This is THEE video I've been looking for....the use of a C to HDMI converter for the back screen. You've earned a new subscriber! My Legends arrives in a few days. Can't wait! Thank you!
Hi, everyone on line is saying that we need to run a pc with 3 dedicated hdmi outputs. I have an older laptop only with one hdmi output. This must be the way to make this work?
@@gagcar do you have usb outputs too? My new computer doesn’t have any hdmi output. So I used my usb c ports with hdmi converters and for the normal usb . Everything worked fine for me after that
@@gagcar I used the hyperdrive usb c hub. Then I also used another cable called usb c to hdmi converter( the hyperdrive only has one hdmi port) but if you don’t have another usb c port use one of the usb ports from the hyperdrive for your 2nd hdmi outputs . You only need two hdmi outputs for it work
Do you drag and drop each INDIVIDUAL backglass image to each individual table in the folder or do you right click and copy all the backglass image and paste them into the file ?
Thank you , Makes sense … Question: Ok, so I need a pc with 3 hdmi outputs: One to dmd One to vibs card One to top left front of playfield? But… How does this work for all the laptops out there that I know only have one hdmi output and have this running ? I see videos all over UA-cam with people running older basic laptops that I’m sure only have one ? Thank you again.
So I found one site that had a lot of the backglass images but a couple of them didn't work does anyone have any suggestions for other websites for me to download the backglass images for the FX tables thank you
My backglass stopped displaying. Sound is fine, playfield is fine, marquee is fine. I reseated all connections on main board and video switch board. Any idea how to tell if I have a screen burnout or main board burnout or backglass switch burnout or cable burnout??
I’m playing fx3 using my laptop on my Atgames pinball. Got the back glass working thru vibs , but I have no sound on anything now. Any ideas ? All connections look good. Could it be a setting somewhere ? Thanks
I am so confused, I followed both your videos in regards to getting fx3 on the unit, which worked. getting the back glass to work is a different story. I can't get steam onto any other screen but the main playfield. Why?
Have you contacted steam to ask for your cabinet code? Fx2 or fx3 will not allow you to play the game in cabinet mode until you do. You just tell them what your gonna use it for, they basically just want to make sure your not setting up a table to make money in a bar or something. Once they see it’s for private use they will give you your code. Enter and bam, it will unlock your fx3 allowing you to make all the adjustments needed and screens you want to use
Hey local brother - I’ve got the new generation Pinball, it has the HDMI board already on it. Still, I went and bought everything Doug said, but I still can’t get the back glass working. Any chance we could get an amended video or instructions for this newer revision ? Plugged in 2 hdmi, 1 is dp to hdmi which is going into his edp board. My ribbon cable goes into this edp board. Where is the on board hdmi going ? Little confused
This Switch Board is really awesome 😄, easy way to swap between atgames and external software.
Thanks for showing how to setup Pinball FX 😄
thanks, fx3 is awesome because it has classic Williams tables but vpx has more tables. I can connect you to atgames.

You should install that button closer to the power button at bottom. Now you have to walk all the way back just to switch it..lol.
“Take this one and slide this in…” …where is the second ribbon coming from? The bottom cab???

Request looking for s samsung battery compartment door it slides down the back of the Samsung remote I have the remote with 2 red buttons
2 questions, what kind of pc do I need to run these tables performance wise and does the plunger work if you want to launch the ball?

Hopefully atgames will make these boards available again soon. Missed the microsecond window it was available
Do you have any slight lag from flipper button press to what the screen is doing?

I'm having the same issue. How did you get yours working?
Pinball yea I like it 👌
You may want to remove you cabinet code.
its one time use only
Damn,,, really? All of that just to play pinball? There has got to be an easier way.
if you don't have a Type C connection on your laptop the Type C adapter may not work🤣
Too much work.
