    I have never used a co-wash. I made number 3. I washed my hair with it and I was kinda bummed. It felt weird. Like soft like a conditioner I thought how is my hair gonna be clean. 4 days later it’s still super soft. It’s amazing. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I love it!

    Expensive co-wash is the main reason I started DIY hair and skin care. The only shampoo that worked for my curls was a $36/bottle cowash with an intense rose fragrance I didn't really care for. I'm going direct to formula #3... but maybe a little richer! 😀

      I think prices of today is why we all moved into it.
      It's been years since I bought soap, lotion, 6 months I've not bought conditioner for me and my babies. Fur babies. 5 month old long haired shepherd. Beautiful shine. Pomeranian, makes her fur so soft

    Thanks so much for another awesome video! The cost savings were the primary reason I got into DIYing, but the more time goes on, the more I'm completely fascinated by the ingredients, how they interact, and what effects they have in different combinations. It's so cool! I'm looking forward to giving these formulations a try... #3 seems like it will work best for me, but I'm going to test them all to compare. Bye-bye, New Wash!

    Thanks so much!!! 🤗🥳 Just what I needed! I've been searching for cowashing formula but I couldn't find anything. The one I buy is quite expensive and these really are winners. Any aditional ingredients (or substitutions) you recommend for thick and frizzy hair? Love your blog and this channel🧡

    Hello, thank you so much for doing this dupe. I was looking at the ingredients for Original New Wash and was curious about a few things. Why you didn’t include glycerin for these formulations? And what role would Isopropyl alcohol play in the New Wash formation. It was included on all of them. Thanks in advance

    Hey Marie… hope you are doing greaaat! I was hoping if you could kindly make a leave in non sticky hair conditioner formulation for dry frizzy curly hair… as i have tried all these three conditioners, my hair has certainly become soft yet untamed and looks frizzy even with the most moisturizing one out of the three… so please please please…help me🥰

    I made a cowash a few years ago with Cocamidopropyl Betaine and decyl glucoside as my surfactant but it made my scalp itchy. I think im gonna try making again without decyl glucoside and see how it works.

    My hair is low porosity & needs a little more cleansing boost, but my husband's hair is curly & I think he needs more emollience. Instead of making 2 different formulas, could I add in a solubilizer (I'll have Cromollient SCE on hand) to get the best of both worlds?

    Hi, this might be a dumb question, but why do you separate out the different phases before heating?
    Obviously l understand for the cool down phase but for the other phases, why not just measure them all out into the same container? Less washing up and once the emulsifiers meltdown everything should mix up🤷‍♀️. Am I missing something?

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  2 роки тому

      Hi Sonia! For these formulations, the melting point of BTMS-50 is high enough that it won't readily melt if water is present.
      You can do all in one in some cases, though. Try it and see what works!

    This has literally nothing to do with "the new wash" formula xddd why are you using it in the thumnail ?

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  2 роки тому +1

      New Wash is a relatively well-known cleansing conditioner product (though they market it as something super innovative). This video is about how to make your own cleansing conditioner. Including a well-known purchase-able product in the thumbnail can help clarify for viewers what the video is about if they don't know the name of the product "category" but do know that product :)

      @@HumblebeeAndMe I know it's a famous cleansing conditioner. But its formula has nothing to do with this one.
