If RGT says it’s “easy to assemble” then we know it MUST BE!! Lmao. Edit: Btw way dude, you’re slowly going from Mexican with that stash to Amish with that beard as it gets longer and longer!! Talk about identity crisis. ;)
I own one and I enjoy playing it. For those that like to tinker… there are many settings you can adjust to personalize your experience. Most importantly, there is the ability to play pinball tables from your PC if you have the right hardware. I have not done that myself but maybe in the future.
This definitely looks like something I want. In my youth in the eighties and nineties, pinball was the main thing I played in arcades. My whole family loved pinball. When I was 12, my mom took me on a week long vacation to California, and wound up spending most of our day at Knott's Berry Farm in their pinball arcades, which were AMAZING.
whoa almost the same thing happened but we never made it to knotsbury farm since we were in the arcade at the hotel the whole time besides disney land haha
Dont get me wrong, I'd love to have a dedicated arcade filled up with stuff. And 1ups fill space well and art is fantastic. But the size, price, amount of games per system, lack of easy modding, etc just makes it a big yikes.
They’ve been doing some great things since 2019 with their Legends Ultimate arcade cabinet. Even their Atari plug in plays got significantly better. I went from a curious customer to a fan.
Legends Ultimate needs a redesign, I was hoping we would see one by now, hopefully soon. The shape is hideous, it was even worse when I first saw one in person. You are correct though, very versatile multi-cad.
I ownthis machine and I love it. The annoying rumbling/rattling of the plastic top of the control panel is actually a construction error of the machine. But there is an easy fix by using some double sided tape and hot glue to fix the plastic to the wood. And you can also adjust the sound settings. But beside this, I think in this price range this is by far the best virtual pinball table you can buy.
Cut out some styrofoam or use packing peanuts and fit them tight around the exciters. That with gluing down the loose plastic around the control panel works great. I had the same problem. I finally just did an easy Dayton exciters mod.
After modding a 1UP with a raspberry pi I decided to build my own virtual pinball from scratch. I’m running an old Optiplex with a RX 580. I have an old Sony 40” as the main play field. I just added a bass shaker and flipper solenoids. Lots of fun!
what most people do about them front exciters nose problem is replacing them with better exciters . probably like $30 fix . or you can try fix it with hot glue . and i seen people mod them ALP and spending $3000 to $4000 on modding . like adding 4 exciters and 6 to 10 solenoids, shaker, bass speaker, building or buying a gaming pc so it can play FX3 and VPXand future pinball and virtual pinball games and buying or building a bigger backglass box with a 24" to 27" back screen i even seen them with 4K main screen . . a hubby for virtual pinball isn't cheap but it can be fun if you have the money for it .. i have a atgames pinball machine i paid $700 plus tax from sam club i probably have like $600-$700 in to it with modding . as right now i have over $1400 into it
Despite the negative reviews from their firmware being crappy previously, mine is awesome. Runs great, looks great, Zaccaria and Taito tables have nice details, shadows look good, lights look good and reflect off of the ball. Impressive considering there is no PC under the hood here, it's basically a mobile device putting in some serious work! The overall build quality is SOLID, it has to be for the nudge feature, plunger is great, buttons feel good, the siderails and lockbar are top notch, legs are top notch just wish they were black like the rails, everything under the hood is wired tight, secured, monitors look good, sound is rich and deep despite no sub... honestly blown away so far and so is the wife. She's in the game room more than ever now. Win/win.
Not sure if any other owners out there just turn off their solenoids or haptics like I have...the sounds are just so bad stock and there are some fixes. I enjoy having the music turned on louder and hear the callouts rather than feeling the "lifelike" feelings of pinball witch are not there out of the box...imo...I have a blast with all the games retro to moden tables...the Taito tables are a blast too...the deluxe tables are insane too lol so much fun for the money.
Yes it is - you have to tape it down or hot glue it. I also attached bolts to the bottom of the exciters which lowers the frequency and dampens them. After these changes and a sound adjustment, I no longer have any annoying vibration and noise.
I got mine this past year, and I love it. At first I wanted an A1Up Marvel, but the more I read about it the more doubts I had -- and the reverse was true with the AtGames set-up. Didn't think I could ever be talked into buying a Legends Ultimate, but I like the pinball so much that I went for it this past weekend after discovering an easy way to get a CoinOpsX set up on it. Fingers crossed -- if I like it as much as the pinball I'll be a very happy camper.
I have the legends arcade cabinet, and it's one of my favorite videogame related purchases ever. It comes with 300 games, added cloud arcade/ pinball games if you have the online service, and i have 1000+ classic arcade games that i put into it (including some Nintendo classics!). And it comes with different control options like 2 pairs of joysticks with 6 buttons, 2 knobs for games like pong or arkanoid, and a track ball! I can actually play Sega Sonic Arcade with it! I can't say enough to praise this.
I'm a connoisseur. I have exactly three. How you knew, I don't know. Good review. I ordered this last week from Sam's Club. It's on sale for under $400 and out for delivery today.
I love my legends table - Hook it up to a PC and it unlocks hundreds of tables that crush the stock tables it comes with. Do a few mods and the thing really is amazing.
How hard is it to mod it to work with Pinball FX 1-3? Does it recognize the backglass and display the score and all that jazz without having knowing much about programming things?
I see an HDMI port near the USB, does this mean you can plug in the mini systems like the Mini NES, SNES, Playstation, or Genesis and use the screen and gaming board?
I own one and I FREAKIN' LOOOOOOOVE IT!!! I modded it and I hooked my computer to it. I find this machine to be a great entry in the world of virtual pinball. I strongly recommend it to whoever wants to try virtual pinball out.
can I ask, why did you hook your computer up to it, and what mods have you done? also, as an owner, can you tell me if it's all classic pinball games, or are there more recent ones too?
Great review! Would love to have one of these bad boys! @AtGames get Costco, Walmart, or GameStop to carry these. Over a $1000 for shipping to Alaska is criminal!
