When you work the curve you should change the view window. Like side view, top view.
Press space, then the work view window will be spreading 4 section. Choose a side view 😀 6:48

If you didn't modify anything on the mesh after sweep mesh tool, it naturally already has a rantangle shape for UV. Also I have video of uv unwrapping, you can take an idea of how to do UV. 🙂ua-cam.com/video/SJ7z4igBMfs/v-deo.htmlsi=6XVPWiSUUgXeS70w
