/5 Playlist 😁
Mr puzzle has experience with puzzles. He has mentioned that some puzzles follow the same pattern for the solution. I think he has learned how to distinguish said patterns
Sverr you're worth 1/5... just a thought. :)
Sverr check out the revomaze puzzle,I think he says 4/5 or 5/5 it looks impossible but he gets it!great vid
Sverr i hear a lot of 3/5s as well
i expected it to be more complicated
1 move way to simple. nice looking though
honestly, these are my favorite puzzles. just hit, twist, jerk, shake, etc. simple yet hard if you aren't used to puzzles
For some reason I also like trick boxes very much. Can't tell you why but they are just cool.
They're deceptively simple, and I love that kind of thing. People think it's some super complicated thing and will pull their hair out trying to figure it out, only for some jerk to thump in on the side and open it right up.
That's why I think of them as "a**hole puzzles", because it takes a special kind of a**hole to think up something so deviously simple but make it appear so complicated.
My aunt had one those common Japanese style sliding panel boxes. She handed it to me one day thinking id not know how to open it up, and i had honestly never seen one before either. But i took it and opened it perfectly as if i had done it 100x before.
A box? Smack it!!! Shake it!! Spin it!!!Open it!!!
i like box puzzles so much! amazing video
Thanks!
I stumbled onto your page and I enjoy it so much. Watching you figure them out and your commentary is extremely entertaining. I have subscribed and probably will end up purchasing a box just not sure which one. Keep doing this please.
David Imhoff likewise
Thats a nice weed box
Does not stop a hammer
Shut up loser
Can you tell me what puzzle you found the hardest you have done and tell me link I want to watch that one, Thanks!
Disappointing that you don't have to hit the spider itself, I dislike these puzzles where the solution isn't derived from information given by the box...
That would be cool! 😁
If it's any consolation, I immediately figured out that you'd have to impart energy to the box in order to solve it because of the Einstein.
Matty, the best puzzles - like some people on this Earth- won't talk you about themselves because they are quite simple (assuming it is a desireable quality). The ones that talk much, either lie or try to seem interesting through an "apparent" complexity. xD
Maybe that would be too obvious
I usually don't like simple puzzles but this one, i love it.
:D
Thanks for another great video
Welcome!
Mr.Puzzle good morning
It may be better to move some more stuff before the spoiler break, to introduce the puzzle a bit better. In this case, everything up to say 2:30 is pretty safe.
That caliper is some of the best money you’ve ever spent. You get mad use out of it, lol. It makes me want one.
Thank You for doing the dimensions of the box that was cool.
Gutes Video, wie immer!
This would be neat for Halloween
Sorry I can’t find this box in your amazon shop. Can you add the full adress? Or describe how I can find it?
Very good demo 👌 thank you
What's the point of the metal stud passing through the front of the box? You mention it when describing the appearance of the box, but it doesn't appear to come into play. Just a distraction?
It's only used to fix the mechanism.
Really good puzzle! Good video!!
A puzzle... smash it and it opens?? Even my 2y old frozen puzzels are harder xD this is just a box
1 or 2 maybe
Looks like a very cool gift box!! }:D Really Enjoy watching you solve these!!!
With a name like spider box, I wouldn't open that in a million years
Harder puzzles please, 5/5,
Just want to say I been watching for a while and enjoy what u do
Love the box. Not that crazy about gimmicky solutions. Still an enjoyable video, thanks for posting.
Love the videos you make about puzzles.... but then I'll always know how to solve them. A win lose lol keep the puzzles coming
Um, I don't Einstein was into spiders. Maybe they should rename it the spider box puzzle.
LOVE YER VIDS MAN!!
Where do I buy one
I imagine someone buying this puzzle, accidentally dropping it, and solving it accidentally, and thinking they somehow spoiled it
solution *pulls out a sledge hammer*
Your voice comforts your channel and your puzzels
Reply if you see this
I love your videos!
The "Einstein" must be meant facetiously, as in "That guy is a real Einstein."
This is amazing :)
That's where Einstein kept his stash
1:48 love your native tongue, keep up the work and make us proud :D
Thank you for this! I need to get this, my friends will not even think of doing that to open the Einstein Box.
