    I think it would be fun if you invited someone on your channel to try and solve these puzzles before you do. That would give us an accurate idea of how difficult the puzzles are. Because people who are not familiar with the rating don't really know how difficult a puzzle is when they see it. So watching someone trying to solve a puzzle would be fun

  • @paulobouhid6648
    @paulobouhid6648 7 років тому +6

    A classic geometry fact: the unique way to obtain a *square* sectioning a tetrahedron is to pass the plane-cut right through the middle of four edges. Doing this, one obtain *two* exactly equal pieces!! In fact, one kind of puzzle is to assemble a tetrahedron with these two equal pieces... not too easy. Knowing this the solution to the puzzle of the video is easy...

    • @suit1337
      @suit1337 7 років тому

      Paulo Bouhid well, the tetrahedron has 1/3 of the volume of the cube, so you get 4 pieces of equal volume (which can be combined to form 2 additional tetrahedrons of equal volume)

    • @paulobouhid6648
      @paulobouhid6648 7 років тому

      If you cut the tetrahedron like I said (a plane passing trhough the middle of four edges), you´ll get only *TWO* equal pieces (and the section is a square).

    • @suit1337
      @suit1337 7 років тому +2

    Another great video :)
    Keep on !
    Haben Sie eigentlich einen festen Zeitplan wann Sie Videos veröffentlichen oder einfach nur dann wenn eins fertig wird?
    Zudem habe ich Sie ja schonmal zu den Revomaze Rätsel angesprochen. Ich habe mir das Aqua (beginner 30/100) gekauft und war damit 5 Stunden beschäftigt (habe mich aber auch einwenig dumm angestellt, habe dafür aber mehr Spaß für mein Geld bekommen)! Ein sehr hochwertiges Rätsel.
    Ich möchte Sie jetzt nicht dazu zwingen oder überzumotivieren sich selbst eines der Rätsel zu kaufen, denn lt. dem Erfinder sollten keine Lösungen im Internet verbrietet werden (damit jeder den selben spaß damit hat), aber dafür haben Sie ja den Spoiler break. Aber diese Rätsel sind sehr hochwertig und die Öffnungszeit kann man wohl schon als richtig angegeben betrachten. Ich habe mir ein Silver (Schwiergkeit 90/100) Revomaze aus den USA zukommen lassen und muss sagen, das ist schon ein Brain Fu*k.
    Ich wünsche Ihnen noch ein schönen Tag
    Freundliche Grüße
    Marvin

      Hallo Marvin,
      ein Video wird immer am Wochenende veröffentlicht (Sa oder So). Wenn ich dazu komme, dann auch noch ein zusätzliches unter der Woche.
      Das Revomaze wird auf diesem Channel sicher auch noch kommen. Ich bin aktuell in Kontakt mit dem Hersteller um ein Muster zu ergattern. Mal sehen ob es klappt wenn die nächste Charge fertig ist.
      Gruß

      translation:
      Do you actually have a fixed schedule when you publish videos or just when one gets done?
      In addition, I have ever addressed you to the Revomaze puzzle. I bought the Aqua (beginner 30/100) and was busy for 5 hours (but I also did a little stupid, but I got more fun for my money)! A very high quality puzzle.
      I do not want to force you or over-motivate you to buy yourself one of the puzzles, because according to the inventor no solutions should be spared on the internet (so everyone has the same fun with it), but you have the spoiler break. But these puzzles are very high quality and the opening time can probably be regarded as correct. I've got a Silver (Schwierigkeit 90/100) Revomaze from the US and I have to say, that's already a Brain Fu * k.
      I wish you a nice day

      By definition a puzzle is a test of ones ingenuity or knowledge, is putting a key in a key whole the right orientation a puzzle? if it is i find your definition of a puzzle a little loose. I'll add that maybe that would be a puzzle to a baby. (as i alluded to in my comment) but then again everything is a puzzle to baby.

    That was pretty easy. I just got the solution of it when first saw that triangular shape, but still loved it.

    Tetrahedron can make shadow of square and triangle,
    Cube can make a square and hexagon shadow- and so the octahedron , other two are more complicated

    I figured it out but not by thinking the way you did. I thought of it by comparing the smallest profile on the tetrahedron to the longest length on the opening. The "diagonal" (when referencing the "square" you used) edge fits through the diagonal of the opening.
