    I like these deceptively simple puzzles, but that's not what I want to leave a comment about.
    I've watched a bunch of your puzzle videos and love them all, but I didn't even realize how they've helped me out and expanded my problem solving skills until recently at my fast food job.
    A while ago I was cleaning the soda machine in the lobby, and part of that had me partially disassemble the ice dispenser chute to get some mold from between two plastic pieces, but what I didn't realize was by doing so I accidentally "broke" it so that the ice no longer dispensed.
    Long story short, using the critical thinking and mechanical analysis techniques I've learned from watching you solve puzzles, I was able to fix the machine without needing to call out a repair technician. Keep in mind that prior to that, I had zero clue how the machine worked nor do I have any sort of specialized technical training, I just managed to figure my way through the process using puzzle solving techniques I've picked up from this channel and other similar channels (but mostly this one because I love your voice) so thank you for making me smarter.

    This is one of several puzzles you've shown on your channel that was made in Germany, but is sold by Puzzlemaster in Canada. So now the question is... Can it be bought directly from Germany instead somehow for those of us who live in Europe? Seems like such a pointless thing to have products travel back and forth between continents.

    • @Mr.Puzzle
      @Mr.Puzzle  6 років тому +5

      You can buy puzzles from Constantin also directly from the manufacturer. But they do not have a web shop. They only sell their products on fairs an Christmas markets.

    One day I really hope to see something rated 5/5. Or to see more 4/5 ones. Sometimes I think that to every puzzle that you show you give 3/5 rating which is a bit unfair, where were much more creative and diccicult ones. 1 smack puzzles are worth 1/5 I think. Just a thought :) Keep up the interesting work!

      For some reason I also like trick boxes very much. Can't tell you why but they are just cool.

    • @Dargonhuman
      @Dargonhuman 6 років тому

      They're deceptively simple, and I love that kind of thing. People think it's some super complicated thing and will pull their hair out trying to figure it out, only for some jerk to thump in on the side and open it right up.
      That's why I think of them as "a**hole puzzles", because it takes a special kind of a**hole to think up something so deviously simple but make it appear so complicated.

    My aunt had one those common Japanese style sliding panel boxes. She handed it to me one day thinking id not know how to open it up, and i had honestly never seen one before either. But i took it and opened it perfectly as if i had done it 100x before.

      Matty, the best puzzles - like some people on this Earth- won't talk you about themselves because they are quite simple (assuming it is a desireable quality). The ones that talk much, either lie or try to seem interesting through an "apparent" complexity. xD

    Hate to be that guy, but you say:
    "How it looks"
    or
    "What it looks like"
    but never
    "How it looks like"
    "How it looks" refers to an overall abstract appearance, and "what it looks like" refers to specific comparisons like it. Hope that helps. You wouldn't say 'it looks _like_ good', so you wouldn't say 'how it looks like'. You would say "It looks like a box spiderman owned", so you would say "What it looks like".
