Hi, great tutorial, I'm just starting out, have about 10 tables that I can now tweak a little better with your tutorial. Going to change my joytokey setting to match yours too, i was hoping someone already went through that so I didn't have to. big thumbs up!!
I’m struggling with some of the pup packs. It works perfect on some tables. Currently having an issue on Iron Maiden where it loads up but crashes as soon as I hit start to begin a game.
What guide did you use to map the keys for the alp to vpx? I'm using the LegendsPB-WTT joy2key profile and I am trying to map them in the vpx preferences menu. It doesn't seem to register my changes.
I’ve seen a few files tossed around but they still need tweaking as it primarily based around user preferences and table graphics limitations. Too many variables. Learn to adjust them yourself, tweak to your preferences.
@@JohnPauls Thanks for the helpful video. I do love tinkering (perhaps more than playing) but VPX has been a huge time sink! Finally got the menu media setup only to find there's yet another layer to tweak. One day . . .
I’ve thought of switching however, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Experiencing bare minimum lag with no issues, leaving it as-is. Glad to know popper and vpx are working for you. Thanks
@@JohnPauls i used to when i had my first ALP but i sold it ..and got a new ALP i haven't got a new ALP control penal yet for my 2nd ALP . yeah atgames firmware updates really messed up my first ALP that why i have to buy a 2nd ALP never do a firmware update again .
@@JohnPauls yeah i was using joytokey for pinup popper and vpx i thought i was getting little lag but someone on Facebook told me to use pinup popper and vpx controls setting seem like it little better .i want to use FX3 controls but i been having problems on steam setting up my ALP controls ..after i do all the buttons setup on steam i don't get a save button and i don't know why it doing it either to me seem like it a glitch or something

@@JohnPauls I have a table i downloaded and it had backglass and table ..and thn a media folder 📂 ..where does the media folder go ??
Media folder is usually used for customizing PinUp Popper
I.e. Wheel Icon, Backglass Image, Logos, Side Skirts, etc.

A lot of trial and error, couldn’t find a decent guide.
@@JohnPauls I think I have everything but the plunger working now.... I just dont see how they are porting it over in joy2key.
Plunger comes up as Z axis in Windows.

Were you able to get the ALP joystick working in Pinup Popper? Only thing I couldn’t get to function.