I have this pinball machine lad. Enjoy it very much. Also my volume is set just two notches from full blast all the time and I don't have any rattling . I did notice in your video you don't have screws on that front panel. My version have screws on that panel. Maybe that's something the blokes at atgames changed on the latest version. I have the wave one version. Any way very interesting to hear that some heavy hitters are coming aboard like the sound of that mate. Always enjoy your content hope you enjoy the AGLP even more as time goes by. I certainly do I'm happy to say.
I just sold a couple of my arcade1ups to downsize a bit and I have the legends ultimate coming, I keep hearing great things - plus I ordered a pre installed thumb drive with 7500 games - so now I should be all set with that and my couple arcade 1ups and not be tempted to buy more - but now I am tempted to grab this to, just not sure I have the room because of my pool table and the pinball sticks out a lot .
I bought an Intellivision Flashback and loved it. Then I was interested in seeing what else they made and looked at the reviews for them and was shocked that everything else they had made before was a hate crime. I guess I got lucky. Glad they're making better stuff again.
I actually really dig this! Thanks for the review. Would have never even looked at this. Ever. Appreciate you trying it out first. I might pick this up. Also thanks for talking about updates and downloads on it
I'm not a huge pinball guy, so I would probably never buy the ALP, but I have the pinball flippers on my ALU, and I love playing pinball on there. It really feels like pinball, and looks beautiful.
you lucky your ALU has pinball flippers, mine didn't because it was original ALU before they added flippers, but I ended up getting Legends Pinball machine so I could at least play pinball.
On camera, at long angles, the screen looks mad 2dish but I suppose that can't be helped until they come out with a holographic pinball table. I'll bet when standing above it in person it looks fantastic though.
I literally just got out my Tomy astro shooter pinball machine from the loft and was wondering if there was anything new on the market, coincidence or what ♥️
RGT, great video! Glad to see your getting a great mini arcade down in the basement. Yes, you definitely the virtual pinball and I agree with you that the AT games currently is part of the best one. Glad you're enjoying it. Great job in the video and congratulations 500,000 subs is not far away
Oh wow man, it comes with Zaccaria tables (pronounced Zack-are-ee-ah). Italian company. You don't see a lot of those in the US. I was lucky enough to play Farfalla at a pinball convention a few years back (the not so naughty backglass art version. OG table is a bit more racy). Beautiful table. I'd get this for the Zaccaria tables alone. I have the PC version of the Zaccaria tables but that's nowhere near as nice as having a full size pin.
Yes and no. Atgames offers pinball packs from zaccaria and has some original Taito game inspired tables. You can buy them and download them to usb. You can however load arcade games via USB. If you want more pinball tables like all the Williams and bally and licensed tables and stuff, a pc with a middling gpu can be set up for virtual pinball software. Out of the box it will use the bottom screen. To use the back screen theres an additional board that you install to use a 2nd hdmi cable to basically set up 2 screens so you can have the backslash look right.
Affordability with clunky menus is where At Games thrives with their position in the market. Oh, and before I go, those "crappy consoles" weren't anywhere near as bad as some people painstakingly went out of their way to make out.
I’m old school but to me an arcade isn’t complete without a pinball table. This looks like a really good choice if you have limited space and/or budget. I’m just curious about the licensing of it, like do they have Bally but not Williams, etc.
It looks like they’re relying on Farsight’s stuff (Pinball Arcade) so no. The rights to Bally/Williams tables went to Zen Studios (Pinball FX) a few years ago.
ATGames Legends Pinball is pretty great! I’ve had mine since last summer and really like it. In comparison, I had a Arcade1Up Attack from Mars table and was very disappointed in it. I ended up giving (yes giving, not selling) it to a buddy for he and his kids to play.
I’m a sucker for pinball, quarter hungry sobs. Lol it’ll be nice to have one without having to spend my money. I could’ve bought like 3 of those by all the quarters I spent at the Pizza Hut pinball.
Great video Shawn! One thing I need to know is does it have rumble for when you hit the flippers or the ball bounces between the bumpers? if it doesn't have some kind of force feedback, that's a no buy for me.
You think that now, but you won't be thinking that when you've been at it all night. The exciters are the size of a U.S. quarter and total trash. If you have to have the haptics, the Dayton Audio DAEX25Q-4 are a cheap and easy install, about $30 per pair.
Well said. I enjoy the tables that came with it, and the expansion packs are pretty awesome as well. Some UA-camrs have complained about the tables that came with it, but I don't see a whole lot of issues with any of them. I also mainly use this for the CoinOpsX function and the Arcade Control Panel. That's really what sold me on it originally.
Respectfully disagree with the bumping sensors build into the sides and front. I enjoy real pinball but for my basement arcade, this is a pretty immersive experience.
Have you seen the bump feature? Also this is a cheap unit, you can buy expensive ones with better everything, bump included. These tables are no joke... you need to look deeper. Check out Pinball Kings 43 inch 4k table... it blew my mind.
@@EQOAnostalgia no thanks. Until a screen projects a real 3d image, there is no way to get around depth perception. And the Xbox camera fix is garbage. It’s like a real woman vs online visual stimulation. What u would choose?
I'm interested in those virtual pinball but I can't really get myself to buy one because the boards still feels too "video game". When virtual pinball will become indistinguishable from a real pinball Ill consider it. Pretty sure with unreal 5 they can achieve that. I mean most of those virtual pinball feels too flat. Some even have the screen completely flat which doesn't make sense. When I won't be able to see difference, i'll buy one
the screen looks amazing, even through watching it on here. can you get pinballs like some of the stuff we found in arcades frowing up like the T-2 and stuff?
If one can get the android version of Zen Pinball working on it, then they could probably get those Marvel and Srar Wars tables working on it, not to mention, Fox, Bethesda table packs as well.
"SPACE INVADERS" should have been the BALLY version,..
If RGT says it’s “easy to assemble” then we know it MUST BE!! Lmao. Edit: Btw way dude, you’re slowly going from Mexican with that stash to Amish with that beard as it gets longer and longer!! Talk about identity crisis. ;)

