Never heard of Glass Beams before, but i've played this live performance 8 full times in the past 2 days, and I`m planning on seeing em live in Berliin soon.
I wish somebody would love me like the drummer loves wind chimes. What a band Glass Beams is, they truly teleport you to a distant time with their music, I feel like I am in a desert but in a cyberpunk dystopia, doing illegal car races in the desert with Glass Beams bursting out loud in the speakers.
I just feel like I'm doing a lot of acid while sucking on an elephant's teet. Maybe I haven't made it to the track you are at yet. Damn good band mate! First time I've heard them and love KEXP (again) for introducing me to another great artist. Going back to holding onto the elephant.
I'm pretty sure there is a common structure. Maybe phrygian mode, or minor harmonic. Definitely something dark and mysterious in Glass Beams. I love it.

Saw them live in Chicago. Ah-Mazing! You think it sounds good here, seeing and hearing it live and being fully immersed in the music was transformative. A rarity to be able to be enveloped musically like that. Won't forget it.
