I have course, porous hair and this was incredible. I put it on before shampooing, as she says and then shampoo'd/conditioned afterwards. Not greasy at all, but I can see if you had non-porous hair this may sit on top. I added a touch of jojoba as well to the mix. Thank you very much for sharing this!

We have similar hair and every time I've made a conditioner with Shea butter in it my hair looks greasy at the ends. This one did the same thing and I used my ACV and tea tree oil shampoo to rinse it out then a ACV dilute. The next morning it still looks greasy like the butter didn't wash out

i soak it in my hair for a while (but i just typically just do coconut oil) and then wash it out with just herbal shampoo... sometimes it takes an extra wash.

Tip on washing out oils/coconut oil is to put shampoo in your hair before you get it wet that was it actually sticks instead of just running off

    Hey Ela!
I discovered your channel by chance and I totally binge-watched all your videos - and you've inspired me to try loads of fun new things out with my little niece - especially bath bombs, perfume necklace - and DIY cheese!!
I really love your style and really hope you continue to make videos for a long time!
I wanted to ask - the deep conditioner looks lush, but can you recommend a natural method of making a more conventional, lightweight conditioner, that I could use after your natural shampoo? I have thick hair that I need to condition after washing but I think the deep conditioner might be too heavy for my regular use?
    Cheers love,
    Charlie x

I don't want the dye to last weeks, but I don't want it all to wash out the first time I wash my hair, either, like chalk does. And I don't want to use natural fruit/vegetable dyes either if those last weeks. Any ideas?