I need to store like a Diamond in it, nobody will get it open. xD
Carsalesmen: slaps roof of car*
Thats how you open this thing
Amazing you are :) thanks for share
Glad to hear you like it! 😊
*"Keep in mind that knowing the solution cannot be reversed!"*
Sure it can. I'll take a nap soon, and when I wake up it'll be gone.
I wouldnt even consider these puzzles if all it takes is a smack for a magnet
on the off chance, I found your site, awesome way to do things without electronics. I used to sell some of these old school. And damned if I didn't do all of them before selling them.
Did you sell them online?
Couldn't, privacy agreement. I nailed all the puzzles but could not sell because of company policy.
Cool puzzle :)
A one move solution that rates a 3 out of 5? Even Chris Ramsay would only give it a 2!
Mr.Puzzle , 0:50 I'll get the axe. L😆L!!
The greatest design I've ever seen, and here is my thoughts:
Few centuries back; mostly all people would just solve it in seconds
And in Present Day; Mostly people would take hours while a few would take in seconds.
Where is mrs puzzle
this is good stuff
I was really hoping this will not be a little more complicated to open 😔
Oh, so that is why it opened when I threw it against the wall ...
Claude Faustus would be honored.
The floor solved this puzzle for me when i dropped it..
Is that anyway a puzzle???
You don't really want to put anything fragile in there.
Haha, did not consider that! :)
Oh, so you could still use it for storage!
It would be so awesome if you could finish your videos with 'I'll be back'
You have the right accent!
good thief proof storage , unless you're dealing with 1 years old that like to throw stuff
i want to see mr puzzle and chris ramsay doing a puzzle off with something neither of them has solved and no conferring.
nice video mr Puzzle
Thanks!
General Guy good morning broo
this is a 2/5 puzzle.
1/5 rather
How about 0/5?
how about -1/5
It's not a puzzle its just a Trickbox.
1/5 For sure.
What puzzle does mr.puzzle have to solve to get into his own house?
Cool
To fix it, you just need to smack it, like most stuff. :D
I’ll put my money there,my wife will open it in 6-8 seconds
4 of 5
cool
Looks way too much like the Hellraiser box!
I never understood how to use that vernier calliper in school
"Hello and welcome to the slingshot channel"
daawwww :) I love spiders. WI have to find one of these for myself!
Check out the link in the video description.
yay!!! Smackbox XD
I want a puzzle box..
Can u hide stuff in a box like this from the cops or would they make u open it
I solved it! Its so easy! The secret is to use a saw!
Can't buy it in India.

Frank Basile 1969 J3000 4x4 With The “Gladiator” 350Buick V8 😎🇺🇸
Hey Chris, I had a '71 Jeep Honcho J 8000 with a 360 engine and a Buick tranny in 1985. I've probably owned 30 four wheel drives over the years and man I couldn't get that thing stuck! The baddest 4WD I've ever had. The second baddest is a Power Wagon.
nice
I wud buy this for a safe if it was more durable
Hmm maybe I can buy this to store Switch game cartridges or SD cards.
I don't like these types of puzzles, because they aren't puzzles. there's no problem solving involved, it's entirely predicated on knowing about magnet tricks like that. a good puzzle is one that hides the solution in plain sight and requires problem solving.
I could just step on it. Easy
How is this a puzzle?
you have cool puzzles, but honestly anybody can do this in their basement. the cheapest wood, the easiest way to produce.
Funny , you can solve little toys but can't solve the Kennedy Os/Oz enigma._.
Can be used to store a small CPU
There are so many more interesting box mechanisms out there. Why keep showing the same type?
Hello Mr. Passl
Hate to be that guy, but you say:
"How it looks"
or
"What it looks like"
but never
"How it looks like"
"How it looks" refers to an overall abstract appearance, and "what it looks like" refers to specific comparisons like it. Hope that helps. You wouldn't say 'it looks _like_ good', so you wouldn't say 'how it looks like'. You would say "It looks like a box spiderman owned", so you would say "What it looks like".
