Lmao, I’m a huge Pallbearer fan but have trouble recognizing the bass lines he’s playing because of how low the guitar tubings are.
The distortion makes it sound like mud too. Hard to tell what he's playing here because all clarity is sucked away.
Yea I imagine live it's better but here everything is kind of slopped in the distortion and low end.
jakeybball I don’t think it’s the tuning, but the distortion. Electric Wizard tune down as low, but you can hear the bass fine, because the tone isn’t as extreme.
Alone distorted bass doesnt sound…..that good, but with the whole band its fucking amazing! Pallbearer is awesome!

well, he couldn’t use his own bass or amp, both were just supplied for the video. This bass sounds fairly close to his actual one.