Sam's Club is selling these for 399.99 right now, thanks to this video I will be buying one.
You’re darn right it’s good. Well worth the money.
I used to love throwing in quarters in those pinball machines. Triple ball makes me just go nuts.

Dont get me wrong, I'd love to have a dedicated arcade filled up with stuff. And 1ups fill space well and art is fantastic. But the size, price, amount of games per system, lack of easy modding, etc just makes it a big yikes.

Can u implement other pinball games with a USB like how u can on the legends arcade cabinet?
Yes and no. Atgames offers pinball packs from zaccaria and has some original Taito game inspired tables. You can buy them and download them to usb.

Yes it does. That rumbling sound he was taking about is actually from the exciters. They are not great but they are there.

@@jtrevrb1 Try out VR maybe, as for me, i'm enjoying mine. Don't knock it til you try it.
I might be a little late to the video, but shout out for the Children's Church song reference!
Is there a ZZ top pinball machine
The Getaway features ZZ Top music…and Back to the Future has their song Doubleback from BTTF3.
Not a real one but there is a fan made VPX table
As a kid , I would have loved this...Who am I kidding, I'm an adult and would still love it.
Are your fingers covered in jam. Look at state of that button area
I love my star wars pinball 1up . I'm happy I got it for $550 because it's around $800 now. For $800 getting at games is better.
When I won't be able to see difference, i'll buy one
i seen videos with people swapping the control panel out with official arcade machine panels.
Imagine playing Sonic Spinball on that.
Is the screen refresh rate only 60Hz? For any pinball, 120Hz is minimum..
Edit: yup, the specs say it's only 60fps, duh..
Love pinball machines, Blacknight was my favorite!!
Chip,
Terminator bruh
...Terminator.
Great video! How is the frame rate with the ball and flappers?
It’s actually very good. I do not notice any lag. I also installed solenoids to give it authentic sound and not to rely on the marginal haptics.
the screen looks amazing, even through watching it on here. can you get pinballs like some of the stuff we found in arcades frowing up like the T-2 and stuff?
You can if you hook up a pc to it. Virtually any table ever made is available for FREE this way.
If one can get the android version of Zen Pinball working on it, then they could probably get those Marvel and Srar Wars tables working on it, not to mention, Fox, Bethesda table packs as well.
@Candy Claw Cool, they alow it? Or did someone else hack it?
I love pinball, I didn't know this was a thing. I'm sold
It's like an improved version of the Toyshock Haunted House v-pin.
As opposed to the original wide body Space Invaders pinball by Bally from early ‘80’s.
Just pulled the trigger/plunger! It's $400 at Sam's Club right now!
Awesome video man 😎!
$800 but you need a USB thumb drive sticking out of the top 24/7?
LOL
